Fantastic. Staff is not intrusive. They are conisoures of beer/wine/coffee/food who are not pretentious. Menu is fresh, interesting and good without being outrageous. Prices are fare for a touristy area like downtown Prescott. Environment includes inside and outside spaces that make you feel comfortable and intrigued. A lot of locality in the atmosphere without being "wild west" themed. The views from the deck are unmatched for a lunch spot with this price point. read more

A plate of limp spring mix, a few bits of bacon, a couple grape tomatoes halved, one egg cut up and possibly a teaspoon of blue cheese crumbles. Requested 1000 Island dressing. Got a sm amount that wasn't really cold. I should've taken a photo but was with a friend and didn't want to make a fuss. How hard can it be to prepare a Cobb salad? Interesting place! Our choice for lunch wasn't open on this particular day so I handed my Yelp app to my husband and let him pick a nearby option. This was his choice! I liked that signage indicated that there was an upstairs patio. With the beautiful Prescott weather (aside from winter), we almost always opt for outdoor dining. I highly recommend upstairs! You get a great view of Thumb Butte in the distance. The salvaged glass wall on one side is a nice touch as well. We ordered downstairs and then headed upstairs to find a seat. The Raven Cafe bills itself as a European Style Cafe so I wonder if that's why they do it that way. At first it bugged me because what if I needed another drink or something? Well, I didn't really need to worry because even though we finished our meal and were almost done with our drinks, a server came up to ask if we needed anything else and find out how things were. It made me glad I tipped on my original receipt! It was nice to know that even though you had paid, they were still concerned about your experience and needs. My husband had the Raven burger which was fantastic! I know - he always shares his food with me. Just the description on the menu makes you want to order it. I got the nachos (can't remember the name of them) that happened to be vegetarian. I just thought they sounded good! They were! I think they could improve that dish if they used fresh jalapeno slices instead of jarred. I want more heat, less vinegar. All in all, I think we eventually will be back again! read more

One of the best places I have ever been! I was really undecided when I walked to the cafe. I had looked them up on Yelp, gone over the menu several times, but when I walked in it was a warm and comfortable atmosphere. I sawed that they had a taco Tuesday night, and for all the meat lovers, their regular tacos looked really good. For all the vegans, their vegan tacos were to die for. They were light, and delicious and filling. I also ordered a glass of Mint Chamomile tea, which they add to their own tea bags in house and place a plate over the top for the discarded tea bag, and to help keep the water hot while it steeps. It was aromatic and delicious and went extremely well on a cool rainy night with delicious vegan tacos. I lastly ordered a bottle of their Beer of the Day, which was Dr. Jekyll's IPA. They sold me the bottle and poured the first third into a small bourbon glass. It was amazing. It was the best IPA I have ever tasted. The atmosphere was so welcoming that I even made acquaintances with a local patron and the staff were all so welcoming. I even overheard one of the staff helping a couple decide on a wine and was more than happy to walk them through each wine they sold. This was the best place to unwind after a long day. The room is filled with local art on the walls, all for sale, and perfectly lit so it didn't feel like a bar, but didn't have the same restaurant feel like so many of the other places near by. I will be returning as often as possible. I love that they cater to all kinda of tastes and walks of life. I absolutely loved it there and can't wait to return and try something new. read more

first time there and literally fell in love. the staff was extremely helpful super nice, i loved the customer service they had there. the food was absolutely astonishing along with the coffee. they had this jazz band come out to play around 7pm and it was a lovely performance. i loved the atmosphere there, i was amazed when i saw the book rack with a sign that read "take, borrow, or add". and then there were a bunch of board games to borrow while in the cafe as well. i was shocked to see that they had an upstairs seating area that was outside. overall i really loved the place and cannot wait to go back again read more

Have been here a few times over the years and it's gone downhill. The gentleman working was fairly rude and snide. The employees in general all looked unhappy. They tip themselves on the screen and read the total after they've tipped themselves the percentage they feel they're entitled to. If you ask about the total they don't indicate it's due to whatever amount they've chosen to tip themselves. This has happened with multiple employees over multiple occasions so beware the total they read factors in whatever they've decided to tip the staff. Between that, the snide comments from the gentleman working, and getting the order wrong, I recommend you go somewhere where the staff is appreciative, respectful, and affordable. He said the total was due to extras I'd ordered but when I got home realized he didnt include them with the order. He'd just tipped himself and charged for the extra food that never made it into the order read more

This is the place to be in downtown Prescott. This isn't a hidden gem by any means, but it is for sure a gem. This multi-funcitonal space is perfect for these reasons: - grabbing a coffee/glass of wine/craft beer/delicious tea, - chatting with super nice people or bringing your own super nice people to chat with, - listening to local music, watching movies (Tuesday=movie night!), playing trivia on Mondays (find me there tonight!), and playing board games with friends, - this is a great travel office space or remote-workspace, - and lastly, but certainly not least since I am sure I'm leaving out at least 25 good reasons to be here: THE FOOD IS AWESOME. We had dinner here the other night, we sat at the bar, we were quickly attended to by some really nice bartenders so we didn't have to wait in line (#protip!) but we did notice that for the 2 hours we were there the line literally never stopped. Today's selection for instance, was a lamb burger with mint chimichurri, smoked gouda, arugula & tomatoes on a brioche bun - delicious and perfect with the side salad w/ cilantro-lime vinaigrette! (Keep in mind that regular, waffle or sweet potato fries were also an option!) We came here on a Friday night for some brews & live music. It was fantastic! The interior was really hip & cozy at the same time.. The lighting to the wood panels to the artwork on the wall, it was great. But what really blew me away was their beer! Such wonderfully crafted beer for ONLY 4.50.... Wow. We got 5 beers for just under $20. That's just INCREDIBLE!! In LA it would've costed like $9/beer.... The music was also really nice. The live band played everything from like jazz to ballads to whatever else.. I really enjoyed the music. In fact, I enjoyed the music here the most that night. For the coffee, I would rate this 5 stars. For the food, unfortunately, I would rate this a 1. Maybe coctail hour is where they shine. But the breakfast was questionable. Avocado toast consisted of dry wheat toast with a couple of slices of avocado, a couple of thin tomato slices and a bit of hard boiled egg. Chilaquiles omelette was an omelette with hamburger meat. Hmmm... Certainly not what we were anticipating in any regard. Definitely go for the coffee. That was really good. But I will certainly give it a hard pass when it comes to food. read more

