Fried Red Snapper, Macaroni & Cheese (not vegan), Plantains

Best fried red snapper I've had. Highly recommend. Everyone is super nice and friendly.

First time here. It's a local spot for me just a few miles away. I ordered their Oxtail plate with rice & peas plus cabbage. It was $27. Coming from FL that was a steep price. I usually pay $17-$20 for a large plate. Most places in FL offer a regular sized and a large sized plate. Their plastic container was in between in size. The oxtail was appealing in appearance and savory but a little tough. They do use a higher quality large sized boned oxtail. The rice was savory. They gave plenty of the rice & peas and oxtail but were ungenerous on the cabbage. Their cabbage was thinly sliced and not roughly cut into large sections like most other establishments. I prefer my cabbage thickly cut. Theirs is like a coleslaw. It did have flavor though. I enjoyed my plate overall and I would give it a solid 4/5. Service was pleasant and quick. I only waited 5 minutes. I stopped by at 7pm on a Saturday. Lobby area is a little run down. There was a live DJ at the time jamming with the tunes. That was interesting. I didn't see any patties but thats more of a breakfast food. I have eaten at over twenty Jamaican restaurants in my 27 years of living in FL in the areas of Fort Lauderdale/Miami and Fort Myers.

Great service! I asked for popular Caribbean dishes to serve at my bookclub. With many food references in the book, Black Cake, Rasta's Kitchen captured the aromatics and rich flavors of the culture. I order a variety of egg rolls, chicken patties, Ackee/salt fish, vegan fried chicken, callalbo, selection of bottled sodas and coconut waters, and the traditional black cake. It was a one stop shop for my party! The simmering veggies were soft and seasoned perfectly. The chunks of fish were large and did not over power the softness of the Achee fruit. The best Caribbean cuisine I've had in years. I want to go back for the red bean veggie soup, so I joined the email to be notified of when new items on the menu pop up.

Jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage.

My first visit to this restaurant and it will not be my last. The service was great and patient (I didn't know what I wanted). And the food was good. Being from Brooklyn, NY I'm trying to find the most "authentic" tasting food and they are off to a great start with the jerk chicken (cooked on a grill is a bonus).

Had a Uber eats delivery from here and it was soooo good !!! They paid attention to every detail and included every thing I added in my notes! And it was hot and fresh when it got here ! I got jerk chicken which was cooked perfect and the sauce was delicious- definitely recommend if you like spicy. The rice and beans was also sooo good ! It was almost like a basmati rice .... DELICIOUS. PERFECTLY cooked. And the cabbage was perfectly Seasoned. Overall food was great and I definitely recommend

This place is a GEM it could easily be on the hit show Diners, Drive-in, and Dives. But it's not a diner, drive-in or dive it's a local spot serving the best Jamaican food prepared by high level cooks-they know what they are doing in the kitchen. I ordered oxtails, rice beans, and plantains and a curry shrimp and crab egg roll. The food is fresh, taste like it's prepared to order, the oxtails and curry shrimp and crab egg roll were next level flavorful. To keep it simple this food is good!

I ordered from this place for the first time. I got the jerk chicken, curry goat, and oxtail. There's only one size so it made it easy to order. The jerk chicken is a little burnt but overall, it wasn't bad. I love the curry goat and the oxtail the most although the amount of oxtail wasn't as much as I was expecting given the price I paid. The side dumpling (forgot what's it called) wasn't what I was expecting. It's like hard bread and the plantain was a little dry.

I eat here once a week... sometimes twice... and every single time it feels like I'm stepping into a tiny piece of Jamaica itself. The aromas hit you before the door even closes behind you. You already know you're in for something special. I order the jerk chicken, and I swear, the grill marks alone could bring a grown man to tears. The seasoning? UNREAL. Smoky, spicy, perfectly balanced like the chef is out here working with ancient island secrets passed down for generations. My wife lives for the curry chicken, and every time she takes the first bite she just looks at me like, "This is it. This is the one." Tender, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. And don't even get me started on the homemade ginger lemonades. I buy two... EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It's refreshing, it's fiery, it's sweet it's basically a vacation in a cup. If they bottled it and sold it nationwide, the world economy would shift. Now as for the carrot cake... listen, I don't even let my wife know I'm grabbing it. I sneak that thing out of the bag like it's classified information. That first bite? Bro. Heavenly. Whoever makes it deserves a medal. The service is warm, the food is elite, and the entire experience is pure joy. This is what real Jamaican food tastes like. This is what soul in cooking looks like. This is what every restaurant should aspire to be. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're robbing yourself. RUN ! don't walk and treat yourself to the best Jamaican cuisine around. A true gem. A weekly ritual. A must-try for anyone who loves real flavor.

Took my family here for lunch- service was lackluster & all the food was below mediocre. The coconut shrimp & crab cheese dip apps were both cold- shrimp batter was hard, dip was stiff & clumpy. The seafood paella was very salty, my jerk chicken pasta was bland, Caribbean red snapper & Jamaican curry pork chop were overcooked but tasted okay, mashed sweet potatoes were watery and tasteless. Avoid the coconut shrimp tacos, it's just like the app & yellow rice was cold. Definitely a disappointing experience- never again...

We were advised that the app would text us when our seats were ready, that didn't happened. As we waited the additional 30 minutes no one came and gave that customary, "We'll be with you in a moment." In fact we got up and advised them that we were still waiting. At that time we were seated. We finally sat at a booth. When our server arrived, he was dashing from table to table. He moved quickly and talked fast. He was courteous, however I felt rushed looking through the menu. The coconut shrimp tacos I ordered were average. I was still eating off my plate when my server asked if I was finished with my food, that was a first. I wouldn't come back on a Saturday night.
