    Sausage Deep Dish

Really wish there was room to leave a 4.5 review. This is one of the better Italian dining experiences in town. I ordered the deep dish 9" pizza - sausage. I managed 3/4 slices, but you could probably split it between two people. It's not Lou Malnattis good, but it definitely did the trick for the craving. The service was great the whole time. Very clean as well.

Great Italian , good service as well. Table of 6 and we all had something different. Tried the mushroom app & peppers & sausage apps- yum. Reasonable price & large quantity of Food. I had the lasagna and loved it

Ravioli Marsala Florentine and salad with red wine vinaigrette.

My first time trying this restaurant was on Sunday, 23 January with a group of girlfriends. The atmosphere was nice and our server was amazing. We kicked off our dinner with Calamari and a lovely bottle of Moscato. The calamari was crispy and juicy, dipping sauce was really nice. The Moscato was nice and sweet with a little fizz--highly recommend! Before the main course came the salad. I choose the creamy garlic dressing, one of the dressings made in-house. Honestly, the dressing was that spectacular even though it came highly recommended but it was still good. For the main course, I ordered the Tilapia Parmesan. I highly don't recommend! It tasted as unappealing as it looked. The tilapia was bland and drowning in an equally as bland "Parmesan" and mushroom sauce. Even the added Parmesan I let our server place on top and the side of lemon slices didn't help. For dessert, I ordered a Cannoli. The shell was nice and crunchy and the filling wasn't too sweet. I wasn't a big fan of the large amount of filling covered in chocolate chips spilling g out of the side, but I'm also not a huge dessert person and still liked it nonetheless. As a bonus to myself, I ordered another entree to go. I had the Ravioli Marsala Florentine and the red wine vinaigrette (made in-house) for the salad. Again, the main entrée was disappointing. It was bland and greasy, and it had an subtle, but noticeable, unpleasant sweetness (I'm going to assume it's from the Marsala wine used). The vinaigrette was also pretty oily but the tang from the red wine vinegar was pronounced and I did enjoy it. Overall, I had a good experience and would visit again. I definitely would like to try another appetizer and wine from them. As for the main course, I think I'll try a tomato-based sauce dish.

My co-traveler was eating light and went with the soup of the day, minestrone. We both were surprised at the color of the broth, expecting something tomato-y, but it was light in color -- and judged "very good." Next, a Honey Roasted Beet & Arugula salad. It was sooo pretty, but the recipient compared it to a wedge salad, in that the separate ingredients were pretty, but if I wanted to make my own salad, I would've eaten at home. Chicken Pietro sounded interesting, and was. The order was huge -- grilled chicken and portobello mushrooms in a honey mustard balsamic sauce. The sauce looked like gravy, but dont be fooled! It was a nice sauce, but maybe a little too strongly acidic with the balsamic. The sauteed vegetables and mashed potatoes were delish. Finally, key lime pie to go. I had sold my companion on this, telling her "our" Biaggis had divine key lime pie. Alas, there was no comparison. Granted, getting desert to go means no comparisons based on looks, but this wasnt even (a wedge of) pie. It was a tart with a honey-almond biscotti crust, not the standard graham cracker. It was nice, but I didnt LOVE it. The macerated berries added nothing, and the toasted marshmallow cream was a small drizzled compared to a (necessary) mile-high whipped cream topping to offset that face-puckering lime filling. Overall, an OK dessert, not a great one. If I returned to Davenport, I could see eating here, but next time, it's cheesecake! Service was good, and the place was hopping -- even on a Monday! Its light, and bright and really nice.
