Friendly service every time I go! The Tostilocos and raspados are super delicious. Not overpriced at all.

Jackpot! The Yakimex complex rocks. Raspados Chelito serves Mexican style shaved ice similar to Hawaiian and Scandinavian shaved ice. They have about six flavors, some with natural fruits. I went there on a Sunday and the line was steady but fast. Me? I went for tejuino with lime sorbet and also ended up buying a BIG bag of fresh mango and cucumber halves covered in powered chili, lime and salt. Yum. Very healthy and only $3 for almost a pound of fruit ready to eat. Worth knowing: you can have Valentina, Tapatio, or Tajin, BUT they also make their own ground chile powder which is spicy, flavorful, and awesome. They sell Mexican style corn: tender corn kernels in a cup seasoned with chili powder, lime and salt and (if you want) a little bit of mayo or sour cream. Try it, it's spicy and yummy! I want this in Seattle!!!

We got our fruit cup with taijin, but we also had shrimp ceviche, elotes, and a pork rind cocktail.

It's not the most obvious spot to find given it's located in a strip mall, but look hard and ye shall be rewarded! It's in the same parking lot as fiesta food, which ultimately served as our guiding light! Upon entering, it's like walking into a box of crayons where ice cream is serves! The colors are vibrant and just plain fun. It's hard to be upset when you're going to get ice cream, it's even harder not to love it when everything is so brightly colored! The offerings here are plentiful and pretty amazing. There's probably 50 types of Popsicles that were either water or cream-based. They ranged from familiar to super exotic, to downright unique - to the point that no one knew what they tasted like. For a couple of the flavors they simply said they'd heard they were good and that they were based on fruits from Mexico. I appreciate the honesty and the fact that they've got enough options that few have tried them all! Some other folks here ordered some of the fruit concoctions and they looked amazing! Lots of color, a little spice and plenty of sweet - plus it's healthy since it's fruit! A very fun spot that will have something for you, literally no matter what your preference!

We bought these out of a "food truck" type place at Braun Yur. I love them! First, I ordered a mint ice cream. I expected it to be green like pistacchio, but it was white! I don't like additives in food, so I was impressed. It had an excellent amount of peppermint flavor with the right ratio of chocolate chips. I loved it so much we bought a second one, but coffee flavored. The packaging is simple, but chic. I will be back. Especially since the prices was also great.

The gal running this place is as entrepreneurial as you get - starting around the age of 13 and growing this place to what it is now! It's effectively a food truck that serves ice cream and what a job she does! They've got a dozen flavors ranging from generic to highly creative, all of which seem to incorporate some sort of inspiration from her family. It's $6 for a serving - a bit steep but worth it for the quality of what you get - and can be either a bowl of it or as an ice cream sandwich. Serving sizes are solid too. We sampled elk tracks, chocolate, and The Bron - named after the brewery we were hanging at. All were exceptionally well done and left little to be desired! She moves the truck around each weekend and does private events weekdays and weekends. Hard to go wrong with a local spot making homemade ice cream in creative flavors - A+!
