    Mussels appetizer! Delicious.

The view couldn't be more spectacular from the dining room at Raven's Perch. Mussels were delicious and their breakfast buffet was very good. Dinner was solid. The breakfast buffet was much more than expected for an "included" breakfast. Our server Leida was very friendly and attentive as well.

Salmon with hash, Brussels sprouts and risotto

Excellent food. I had the salmon with Brussels and risotto. It was absolutely breathtaking enjoying a local beer while looking out at the mountains and watching tour helicopters flying in and out of the landing pads near the restaurant. High quality service as well with attentive staff.

The place was small but it's not busy season yet so we were seated quickly and the food was served in a reasonable amount of time. I read another review that said the place smelled like smoke, and while it did smell a little like fry oil, I feel like the smell went away and the food and company far outweighed any odd smells. We had the mussels, crab legs, salmon dip, grilled halibut, stuffed mushrooms and Cesar salad. It was all great!

While choking at the bar from all the grill smoke, I could see directly into the kitchen area, and I noticed what appeared to be a pile of dirty towels with flies fighting in the air over them. Seeing that made the dining environment feel less clean than I expected and significantly reduced my appetite. After this first trigger, I started looking around and noticed food crumbs, a rotten lemon wedge, and just trash in various places across the floor. I also observed personal unsanitary behavior from the manager that I felt was unprofessional in a food-service setting. (Pulled a wedgie with such aggression that I thought he was in extreme pain and then went to go grab 2 pounds of crab legs without washing his hands.) I think his name is Michael? Because of what I saw, I left with extreme concerns about the restaurant's cleanliness standards and overall attention to presentation. Based on my experience, I would not choose to dine here nor would I recommend anyone that has self respect to do the same either.

Hey there friends! We had an amazing dinner at the Glacier Brew house. Before I start, I will say…read morethat it didn't start off on the right foot due to some issues with the people at the front reception. Besides this, everything else was great so I did not deduct any stars. Let me explain. We were a party of 4 and just arriving from NY, we were hungry. We walked in at about 4:30-4:45. We asked for a table for 4. We were told the wait will be over an hour. They asked if we would like to sit at the bar area, same food and probably would get service quicker. I said sure. We both want to look for a table and there were none, so I just told the staff that we will go to the bar area and wait while having a drink. We were given a buzzer. We came across a Maria bar table with a nice couple sitting there, and 2 open seats. I asked if we could sit there and they said of course. They then Deb moved over 2 seats arguing gave us 4 seats. I was do thankful for them being so nice that I picked up their bar tab. I noticed that the dining area has at least 5 open tables for 4 and 1 for 6+. I went up to the desk and told them this. I was told they were fit reservations and I couldn't have a table. Long story short, 45 min went guy and there were still open tables, I E's not happy and let them know. By this time though, our waiter Marco cans over to us and said he would take care of us, which he did. I told the front desk to forget our table and have them the buzzer back. ** My review starts*** Marco was a great waiter taking excellent care of us. We had a great time with Marco and our new friends next to us. I ordered the halibut stuffed with crab which was outstanding. My wife ordered the salmon which was delicious as well, I particularly enjoyed the crispy skin of the salmon, yum!!! Our friends ordered the fried calamari which he enjoyed and his wife had the salmon over a Ceaser salad. To finish it off, I had to get the lava cake for dessert.....hey, why not, I'm in vacation lol! Everything was great, the food delicious, Super Marco s the best!!! Great service and a great time. Just a shame it didn't start off on the right foot. Lesson: make a reservation!!!!!

These are the real slow cooked grits not the out of a box quickie grits. Shrimp, slivers of andouille, and an egg (it says with bacon but I did not notice any). Marvelous flavors. Will do again. Carolyn had the brick oven tomato and mozzarella cheese pizza and love it. The bar had a little trouble with my drink, a Rusty Nail, but in they got it right Food is good and well prepared. Service can be a bit slow but then it was very busy. Lots of staff just busy. Great rustic interior with wood beams and open floor plan. Booths on the left for the restaurant (Reservations highly suggested). Bar and seating on the right with tables and some small booths. One TV (thank you), it was turned to a poker competition.

We had Roman as our server twice during our stay, and he was incredible--super friendly, funny, attentive, and made every meal so enjoyable. The lodge itself is wonderful, and all of the girls were so kind, welcoming, and attentive. Everyone here truly makes you feel like family from the moment you arrive. Of course, the owners, Derrick and Janine, are some of the kindest, most genuine people you'll meet. Their warmth and hospitality shine through in every part of the experience. This is such a family-friendly place filled with happiness, laughter, and positive energy. It's a beautiful place to relax, make memories, and enjoy amazing food with people who genuinely care. I was really disappointed in the food though - I got chips and salsa because I wasn't that hungry. The chips didn't come with any dipping sauce (for 7 bucks, it seems like it should) - that was charged separately, for an additional 3 bucks. Okay fine --- I had a craving so was willing to pay it... but then it arrived - 15 chips and the tiniest dressing-sized container of salsa... for $10?! Just nuts. The chips are supposedly "house made," but lacked any flavor (needed more seasoning/salt). Just wanted others to avoid my mistake - get something else because this isn't even half an appetizer.
