Long beer list with lots of funky options! They also have some cocktails available using local spirits from Rhodium. I had a hard time choosing between the Pretty In Pink strawberry lager and the Apple Pie Seltzer, but the PIP was actually all out (so sad!!) so I went with the seltzer. It had a strong almost artificial scent, but a much more mild flavor. It wasn't too sweet and had notes of cinnamon - very unique and drinkable, although I don't think I'd need more than one. I was surprised and pleased to see they have a food menu. There's a pretty big parking lot but it's very uneven and filled with pot holes, and people park a little...erm...creatively - you've been warned. On weekends I've seen the main and overflow lot fill up, and I couldn't even find street parking, so had to go elsewhere - plan accordingly. The tap room is big and has nice bathrooms that are always clean. The main seating option are long picnic table benches - my back personally cannot do a backless seat for more than an hour without being in pain, so take that into consideration. It's also kind of awkward to swing your legs into the seat every time you have to get up, especially if it's full and you're in the middle. I'd love this place so much more if it just got normal tables and individual chairs with backs! My favorite thing about this brewery is that it is dog friendly and there are usually multiple gorgeous furry faces here to oggle over. read more

Omg such an amazing and hidden gem! Delicious beer (says my husband), delicious food and impressive customer service! Fun & loud vibes that welcomes kids and dogs... what else could you ask for!?!? The dogs were my favorite part and I met a nice lady with a dog she's had for over 9 years and she was just the cutest dog ever! So many cute dogs in there that it made my day in a gloomy day like today! Not too many handicap parking spots but they do have a handicap bathroom. I'm not sure how I haven't reviewed the guild yet. I've been to both locations many times! I love their sour beers and their snack options. I've been here for drinks with friends, for a bouncing event, for various dog fundraisers and more. The space is absolutely adorable. They now have a little side space for RI spirits and it's such a cute addition. The whole place is dog friendly which is one of my fave parts of going to this guild location---hanging with so many dogs! read more

The Guild has one of the best physical breweries in the state. It is housed in a huge old mill building with a giant outdoor court yard that opens up in the summer. The beers are also quite varied, rotating & good including a collab with Providence College for a light lager. The old English ale beer was probably my favorite & the most surprising. They also have many non beer options like flavored hard seltzers. The service is also pretty solid, especially sitting at the bar. Where The Guild falls a little short is the kitchen. The flatbread can be skipped as I found the sauce to be way too sweet. The pretzel is pretty decent & worth a try. We visited the Guild for some quick bar munchies and some brews, and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options to choose from. The Guild seems to offer something for everyone in terms of flavor profile, in both beverages (including NA or seltzer options) and food (vegetarian options). There is a big screen to watch sports with a big group, opening up the space for some socialization with fellow fans. The service was welcoming and quick. This is a well known brewery spot in Pawtucket. We arrived around noon time on a Sunday and it was very slow. There's a good amount of parking right in the main lot and alternate lots. We attended a special event that was taking place in the "Barn" (towards the back of the property). The space is ample, between the Barn and the main brew hall. At the event they had several Guild products to taste from lager to IPAs to hard seltzer, and more... The IPA was very hoppy and a bit bitter, a bit too much for me, so I ended up getting a glass of wine. Great place for a gathering !!! read more

Went there for a quick bite before going to a distillery tasting nearby. While my friends enjoyed the alcohol, the food left a lot to be desired. It's a large place, with a few old boardgames for tables (not a great selection and missing parts). Plenty of seating, a state for performances and a large screen for sport games and music videos. Nice environment, not the good really ruins the total experience. Dog friendly which is nice, cans for the sodas which is not great for someone who doesn't drink alcohol as you can't get free refills at least while everyone is ordering beer after beer. The tacos had ready made tortillas which felt like they were a week old, the nachos looked like they were yesterday's leftovers that were referred, or poorly made microwave nachos. I can see people going there for just a drink, but I would recommend getting food here unless you are really hungry and just have to have a bite with your drink. Large brewery right in Central Pawtucket that is in our usual brewery rotation. The beers are definitely good quality and they often have really good food trucks visiting including a lobster food truck from Maine. The place is very spacious and there's tons of seating indoors and outdoors. My main complaint, and why we don't frequent this place as much as others, is that it's very dog friendly and sometimes gets a little crazy with lots of dogs and kids running around. It's much more family oriented, so if you're looking for someplace that's more of a date place, I'd recommend Rhode Island Spirits, which is a much more chill, mellow and relaxed environment. read more

