I went to the dealership yesterday because my tire pressure was low on my left rear tire. After an hour, they came back and said I had a slow leak due to a nail and they could only REPLACE it for $507. I said no thanks and walked right out. (My car is 60 days old w/ brand new tires soooo no). Fast forward to this morning at 9:30 am. I drive up to Smyrna Tire, park, jump out and tell them what I was told. They said they'd check pressure on all and see if they can patch the hole. Great! Welp. They actually found 1 nail in my left rear and 2 nails in my right rear tire. (Either I have enemies or I need to watch how I drive cause sheesh). On top of being thankful, I'm impressed and grateful. Had I bought the replacement tire, I would've had to turn around and buy another one days later PLUS I'm hella disappointed that after sitting on their lift for an hour and doing the extra ridiculous soapy test, BMW couldn't see that I had multiple nails across both tires. Anywho. In case you're still thinking of going somewhere else for any of your tire issues. Don't. I've found my forever shop and I'm positive I won't need to go anywhere else. Side note: I've been here for about 40 minutes and my car is almost done. Yay! There's also a very steady flow of customers and they are getting them in and out as much as they can.

They used a satin finish that didn't match the finish of my other wheels. The tech actually claimed he "matched the center cap," which is a different material and color than the wheel face, and told me the paint "needed time in the sun" to change texture. Safety Issue: After the second attempt, the paint chipped immediately, causing a leaky tire. When I called to report this, the receptionist said chipping paint wouldn't cause a leak, which isn't accurate when the chip is on the bead seat. Avoidance & Dishonesty: I called on Monday and was told the manager, Sylvester, would call me back. I waited a full day and never heard a word. I eventually had to call corporate just to get the GM Sal's number to get any movement. The Interaction: When I finally went in for a refund, I ended up speaking directly to Sylvester. He claimed he never called me back because he was "working nights," even though the staff had confirmed he was on-site during the day when I originally called. I accepted the refund because I no longer trust this shop's honesty or technical ability. If you have a high-end vehicle or aftermarket wheels, save yourself the headache and go to a specialist who actually knows what they are doing.

Because the vehicle is a Mercedes, I will have to take it to a qualified shop to have the tire stem properly repaired or replaced. This means I will incur an additional cost for a problem that I believe occurred while my vehicle was in your care, on top of the service charge I already agreed to and paid. I request that you review this matter and consider a reasonable resolution, such as a partial refund or reimbursement toward the necessary repair.

1-STAR REVIEW -- BE VERY CAREFUL DEALING WITH THIS SHOP…read more DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE PRESSURED INTO PAYING FOR SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR. I came to this shop because it was advertised as being open 24 hours, and I needed a tire repaired. Before arriving, I was told the price to plug my tire would be $15. Simple enough--I had a screw in the tire and specifically wanted it plugged. Once I arrived, the experience completely changed. There was little to no customer service, no proper greeting, and very little communication. After looking at my tire, instead of simply performing the repair I was quoted, they began trying to convince me that I needed to purchase a different tire. When I refused because I knew exactly what service I was requesting, the price for the plug suddenly started changing. They went from the original $15 quote to trying to charge me an amount that was getting dangerously close to the price of a used replacement tire. At that point, it became very obvious to me that the goal was no longer to provide the $15 repair I was quoted--it was to pressure me into spending more money. For the record, I am a mechanic myself, and I know the difference between a tire that can legitimately be repaired and one that cannot. I also understand when a tire should NOT be plugged or repaired. I wasn't asking them to perform an unsafe repair. I was asking them to provide the service they originally quoted me for. Then things got even worse. When I continued pushing back, the owner walked away and began manipulating the screw that was already in my tire, seemingly attempting to alter the situation and make the puncture appear worse than it originally was. I immediately told him to stop. I was not going to stand there and allow someone to manipulate my property in an attempt to justify charging me more money. I told them to stop the games, put my tire and rim back on my vehicle, and I would gladly take my business somewhere else. And that's exactly what I did. I drove approximately four minutes to another tire shop, explained exactly what happened, and they repaired the tire for the ORIGINAL $15 PRICE I was quoted. So no, this wasn't a situation where the tire simply couldn't be repaired. Another shop immediately completed the repair for the exact amount I was originally told. That experience completely destroyed my confidence in this business. CONSUMERS: PAY ATTENTION If you're going here, get the price in writing before they touch your vehicle or your tires. Don't allow anyone to pressure you into buying something you didn't come there to purchase. And if the price suddenly changes after they have your vehicle in the bay, stop and reconsider. A reputable business should be able to: Honor the price they quoted you. Clearly explain why a repair cannot be performed if that's genuinely the case. Give you the option to leave without manipulating your property. Treat customers with basic courtesy and professionalism. Be transparent about pricing instead of changing the price once the customer is already there. I gave this business an opportunity to earn my money and potentially become a place I could recommend to other people. Instead, they lost my business permanently. I went somewhere else, got the exact repair I originally requested, and paid the exact $15 I was quoted. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before spending money here, especially if you're being pressured into purchasing a tire when you originally came in for a simple repair. My experience was extremely disappointing, and based on what happened to me, I will never return to this shop. 1 star because zero stars wasn't an option.
