Nice little breakfast spot which I believe was a bar in a previous life. I'm big on a good breakfast and I tend to lean more favorably towards savory rather than sweet when it comes to breakfast. Raves delivers in that regard. Their omelettes are good but I they aren't the fluffy type which I prefer but tasty regardless. My mushroom and Swiss omelette was packed with mushrooms and the grits were point on. All this with friendly service. Definitely recommend.

2x2x2 on the menu - scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, grits, with a side of fruit.

My in-laws recommended Rave's, so we decided to try it while we were in town. It's a small space, that had a very locals vibe to it. The food itself was good, but the service was poor. Once they dropped off our food, nobody checked on us to provide refills of coffee, water, etc., or to see if we wanted anything else. With so many breakfast spots in town, we will likely try a few others before returning.

Nice little diner with good local restaurant vibe. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, good food and reasonable prices. Slightly "smaller" menu than most breakfast/lunch/brunch prices but we had almost everything on the menu and all of our plates were clean.

Family owned. Never disappoints. Extremely friendly and quick servers. Food arrival is really quick once ordered.

Great cozy spot for a good breakfast! Loved the banana Carmel pancakes! Service was spot on and very welcoming! Nice hidden gem!

Great breakfast, service etc. Fast hot cooked to perfection. They use real not frozen potatoes.

Omega pancake house is right around the corner from our condo and they didn't look super busy yet. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated at a 4 top for a party of 2. When our waitress Theresa came to take our drink order, we were also already ready to place our meal order. We ordered a coffee, 2 freshly squeezed orange juice, Blueberry ricotta waffle with bacon, and a side of scrambled eggs and cheese. We also ordered sweet potato pancakes, eggs over medium, and hash brown. The waffle was delicious with fresh blueberries and blueberry syrup. My mom LOVED her sweet potato pancakes with homemade cinnamon butter. The bad... some of the food was obviously precooked early in the morning. I understand that this is a vacation destination so they want to get people in and out fast and remaking popular sides makes it more efficient to turn tables but I'm very disappointed. Almost $7 for a side of bacon that was absolutely inedible. It was as chewy as a dog treat. The scrambled eggs also taste like a hotel continental breakfast... premade and my cheese was just sprinkled on top. The eggs weren't even hot enough to melt the cheese like they have been sitting prior to turning them into scrambled eggs and cheese. The hash brown again, tasted like it was precooked early that morning and just slapped on the plate when they received our ticket. The only thing hot and fresh were the pancakes and waffle. Everything else was a disappointment. We ordered a Greek burrito to go and my boyfriend said it tasted alright. Our server was lovely but we probably won't be back if we are ever in the mood for breakfast again. Hopefully we can find somewhere that provides made to order during the rest of our trip. Also the orange juice is NOT fresh squeezed and they overcharge you. Highway Robbery and dishonest. I'm editing my review after having the best experience at Golden Egg where the food is fresh and the menu is true to what you receive!

We were the only four in the place. It took an inordinate amount of time for us to get our food. Others came in after us, sat at the bar, got their food and drinks long before we did. They're just seemed to be a disconnect between us, our server and the kitchen. Several times our drinks were left sitting on the bar and one time my sister-in-law had to go up and get it. If you don't mind slow service or bad service this is a place for you. I gave it three stars because the food was great.

Our must-order starters are the fried Brussels sprouts and the pimento cheese and chip dip. Wish there was more consistency in the tortilla chips as the restaurant made ones with honey dusting are superior to their store bought version. For mains, the smothered chicken is the standout. We much prefer it over the bone-in fried chicken--the pieces are juicier and more flavorful compared to the fried large bone-in chicken breast, which can be a bit less exciting. Go for the hot honey bird if you want a kick. The biscuits are a bit dry and A-OK - the butter and jam makes it taste better. If you're in the mood for something sweet with cinnamon and fall/winter spices, then sweet potato pancakes is a good option. The best value is coming during happy hour, though the offerings change periodically, so it's worth checking what's available. The restaurant is located right in the heart of Market Common, with free street parking and nearby lots, making it an easy and enjoyable stop overall.
