Gage came out a few years ago and took care of a long-standing problem we seemed to never get under control. He did a terrific job sealing all the entry points and things were grand until recently when I heard some action in our attic. So, I contacted Gage again to let him know that I think we had some visitors again. He texted me right back within 15 minutes or so and scheduled a visit a few days later. He did a full-on inspection of our eves, and points of entry, and found a spot where these critters may have found a way in. He sealed up that area and set some new traps. He returned to check today and yep, nailed a pair of rodents who were trapped and couldn't get out. We had a dead animal under our house, which smelled horrible and resulted in an infestation of fleas and flys in a couple rooms in our home. This was an extra bedroom and bathroom that we only use sometimes, so unfortunately things were in a pretty bad state by the time we noticed. Highly recommend this family own business! Tina is the rock star when it comes to getting us back on safety zone! Got to admit, I am still a little bit ashamed to having to experience this. Never wish anyone has to go through this. But glad to have found Tina ( well Thanks to Teddy too for answering my call during a weekend)! They did such a good job that get us back on our feet within no time-thus, despite feeling ashamed, satisfied customer like myself owe them a good review. Our place was built in 1951. Needless to say that the architecture is not the best when it comes to protect the property from damn mice or other pest. It doesn't help when you have neighbors don't take good care of their property attracts them at the first place. So when we put out snacks tray to welcome our guests up on arrival, I guess the mice found its way to food in addition to warmth so they invaded the guest room by digging a hole next to the pipe causing this "infestation" incident. Once we discover this, we call this business on Saturday, arranged an onsite first thing on Sunday morning, get ride of the trouble makers by 5 PM on Sunday! They really efficient, come get ride of those ugly mice with a quick text. If you even have a doubt that there is mice in your place, call them NOW and get things under control ASAP! I'm so glad I contacted this place to remove a huge raccoon from my attic! I was a bit skeptical cus this place didn't have any yelp reviews nor a website I could refer to, but I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did cus I called 8 different places in the bay area and these guys were the only ones who responded promptly, nicely, and was quick to arrange an inspection the very next day. (They were also extremely accommodating and sensitive to my work schedule which I really appreciated.) What also drew me to choose them, was that they have a free inspection fee (most of the other places charge a very high fee without even catching the animal!) and then charged me very reasonably for the raccoon they caught. He first came out and evaluated the situation, and then recommended an excellent trapper for capturing the skunks. Once the trapping was completed, Tim returned PROMPTLY the same day and got right to work creating an excellent concrete barrier complete with wire mesh to stop further returns from fellow skunks. Prior to his departure, he did a quick check of my utility closet and saw some holes in the sheet rock around the PG&E and Comcast service entries. We have a five unit building and then there was a sudden infestation of rats (not mice, the big ones). This is an old-post earthquake structure so we knew that there is a lot of opportunity for rat infestation. We called a number of places, but most said they could not see us for weeks, and some did not even return our call. . However, we spoke to Rats Rodent Control and they said they could help us out immedialely -- you don't want to wait on tnis kind of thing. Anyway, Tim was out here the next day. He went thought the units and immediately pointed out the situation -- little holes, chewing on the walls, dog food hoarded by behind appliances -- that told us that we had a problem. He moved very fast -- carefully covering holes, setting traps, etc. He was quick, very careful, and competent. Tim is going to be following up in two weeks, so that is the final report card. Tim just finished taking care of a squirrel situation in my attic and I really couldn't be more pleased with his work and professionalism. I had a couple squirrels going in and out of a small space in the attic of my house. I called out several companies (one of which told me to patch it up and wait until the smell of dead animal was strong enough and then cut open the ceiling......I couldn't believe it). I had Tim come out to quote the job and take a look at the problem. He was able to start working on the spot and took about 20 minutes building a small trap that would not harm the squirrels, but also wouldn't let them back into the attic space. Once all the squirrels were gone (we waited about a week) he came back and patched it up. He was very responsive despite having had an accident in the middle of our time on the project. I could tell he really cared about his job and making sure he did things right. He was able to work with my work schedule and come at a time that was convenient for me as well. He was very professional and really had the attitude of making whatever schedule constraints I had work for me. Overall, he was much more efficient and less expensive than anyone else I talked to. Don't bother with any other company. Tim is the best!!!! We have had an ongoing problem, Pestic came out about a year ago and completely screwed-up the job, the guy did everything in the wrong order, he ended up trapping the rats in, they ate a hole through our new siding to get out and worse, there were still rats. We then insulated and sheet rocked the ceiling of our garage which is right under our flat. The rats found a way up into the insulation and are now eating holes through our floors. Tim came by today, he is the best!!!! He just came out for an inspection, which was a $75 fee, he was so thorough. He crawled, climbed everywhere, said our place was tight. He left us with traps and said we could do it ourselves. He is completely honest, he could have sold us on anything at this point we are so desperate. Whatever he tells you to do, trust him and do it. He clearly has enough work if you read the reviews. He isn't going to rope you into ongoing B.S. just to get and maintain clients that he can keep coming back and charging over and over again. read more

