My husband and daughter both took their cars there on a Sunday. Husband only needed a tune up and my daughter got a whole set of tires on hers. They always want to call not long after you've dropped the vehicle off with some type of upcharge. It's always you need this, that and then some. We get our vehicles serviced on the regular, so they shouldn't need more work done to them. There's a lot of new faces around, and it doesn't seem as if they know what they're doing. I was more confident when a manager name Jason used to be there, him and his crew were solid it seemed like. It's like you can't just drop it off for a regular oil change without them calling saying you need this and that done. Don't get me wrong, I understand certain services are needed, but every single time it's something else. They also don't go over the work that was done to your vehicle. Just hand you the bill and let you swipe your card. I will most definitely be looking elsewhere to have our vehicles serviced. This location has gone down hill from what we're used to.

I nor my husband called parkway towing/wrecker service after an accident November 2024. I have AAA…read moreand contacted them before going to the accident scene. I informed the driver from parkway and he not only refused to stop and allow the people I called to handle my vehicle but also refused to take my vehicle where I wanted it to go. We live less than half a mile from the accident location and requested the vehicle be taken to our house. There was a pistol in the car that we made prior arrangements with parkway to place in their safe upon arrival of the vehicle until we could secure transportation to retrieve it. I had the pistol with me on my walk to the accident scene and placed it in the glovebox as we had made plans to go to the hospital where it would not have been allowed. The driver with parkway was informed. The car was/is involved in a federal investigation due to possible non deployment of the air bags and recalls concerning such. I was told at the time the car would be safe and to take as long as needed to complete the investigation by an authorized representative from parkway. The car was placed in an "out of the way" area for that specific reason. My husband went by parkway and Mr grubbs informed him he wasn't allowed on the property after Mr grubbs threatened to crush the car before the investigation had taken place. He also quoted a ridiculously inflated storage fee after we had been assured of the cars safe keeping. Needless to say my husband and I weren't happy. Mr grubbs has made no attempt to contact me although he had my mailing address ( as indicated by the simple fact papers were served to my address) and I had notified him of my phone number. We attempted to contact Mr grubbs on numerous occasions however I never received a response. I have call logs with proof of attempts to speak with Mr grubbs and/or an authorized representative from parkway. Even the insurance company had difficulty reaching Mr grubbs. From November 2024 to today's date of April 14, 2026 we have received one (1) return call from Mr grubbs. Parkway is now suing me even though the department of justice has still not completed their investigation.

They were timely; I only had to wait about 45 minutes on a Sunday night, and they came when they were estimated to. We talked about the car and he tried to jump it (I was pretty sure that wouldn't work but you never know). We discussed bringing car June 2, 2026 at 7:30, my car would be 1st in the bay. I had my car there before opening, put key in drop box. At approximately 8:15 am I get a text message from Josh that the guy who does this type of work is on vacation and would not be back until next week did I want to schedule for next week. I responded (in summary), no, I should have been made aware of this the day before, I could have chosen another auto mechanic. Long story as short as I can make it. I go to pick up my vehicle and Josh tells me I sent you another message that I was working on getting some other help to do the repairs. They are willing to help me out. I said I just want my key to my vehicle. I took my vehicle to another location, the diagnostic was totally different, the time frame was totally different and lastly over $500.00 cheaper. Parrish Tire is a ripe off. Trying to charge me over $700.00 for over 3.5 hrs worth of work that was unnecessary. I got the job done for less than $220.00. SERIOUSLY...God stepped in, showed me where my ram in the bush was. BEWARE!!!! I can't say it was because I am a female, it's the nature of world we are living in. People better repent, God is soon to return and you will hear... depart from me.....the repair of my vehicle was less than 1.5. We are not talking $5, but over $500.00 savings. WHY? I was scheduled to take a long trip the next morning, so the information was very valuable. When I returned to Winston-Salem, I very badly needed four new tires. I was told to call as I was leaving work the next afternoon, to let them know I was on my way. I did, the tires arrived, and they put them on. When they were finished, I was given diagrams and a list of what they did, WHY they did it, which is Great, and all kinds of other info that I needed to know.