My husband and I love Sunday brunch and we have enjoyed coming here for the last couple of weeks. We really enjoyed the piano playing while we were here the first time and it is what brought us back the second time but we're somewhat disappointed when there was no pianist. In an old building that looks like it was gutted and rebuilt with a upscale western modern interior. We went there for breakfast. Order food at the bar and they deliver to the table. Food was decent, a bit over priced. Service OK, food was kinda slow coming out, but within acceptable norms. I think I'd hit this place again for beers, music and pub grub in the PM. read more

Had to ask for our food after waiting 30 minutes and seeing other people get food that had been there half as long. We were told it had just come up, but it was obvious it had been sitting for a long time. My lemon chicken pita was all the same Luke warm temperature, the chicken was dried out, and the sauce had started to develop a film like mayonnaise that has been left sitting out. My daughter had the cheese quesadilla kids meal with fruit. The cheese was congealed and it had a very unappetizing banana flavor. The fruit was a combination of cantaloupe and honeydew and was almost transparent and sitting in a pool of juice. Definitely tasted well past when it should have been served. read more

Hands down our Prescott spot for lunch...we basically won't try anything else ever! Just like I do whenever I'm out of town, I took to the Yelp app to find decent eats. We had just finished hiking Lynx Lake and were famished and hot. At first we grabbed a little table inside by the counter then ordered some bites and brews from their board. But then we ventured up to their rooftop area and BAM! Make sure you walk up their steps to enjoy a nice breezy lunch under their iron patio covering. We ordered some beer off their board, but both of us kept picking brews that were out. So, finally the man taking our order went down to the basement and grabbed us two micro brew bottles of dark beer (Ninkasi Vanilla Oatis from Eugene, OR) and a Belgian style ale (Brainless Raspberries from Epic Brewing). Well worth it counting on his taste and our requests...because they were both fantastic! Sipping beer on the rooftop was just what we needed to continue our day of relaxation. (see my business pic) I really wish I could remember the two beers he chose for us. :-( This is what I get for forgetting to write my reviews right away. Since our first visit, we've been back and both times we ordered their Asadero Nachos. Knowing everything is organic and local made this bowl of deliciousness that much better. It has black beans, an asadero cheese sauce, olives, guacamole, and jalapenos. Their Carne Adovada tacos are also well worth the wait....and I'm pretty sure it's the cilanto-lime vinaigrette. The lemon chicken pita is small but fills you up real quick...after the asadero nachoes of course! I love tzatziki sauce in general...but their addition of lemon pepper really packs a juicy punch. read more

We stopped here prior to a great hike near by. It is super cute and trendy. We were hoping for breakfast but were 5 minutes late. Maybe we didn't realize what we walked into but of the 3 meals ordered, only one received a "good" review. I had the cauliflower tacos and it was honestly better taking the cauliflower off and just having it with the rest of the fixings. My friend had the Korean Bbq sandwich was more like a spicy sloppy Joe. I personally did not read the menu but the meat, if it was, was mushy and had a very weird texture. Which made me question if maybe it was Beyond meat. The sandwich came with tater tots or it was extra, not sure, they were great! The 3rd person had the veggie burger and she said it was good and it looked great. Typical drink items were slim choosing. We definitely would not revisit. In addition, very over priced. They have live music multiple times per week; I love the intimacy The Raven offers but when there is a popular band playing there is almost nowhere to sit or stand (gets really crowded). Alas, I still come here when I'm in town and have a good time every single time. They have a wide selection of brews, wines and even the local mead which is an amazing touch- I personally love seeing businesses support each other. The Raven is a must whether you're a local (chances are you already frequent this place) or just visiting. As far as food it seems okay, nothing amazing but it is there. read more

It was an absolutely beautiful day, a month ago in Prescott. We stopped for lunch. We were taken to the rooftop. The temperature was 83 degrees. The breeze was blowing gently with a refreshing caress. My friend ordered a vegetarian dish. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with egg and a side of onion rings. We were pleasantly surprised to see gluten free, vegetarian and meat offered on the menu. My friend raved about her serving of vegetarian tacos. I enjoyed my burger and rings. We then chose acia sorbet. Wow! It was fabulous! This was the best sorbet I have ever tasted. The restaurant was very emphatic about observing proper safe distance and cleanliness. All the waiters wore masks. This was a lovely experience. I am looking forward to returning to the rooftop. read more

Raven Cafe is a very cool place. Went for breakfast and the Breakfast Sandwich with avocado and Burro Bandito were both great. One of the better bfast sandwiches I've ever had. Organic ingredients. The coffee bar could have been better, but was better than the vast majority of "cafes." The space was also very tastefully designed and decorated with lots of woodwork and local art.
