I've been seeing Dr. Oosterbaan for a few years and after my last visit I'll never return. Over the…read morelast two years, my weight gain has been a huge pain point for me. Last year, when Dr. Oosterbaan brought it up during my annual appt, she was fairly understanding and made some good recommendations. Fast forward to this year and my weight came up again and she basically encouraged me to develop an eating disorder if I wanted to lose weight... She suggested I skip breakfast, eat three hard boiled eggs for lunch, and have plain grilled chicken on top of a bed of plain lettuce for dinner. And if I wanted a snack at all during the day to have a cheese stick. She also said that peanut butter and nuts are too caloric, and that I should never eat those. And forget about carbs! She said pasta and bread are a huge no no (even in moderation) and that she never eats carbs. What was I supposed to say? Congratulations on depriving yourself of tasty foods? She was also super abrasive and rude when she said she wouldn't write me a prescription for Ozempic (which, I never asked for one and wasn't planning on asking for it!) She brought it up on her own. I've never left an appointment feeling so horrible about myself, but there's a first time for everything and thanks to Dr. Oosterbaan, that's exactly how I felt. If this is how she treats someone who isn't considered "overweight", I'm scared to imagine how she treats someone who is. Two and a half weeks later and I'm still disgusted by this conversation. I'll find someone else who treats their patients with respect and understanding, which you won't get with her.

He has been reprimanded by a medicial review board and faced disciplinary action for overprescribing. In particular, he likes to prescibe Amphetamines, because he seems to believe that a majority of his patients have ADHD. I do not have ADHD, however he pushed multiple additive stimulants on me. In addition, he can be very rude if questioned about his practice. He told me to shut up during a number of office visits. In addition, he tried to preach to me and convert during several office visits. He would begin by asking me if I believed in god. Then tried to convert me to his religion. Doctors are not supposed to do this in a medical office. Someone in a position of authority should investigate this man's practice. All I can do is warn you to stay away.

Read on for more. I have been seeing Dr Nikki Allen as my primary care provider for a few years. On a couple of occasions Dr Nikki has been booked up when I needed an appointment so I've seen Dr Tim Allen. Although, he's primary an Addiction Specialist, he also serves as a General Practitioner. These two people are not only excellent, professional, caring doctors, who go way above and beyond for their patients, but they also serve and give so much of themselves in their community, especially to those in need, in a real, sincere, tangible way! I happened to be looking up the link to their website for a new friend who is looking for a new doctor (as I've referred others who have been beyond satisfied, btw) and came across this review . It grieves my heart and makes me angry to see them and their livelihood slandered in such an egregious manner. Therefore, I felt compelled to set the record straight. I could sit and type an entire dictation of what was said and done between this woman and the Allens, and between her and the police officers, but nobody wants to read that so I will try and sum it up. At NO time did Dr Timothy Allen raise his voice, let alone start "yelling" at this woman. Neither did his son, who happens to be one of his receptions. Both spoke so softly and calmly that I was in awe! Dr Tim never came anywhere close enough to put his hands in her face. He acted professionally the entire time. She became more and more unruly. He had every right to call on the police department. It is private property and she was creating unrest and upsetting other patients. You wouldn't allow that in your home, would you? When she finally realized she wasn't going to get her way, she decided to claim racism. Not only was their not one racist word uttered nor implied by the Allens, but I've got news for you, my VERY WHITE friend was ALSO dismissed as a patient by Dr Allen for very similar reasons and he had been a patient for most of his life! Again, I could go on but I don't think it's necessary. Every slanderous claim that this woman made is a falsehood-- made up out of whole cloth. I also witnessed every interaction between her and the police officers. Again, those conversations didn't go anything like she claims. They said the opposite of what she claims, that Dr Allen "wrongly called them." They told her that he had every right to do so. They certainly did NOT come in "hot ready to attack" her. She has falsely slandered them as well. Finally, you don't have to believe my account. I encourage you to check them out for yourselves if you're in the market for a new doctor!

I personally under appreciated Dr Pryba because I didn't have anyone to compare him with. I never had insurance and obviously procrastinated it wheb I had it so now that I dont have him as a PCP I value his way to help me manage my health. Since day one he addressed my concerns and was sensitive about my concerns. I don't remember having a lot of tests / screening before him but I'm glad my insurance was really good because this allowed me to have a better control of my health. With Dr Pryba and his follow ups I was able to manage my cholesterol to normal levels. He is very knowledgeable and explains thoroughly about everything. Since Prohealth and other clinics/hospitals have joined "MyChart" I find it extremely easy to communicate, set up appointments, and get test results. I have been going to Prohealth for a very long time. The thing that keeps us coming back all this time is the dedication of our primary care physician. A big shout out to Dr. Daniel Cheng. He's friendly, helpful and professional. Never fails to call the next day to check on us, or give us test results. The rest of the staff have always been friendly and helpful. This includes the receptionists, nurses, and support staff. Once I arrive, I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes.
