Rally liked this place and it's my first time coming here doing service with them. Called ahead and they said that it will be quick. Had my own oil and filter ready as well, so after all that it only cost me $15 to get an oil change. Can't beat that! It's cheaper then getting it done myself, since renting a bay is already $20 on Lackland. Save your money and time for sure. The service was very quick and efficient and they did everything with paying attention to the detail. All together took about 25-30 minutes and I was able to get in right away. Really great if you don't have much time on hand. Man that took care of my car was very nice and polite (rare thing if you're a woman and getting your vehicle serviced), so thank you so much for that as well. I will gladly come back to this location in case I need any other service that they provide. There's plenty of parking there with a bathroom inside the building. They provide coffee to the people that decide to wait inside and there's also a vending machine too. Overall great experience. read more

Above and beyond every time!!! I believe the best way to stay green is keep my cars on the road. I have a 2001 Mustang with a shiny rebuilt engine done fast and professionally. My 2005 Dodge Neon needed motor mounts done fast and professionally ! Now my 97 Jeep is heading that way for a fuel pump and I have no doubt the service will be as great as always. This place doesn't even deserve one star. In October 2022, only five months ago I came to Econo Lube and Tune for new brakes and rotors. Well, since my brake pad indicator has come on in my car notifying me that they need to be replaced in less than 500 miles. As soon as I could I called Econo Lube and let them know the situation and they said to bring my car in. I did so during my lunch day before yesterday was told I'm looking a two hour wait. At the time I could not wait. Aaron, the "General Manager" asked if I could come in 5 PM later that day which, again, I could not. He said call and schedule an appointment, which I did and then was told to just bring my car in the morning, that's the best time to go. Today March 15th a day later I returned at 9:30am. Aaron looked frustrated soon as he saw me, no "how are you, but yes ma'am?" Is this a joke? He knew why I was there? I explained "I'm back because I need someone to look at my brakes they should be under warranty". He said "do you have a two hours to wait?" I replied "no but I have to make time." At that point Aaron appeared to get frustrated with me and started asking questions what the issue was, which I already explained. I again mentioned the whole story over again. Arron was obviously irritated with me as well. He said it's gonna be at least a two hours and asked why didn't go to my dealership. Why would I go to the dealership when the issue is that my brake light indicator has come on after having the brake work done at Econo only five months ago? It's Econo Lube's obligation to check on why I am having a brake light indicator come on after only a short time of the initial work they did. I guess they feel differently like they're not responsible any longer because it's not new money but rework. Soon after I walked into the shop to wait. Aaron came in and said "I guess you're going wait." I replied "Yes I am." From that point on we got into a loud argument because of course I understand he's frustrated that there's a problem from the work that they did. But that's not my problem. It is their responsibility to honor their work and check on my issue instead of giving me the runaround. In good faith I really thought that they would honor the warranty and check on my car without giving me so many problems, but instead I am going to my the dealer. I DO NOT TRUST ECONO. I'm done with small businesses from this point forward. In addition, don't trust what they tell you. I found out that they charged me for brake pads and rotors but Carfax only reveals that they replaced my brake pads and no mention of the rotor replacement. Sloppy place. If you need auto work done, I suggest look for a more reputable, trustworthy company who will do and update the work right the first time, or just go to the dealer. Don't let their nice personalities fool you, because as soon as you have an issue or possible rework their whole mood changes. I just bought a beat up yet decent 06 Nissan Titan, and right away I knew I better get an oil change to start. So I took it here at this location. I must say, Daniel and his team were on the job soon as I pulled in the driveway. I was greeted politely and asked to wait in their lobby. Although, there were other people there getting their vehicle repaired, within 30 mins or so, my truck was ready. Okay so I actually came here on a whim because the place I originally planned to go to was booked. They were able to take my car back right away. After about 30 minutes the owner (I believe) said he would need my car a little longer because one of his guys broke a tubing while doing my oil change. I have a BMW so he said he didn't just want to patch it but that he sent one of his guys to BMW about 20 miles way to buy the tubing. Due to the inconvenience he allowed me to borrow his car to go home and come back. He called me later on to say BMW lied and didn't have the tubing available so he did the temporary fix and will completely fix it later on in the week. For my troubles he fixed my rear light for free! Even though they broke a piece in my car, he was honest and accommodating. I will definitely return! read more

Went in because I was having some coolant leak. They charged me $40 to do a pressure test (Which looked like my 5 year old niece could do, almost as easy as she can pump up her bike tire). They told me as previously discussed, it was NOT a hose issue, but that I needed to replace the thermostat housing. They did show me where the issue was, which I appreciate. However. They told me parts and labor would be $499.98. I declined and went to the nearest parts store. Bought the part for $67. The part has 3 bolts. And was changed out in less than 30 minutes. Not sure why it would have cost them $500 to do such a simple job...unless of course the part they were going to use was made of Gold. Or maybe it's because I'm a woman and they think I'm an idiot. Either way, won't go there again. read more