Went to the Guild for a vendor market and although I wasn't in the main brewery part, my review is based on the service I received when ordering a single mimosa from the Barn bartender, and Karen the Manager. I wish I remembered the other woman's name but both were VERY nice and the mimosa was delish! With a limited menu, there's an opportunity to really make each menu item the best it can be but that doesn't seem to be happening. Menu says nachos come with beer cheese sauce but they don't. First of all we had a great afternoon there. We have had multiple gatherings here on many occasions in the past and never had an issue. There Was about 20 of us throughout the day Around 530/6 for whatever reason on football Sunday they have trivia which sure fine. However the host of trivia was a complete and total jerk. No one came and talked to us that the 6 of us we were being "too loud" the host came over and started raising his voice and talking down to us and kicked us out for no reason. Had they approached us and said hey you're being a little loud sure no problem but I have never been treated like this at any establishment. Not to mention one of the bar tenders running up and down the bar screaming there's a baby at the bar. Last time I checked thought they were kid friendly apparently not. Mind you there were other children there and my son was sitting on his father's lap not bothering anyone. We will never be going back and just a PSA don't bring your children to this brewery. Came on a Sunday Afternoon and it was fairly quite. Had a good selection of beers and some seltzer. They do sell a lot of beer so some of my favorites were not available on tap. Beers do switch up frequently. Large beer hall with many different tables and a bar with about 15 seats are available. The have a huge screen with the game on during various times. We went on a Saturday evening. When we got there they had live entertainment. It was busy but not too busy that you couldn't find somewhere to sit. If you are a dog lover it is dog friendly and the dogs that were there were well behaved and on leashes. They do have food for those who like to snack while sampling beer. What helped us is they are kid friendly also. We had two pretzels one with cheese and one with salt and we asked for beer cheese for dipping. We attended their 7th anniversary brewery tour, conducted by one of the co-owners, Jeremy Duffy. He explained that when they started their business, there were 3200 plus micro breweries in America, so they had to find their niche. In addition to their tap house, which serves fresh beers to the discriminating Rhode Island beer enthusiasts, they have partnered with a number of local smaller breweries and corporate partners, to produce their beers as well. These include the Sons of Liberty and their corporate partnership with BJ's as well as providing a distillery space for Rhode Island Spirits (Rhodium liquors) and as sponsors for the local stadium. In addition, they do their own canning and kegging, with their current kegging production currently at 42,000 kegs but with a capacity that exceeds a 100,000 kegs as the needs require. Then we enjoyed their locally produced Pulp Daddy with live music in their busy tap house. Their adjacent building, The Barn, is a venue for community events, including arts & crafts fairs and weddings. The tap house allows for both dogs and non- drinking children. read more

