My very first visit here. I asked the locals for good Jamaican food. Well here I am. Upon entering staff greeted us with a hearty hello and welcome. Very happy to assist We were slow and confused about what to order but we were not rushed the young man that took our order Keitho was very patient. Let me first say the food was amazing. I ordered shrimp curry with sweet potatoes and rice with beans. A hefty portion to the breaking down became two meals with some left over. My daughter ordered chicken curry with cabbage and sweet potatoes. I will tell you she barely put a dent in it. I will definitely return to this establishment and recommend it to friends and family that visit the area. There were many restaurants in this area I'm extremely happy I chose this one. read more

This was my first time at this place.... The first impression wasn't a good one. I ordered jerk chicken with rice and beans, and cabbage.. While everything was hot, it was obviously just reheated. Some parts of the chicken was moist, other parts had that exposed to air look and texture to it as if it was left over from the weekend. The rice and beans were the same. And the cabbage just didn't have any type of flavor or seasoning... The service was pleasant, there were a few tables to eat on (I took mine to go), and the prices were reasonable.... I came here on a Friday evening. Ordered the oxtails and rice and peas. They were out of cabbage and curry coat and other things so options were limited. The food was average at best. It wasn't the best Jamaican food I ever had and it wasn't the worst, it was just okay. It was a bit salty and the candy yams were pretty much mashed yams and almost watery. I was not expecting that.
