    Dean's Signature Margaritas- $25 each.....wow

Thursday night madness!! I don't think this place ever sleeps! Pretty rowdy crowd for a median age of 50 (that's not old folks, but they were partying like college kids). Overpriced, regular-degular-ass margs...not mad at that...I mean, damn, we ARE at the Ritz. But hey! they WERE pretty! Paid $50 (2 drinks) here for the same, if not better, 2 drinks I could get at Texas Roadhouse for $20. I read the reviews about the bartenders being complete buttholes....didn't have that problem at all....we were able to get our drink orders going a couple of minutes after our arrival (maybe because of who I was with???) my slight issue was with the PATRONS....why don't yall take a picture? it'll last longer...the stares would've made the biggest narcissist feel uncomfortable....c'mon guys....it's 2021...and I know I don't look THAT good.....**eye roll**

Drinks were amazing! We went on date night and service was great, drinks worth the price. Will come back. Seats are first come basis at the bar area.

Rattlesnake Bar has an amazing espresso martini, solid 9/10. Highly recommend getting there early or you will be waiting a while to order drinks.

This bar/ restaurant is inside of the Ritz Carlton. Small menu but the nachos are delicious! VALET is not included any longer.

The Rattlesnake Bar is a stop on the "Margarita Mile" and we should have skipped this one. We had fun checking out the fancy Ritz but were pretty surprised that 4 of the margaritas featured for the mile were a total of $95.00. Some kind of price warning would have been appreciated. This bar is also a bit snooty and does not really fit in with the rest of the stops. One gentleman here was so drunk he could barely walk and kept coming to our table making it difficult to enjoy these way overpriced drinks.

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

The service felt distant and rushed. Our server seemed unfamiliar with the menu, gave us conflicting information about drink availability, and rarely checked on us. We specifically asked not to be rushed, yet our entrées arrived while we were only a quarter of the way through our appetizer. At one point, our food was delivered while we were outside getting fresh air. The food was also disappointing. The scallops and chicken were extremely salty and lacked flavor, and the chicken was overcooked. When we brought it up, the server did little to address it. To top it off, we saw two large cockroaches around our table, which was especially noticeable in the dark dining room. The cocktails were the highlight, but overall, the service, food, pacing, and cleanliness did not meet expectations. One star. Very disappointing, and I'm not sure I'll be back.

When we walked in, the hostesses greeted us and seated us at the table we had reserved in the Leopard Room. Initially, we were placed at a small half table along the wall. We asked if it was possible to move, and they happily accommodated us. That particular table felt a bit awkward for conversation since you can barely face the person across from you. It might work better for someone sitting alone and people watching rather than having a full conversation. Service throughout the night was great. The staff checked in regularly without being intrusive and made sure we always had what we needed. For drinks, I would say they were just okay. They were not bad, but they also were not particularly memorable. Given the speakeasy concept, I expected a bit more creativity in both flavor and presentation. We ordered the Melting Clock Elixir, Persistence of Berries, Cotton Candy Cloud, and the Surrealist 75. As the night went on, the space became much more crowded and louder once the DJ started playing. If you are hoping to have a relaxed conversation and catch up with friends, this might not be the best spot later in the evening. From what I saw, the Library Room seems to have a nicer atmosphere for that. The Leopard Room leans more toward a lounge or club-like environment as the night progresses.
