I also observed personal unsanitary behavior from the manager that I felt was unprofessional in a food-service setting. (Pulled a wedgie with such aggression that I thought he was in extreme pain and then went to go grab 2 pounds of crab legs without washing his hands.) I think his name is Michael? Because of what I saw, I left with extreme concerns about the restaurant's cleanliness standards and overall attention to presentation. It comes on a soft, slightly sweet potato bun with a sweet-and-spicy aioli and a slaw-style topping instead of plain lettuce, which adds great flavor and texture. I also ordered a small fry, and "small" is a little misleading in the best possible way. The portion was huge--easily the size of a large fry at most restaurants. If you're thinking about ordering a large, be prepared to share. I've heard great things about the reubens, but honestly, it's the chicken sandwich that keeps bringing me back. The fact that it's only available seasonally makes it even harder to wait for summer every year. If you see this sandwich on the menu, do yourself a favor and order it. You won't regret it.

We asked for a table for 4. We were told the wait will be over an hour. They asked if we would like to sit at the bar area, same food and probably would get service quicker. I said sure. We both want to look for a table and there were none, so I just told the staff that we will go to the bar area and wait while having a drink. We were given a buzzer. We came across a Maria bar table with a nice couple sitting there, and 2 open seats. I asked if we could sit there and they said of course. They then Deb moved over 2 seats arguing gave us 4 seats. I was do thankful for them being so nice that I picked up their bar tab. I noticed that the dining area has at least 5 open tables for 4 and 1 for 6+. I went up to the desk and told them this. I was told they were fit reservations and I couldn't have a table. Long story short, 45 min went guy and there were still open tables, I E's not happy and let them know. By this time though, our waiter Marco cans over to us and said he would take care of us, which he did. I told the front desk to forget our table and have them the buzzer back. ** My review starts*** Marco was a great waiter taking excellent care of us. We had a great time with Marco and our new friends next to us. I ordered the halibut stuffed with crab which was outstanding. Of course, the owners, Derrick and Janine, are some of the kindest, most genuine people you'll meet. Their warmth and hospitality shine through in every part of the experience. The chips are supposedly "house made," but lacked any flavor (needed more seasoning/salt). Just wanted others to avoid my mistake - get something else because this isn't even half an appetizer.
