Hidden gem in downtown Buckeye. This spot has legit Mexican treats. Everything was good but I especially like the corn in the cup. The employees are super nice. Everything is made to order and fresh, well worth the short wait.

Salad or Tostilocos?
Bibi D.

I was craving some Tostilocos and was recommended to this location by a friend. I luckily made it right before they closed. I asked for my Tostilocos to go. I did ask for the cueritos on the side for my husband to enjoy since I didn't like them. Once I got home, I opened it to find no Japanese peanuts and for some reason it had lettuce/cabbage on it. Im not sure if maybe they make them different than other places but I was not happy :(

Fresas con crema & raspado (strawberry mango)

The only raspado place I could find in buckeye and sorry to say but it was a disappointment. I should start by saying I was looking for a raspado place to compare to the ones I've been to in Phoenix and these were not to that level. These are your raspados like from the eloteros, you know the ones with just ice and fake fruit syrup juice. There was zero real fruit in these and just a drizzle of lechera on top. I ordered a rapado of strawberry with mango and butter pecan ice cream, my son ordered the strawberry raspado with strawberry ice cream, and my hubby got the fresas con crema (which was just fresa with whipped cream and granola- not actual fresas con crema). Suffice to say they should have better raspados if that's in their name. And we paid $31 + for this. It's was not worth it. We won't be coming back here.

Fresas and Duro

Passion raspado and fresas con crema.
Jasmin G.

I can't help but come in almost every Saturday since I've discovered this place. Everything is made fresh and you can taste it. I've only tried the fresas con crema and the passion raspado but I'll be back to try more of their menu.

Yes, Yes, Yes! Today, my husband said let's try this place…read more I said ok! As we got closer, I realized I've been in the area several times. I have never ate at any of rhe places though. You order at the counter and the food comes out to the table. You can tell this place is family owned. The owners, whom I assumed were there tonight, were lovely people. While we waited, the woman who took our order brought out a basket of chips with refried beans and fresco queso on top with a side of salsa. Woah! What? Epic. But wait! A few minutes later, a precious girl with the most warm inviting, and beautiful smile came out with 2 warm, homemade corn tortillas, with salsa and cheese for us. These were just complimentary extras we didn't expect at all. Soo good. The restaurant is a humble place. Cute, clean, inviting and roomy. There is an inside seating area and an outdoor section. Someone was grilling meat out front. I think, the owner. I ordered a chili relleno combo. It comes with rice, beans, tortillas, and a drink. Hubs ordered two carne asada tacos, and a carne asada sope. I didn't try anything my husband ordered. ( I was laser focused on my meal lol) But it looked really good. He said, you can tell, they make their food with love. Yes, yes, yes, you can. My dish, was the best chili relleno I have had the entire 5 yrs I have been living in AZ. And the beans were phenomenal. Honestly, I prefer eating at places like this. We came for an impromptu date night. I can say it was one of the best meals and date nights I've had in a while. Thank you. Y'all are gonna see me alot. :)

Lately, I haven't wanted street tacos but the crispy hard-shelled ones of my native San Diego. This…read morefriendly, cozy restaurant more than delivers. No matter how busy, the wait is never long but your food is made to order. They have an abundant salsa bar and, if you sit outside, an employee is cooking up something on a plancha. We don't know what. We have only ever sat inside or carried our tacos home. Next door there's a modern bakery next door with cakes, bars, cookies and traditional Hispanic treats. We're looking forward to checking it out at some point. Stay tuned!

For those complaining about the price, what do you expect?!?! Go to Filiberto's and be a negative Nancy if you want "cheap" food with no love, no intention, and no happiness. The fish tacos are TRUE CALI fish tacos. Fresh fish, FRIED PERFECTLY. The sneaky menu item is the wings. Fried perfectly and huge. Perfect for football season. Do not doubt this place, do not question whether or not you should come here. Quite literally everything is good, and the menu has such a variety that you'll find something that works for you, and yes it will be good. And I'm completely serious when I say this - if someone complains about the food they're wack.

I gave Pony's Miche a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The atmosphere alone made the visit worth it. Mexico…read morewas playing in the World Cup when we arrived, so the whole place was buzzing with energy. The crowd was lively, everyone was cheering, and it created such a fun environment for my friend's birthday dinner. Service ran smoothly the entire night, and the food was genuinely impressive. The shrimp and mahi mahi tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the Fez Burger was the standout. Cooked perfectly to a medium, the combination of the fried onion ring, barbecue sauce, and ciabatta bread made every bite a hit. They even went above and beyond with the birthday cake. It was beautifully decorated and made the celebration feel extra special. Overall, Pony's Miche delivered great vibes, great food, and a great night.

Don't walk. Run. Bullrush. Street race. Get here as fast as humanly possible…read more What a hidden gem. The food is absolutely bomb. The carne asada is juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how it should be. The verde sauce was a revelation--a pure adrenaline rush straight to green-painted Flavor Town. The aguas frescas deserve special recognition. They're refreshing, delicious, and likely one of the reasons people keep coming back. And the breakfast burritos? FAT. The kind of burritos that make you question whether you need another meal that day. You will not leave hungry, and if you somehow do, that's probably a you problem. Now, let's be clear: this is a food truck. Don't come expecting a full-service restaurant experience. There is outdoor seating with shade and a swamp cooler to help combat the Arizona heat, but the real attraction here is the food.

I decided to try some new things & old things. The Torta! Wow, amazing. I loved the Telera bread, with the Asada & Al Pastor, lettuce, cilantro, jalapeño, onion, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and green sauce. Everything was delicious, fresh, and the flavor was amazing. I would recommend. Horchata! I don't remember what is all in this but it's so freaking delicious! Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milk flavor that just hits differently. It's sweet , but so tasty. I never got to the burrito & took it home. The Torta was so big I could only eat half. My beautiful wife loved the queso tacos with Asada and was very happy. She also got the watermelon Fresca and I tried it. Like a piece of watermelon in a cup. Phenomenal flavor. I literally stumbled onto this gem and would definitely go back if in the area. Love the setup with the dining room. Such a nice break from the road. It was noisy for a bit when what sounded like an airplane took off. That surprised me. The service was very good