We went for the first Pawtucket farmers market of the season - small selection of vendors. Live music and sunshine were 5 stars! Food is just okay here. The real bummer was the limited supply of non-beers and no cider option. Ordered a pineapple hard seltzer for me and the hubby got a cosmo on tap that tasted like cough medicine. The server made a comment about why people go to a brewery and expect something other than beer. Clearly he's not from the cool Pacific Northwest where ciders are a HUGE part of the brewery scene. I have not been to the actual location, however, we did have a chance to try The Guild at the pop up location located at the end of the pedestrian bridge in Providence. My husband and I tried the strawberry rhubarb hard seltzer. It was so good! The people serving it were also super nice and informative. I like the location and the fact that there's ample parking, but of you're not into IPAs, this place ain't it. There wasn't much to choose from if you're not into IPAs. I finally made a choice, and the beer was totally flat. No effervesence whatsoever. The pretzels were tasty though. The music was good too. A good place to hang out with friends. It's dog-friendly but I wish it wasn't. I got head-butted in the back of the knee twice by a dog and nearly lost my balance both times. Hubby & I are doing RI Food Fights inaugural #BigLeBREWski - 24 pours or tastings at different breweries around Rhode Island for the entire month of March (a steal for $25 = one set of coupons). I tried the Handline - a Kolsch by Devil's Purse. Hubby tried Apricity by The Guild - "the warmth of sun in the winter" with flavors of coffee, chocolate and brown sugar. I was curious about the Ken's Famous Apple Pie seltzer by The Guild. I didn't have super high hopes but I was totally wrong. IT IS FRICKIN' AWESOME!!!!!! It smells like an apple pie just out of the oven. WOW! Then you try it - perfectly balanced, not too sweet, great hint of cinnamon, light effervescence. You could definitely drink more than one and be a happy camper. Hubby also tried Bayley Street by The Guild - light lager, crisp with low bitterness that makes it highly drinkable. The bartenders were super chill and answered a bunch of questions. Space is awesome. Beers and the absolutely unique Ken's Famous Apple Pie seltzer are worth going back for again! Had a great time here last night for a wedding. Didn't get to spend much time in the main building but the annex was very nice. Old factory that has exposed wood ceiling beams with brick walls. In the back they have a sliding barn type door that served as a dramatic entrance for the bride and groom. The staff was very nice and this is a great place to hold an event. read more

The Guild is a consortium of several brewers - from once-local but now national Narragansett to I've never-heard-of-them Farmer Willie's Ginger Beer. We had 2 flights and tasted all 8 varieties on tap. The hoppy IPA is never my favorite, and a few of those are in the mix. But holy moly that ginger beer! The space is lovely, in a large old mill with a gravel path from the parking area to the tap room. There's significant space on the second floor screaming out for pool tables, pinball, air hockey and/or ping ping tables. At ground level, the bar area is small, but really comfy. There's a super-small retail space by the door, and a patio with picnic tables and some corn hole & other throwing games. The one food truck parked out back today had great barbecue, but we need more traditional chips, pretzels and salty nuts too! I love the souvenir glasses, designed to look just like cans, with the choice of all black or black and orange Guild labels. So clever! A fun place to spend an hour or so, and definitely to bring friends. read more

I would have given ZERO stars if allowed. I was there this past Sunday for a poker run honoring my mother who passed away a year ago from cancer. We brought 20+ people to an establishment that was DEAD at the time. One of the bartenders was fine. The other one was AWFUL, she was rude to people in my party and also threatened to kick me out because my toddler made it TWO steps into the "kitchen" area before I could grab him. TWO STEPS. She made rude comments stating "you really need to watch your kid" and "you don't want me to have to kick you out". Mind you, 20+ adults were watching my toddler. He wasn't left unattended for even a second the entire time we were in there. I told my husband and father in law what had happened and we decided to end our run at this stop earlier due to the way we were being treated. The Guild missed out on 20+ people getting another round all because the bartender didn't know how to talk to people. The true definition of unprofessional. While my father in law was paying the tab the rude bartender then decided to record him "for the owner" but also recorded my husband and my toddler in the same video. It's wildly suspicious to record SOMEONE ELSES toddler for your own personal use. Overall I wouldn't recommend The Guild to my worst enemy. Breweries are supposed to be "kid friendly" and The Guild isn't friendly at all. To anyone. read more

Oh man! Another brewery! And not just any brewery a whole bunch all in the same place! We went to The Guild for a party and had a great time! They had 8 beers on tap, a nice little bar setup, corn hole and laughs on demand! The regular tap room has more games and things to do. Staff was great, cheery, helpful and knowledgeable about the beer they had on tap! The only thing that really bothered us was that on our way out the lady grabbed a "crowler" (30oz can they use instead of and actual growler bottle) of the beer she enjoyed, getting the beer was fine however the cans leak and make a mess as they don't quite seal up right.