I called around to a few different places and decided to go with this place because of the ratings they had received on here, I was not disappointed to say the least. Tim was awesome! I was having problems with rodents at one of our properties and my tenant was understandably upset. I contacted Tim and he reached back out to me the same day and set something up within a couple of days. Once he arrived and had a chance to asses the situation it was worst than I could have imagined. Tim and his partner were able to jump into action and had to come up with a creative way (because of the tight space between the buildings) of solving the situation. Once they had closed off the access points and treated the area they cleaned up all of the mess that the rodents had created. They followed up shortly after to make sure everything was taken care of and there were no more issues. I wholeheartedly recommend this company if you are having trouble with rats or rodents of any kind. I almost never complete a review unless I am displeased, but I thought this was so amazingly great I wanted to share as it was a very disturbing to find rodents running through my space. I spotted them running all over my living room under my sofa and under my bed! Tim with Rats Rodent Control responded right away to my desperate call, and when he arrived went right to work. Very professional. Worked quickly. Explained everything he did. Tim, found the entrance where mice had nibbled their way through rubber flashing on garage door, and another spot where they had nibbled at a back door also. they entered the washroom looking for a warm spot to nest and set up housekeeping behind the dryer where it was warm. Tim fixed the garage door and back door flashings and inspected outside along the house line to be sure there were no more places of access. He also caulked up a couple of open spots where my cabinets were installed. Pulled out appliances and checked to be sure no nest behind them, and checked behind the gas furnaced and hot water heaters. The mice had run out through the open holes by my cabinets, Tim left a trap just in case and will be back in 5 to 7 days to be sure we caught them in time. Had I waited to call, we would have had an infestation of the whole house including tenants upstairs! We suspected a rat or squirrel in our attic. Our exterminator recommended a proofing firm, but their reviews were terrible. Using Yelp, I found Tim (Rats Rodent Control) instead. He has great reviews. I called him on a Saturday morning (Memorial Day Weekend). He calls me back right away and offered to come out the next morning (Sunday) to inspect and get on this. He inspected the entire house for entry points in about 30 minutes reporting back that it was very well constructed and had maybe 2 possible entry points from the roof to the attic. He professionally replaced wire mesh and flashing for a vent and an eave. Cleaned up rat droppings. Took photos to confirm repair. Removed an old bird nest on the roof, and was done in 75 minutes. He left no trace of debris. I expected some crazy high weekend rate ($$$) at the end, like some standard one size fits all price. But no way, he was super fair with his price, he was happy to get the business, he thanked me, and said he'd come back anytime if needed. But that he's so thorough, he rarely needs to come back ! :-) Hire this guy if you want 5-star service. Very impressive. read more

Tim just left my house and I am thoroughly pleased with his top-notch work and excellent customer service! We had a potential rat problem, we had seen droppings, rind peelings from our Meyer lemon tree, and was aware of 1 access area that had been previously sealed by foam but had been eaten away. Called Tim and left a message, he called back within 30min! WoW! Told him i wasn't exactly sure if we had rats in our garage area, but wanted him to come out to evaluate the area to see if there were any additional openings other than the one we recently discovered. I expected him to tell me it wouldn't be until several weeks, as that was my answer to other pest control companies. He said since, it wasn't a for sure thing we had a rodent problem, he could stop by in 20min to check the foundation of the house and garage! Unbelievable, I was shocked and happily pleased! When he came he took his time to look in every cranny, small crawl space, corners, behind furniture,etc. in my garage, and then preceded to look around the outside foundation area as well. He found several areas that needed to be sealed and recommended sheet metal and quick dry cement. He also told me to return the Home Depot rat traps that hubby bought and use the cheaper ones instead (saved us $40.00 +). He uses a special bait that he highly recommends (not poison) and has lots of success with it! After doing his assessment he said he wouldn't charge me the full amount since I really didn't have a rat issue, but just needed to seal some areas that could be accessed by rodents. He said we could do it or he could for a small fee, which I was happy to give him the business since he was so very kind to come out on a moments notice. He sealed 4 areas with sheetmetal and cement, he set 4 traps with his bait, and assured me we should be protected from here on out. Tim rates are reasonable and he has been doing rodent control for several years. He is experienced, professional and his friendly personality is a big plus! We've been noticing some rodent activity in our ceilings, and decided to contact rodent control service providers to get three price quotes. I was suffering from a rat and mouse infestation. I called Dirty Rats and they came out almost at once. They arrived promptly to begin work. They inspected my house and determined what needed to be done to prevent rats, mice and raccoons from entering my house. They cleaned up and located the rats nest and the mouse nest. They removed them. They installed traps to catch any remaining rats and mice. In one day they removed all predators from my house. The technician was polite,capable and friendly.
