We had a minor incident with our Tesla and needed repairs paid for through Geico. If you have a Tesla, and you have Geico, there's really no need to consider any other shop. They made the process working with Geico extremely simple, when it could've easily been a super complicated. They were very friendly, and were helpful answering questions before I even arrived. They also happened to be partnered with budget rental car, which Geico is affiliated with. When I dropped off my car, there was already someone waiting for me to drive me to budget. It didn't take more than five days for our car to be repaired, and I was able to leave the rental car at Ray Mees for their staff to return. They also vacuumed and cleaned the inside of the car, so it was spotless. It looked like they washed and waxed the outside of our car. I was really happy with this extra service. I came by to get an estimate for some damage that other body shops had quoted me $2,500 (or more) for. Chris took a look, said "hold on a sec, I might just be able to buff it out", came back with a buffing tool and a couple of minutes later the most of the damage was gone. No charge. What was left wasn't worth fixing. A lot of headache gone for a minor collision. If I ever have to get work done in the future, this will be the first place I come to. read more

Truly so grateful to Chris, Alison, and the Ray Mees team. Beginning with finding out my options to get my Tesla fixed, the entire process was smooth. A car slammed into me, and although I had the option to get it fixed at a closer Tesla approved body shop, after speaking with Alison on the phone, I felt compelled to go to Ray Mees. She took the extra time to walk me through all my options and was so empathetic about my situation. I, therefore, felt confident having her and Chris' team fix our car. This is the first time I've required work on my car, if I can help it I would never go to another shop. The quality of work on my tsla MY is top notch, you wouldn't know that the car has ever been in an accident from looking at it. The body work was done but there was a non related electrical alert from Tesla. Chris had a trip planned to Italy and kept in touch while abroad to make sure Tesla fixed the issue. I got into a small fender bender a few months back and worked through my insurance to have my car fixed at this location. I will say that the work on the car was GREAT however the customer service here is HORRIBLE !! The woman who manages the front desk answers the phone, puts you on hold without letting you speak or saying anything and then you'll be on hold for another 10 minutes give or take. Then when she does answer and you try to ask questions she only gives you one word answers. It's on you, the customer, to probe and push to get more information to understand the status of your car when it'll be ready where to pick it up. I recently reached out to them to get a quote on my car and the woman just told me that they're booked at the moment. I had to continue to ask questions to understand what that means. I asked her verbatim "so what does that mean?" She says "just call back sometime next week", I ask "ok, should I call back on Monday?" She says "yeah we are understaffed right now because of the storm". I say ok and hang up. I am truly empathetic to any business being effected by the recent storm, however my issue is the customer service by this woman. I had the same challenges with her when I got my car serviced the first time. This could've been a 90 sec call "thank you for thinking of us for your car services. We are currently a bit understaffed and are working through some issues caused by the recent storm. If your repair is not urgent (ie simple body work), can you gives us a back early next week and we will have a better view into our capacity." Something like that... it's an easy fix read more

Someone rear ended my Audi and I decided to repair at Ray Mees. All the staff are very professional and responsive. The owner walked me through the entire process and told me he would be in touch with any questions or concerns. As soon as I arrived, we did an existing conditions report and then they started breaking down my car to begin repairs. I've never been to a body shop that's starts work on your car right away so immediately I was impressed. I had plans for the day so they told me I didn't need to stick around. I unfortunately hit a deer last month on a 2am drive back from Pennsylvania (RIP Bambi).. Anyway, my insurance carrier gave me 2 choices, one of which Raymee's was the one. I'm a tough customer when it comes to my baby Bimmer and I expect perfection, especially since I don't even have scratches on the bumpers. Except for some confusion in the beginning, the owner (I believe he's the owner) Jeff took over the repair and it all went smoothly. My entire front end needed repair and he gave me an approximate completion and met it almost perfectly - he was early! The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable, led by Jeff who really treated me well. Repairs are LIFETIME as well so I have peace of mind although when I got the car it looked like it just came out of the bmw showroom as they even washed it for free. Chris helped me with my tesla mode 3. I came to Ray Mees Auto Coach for the wheel alignment issue in my car and Chris looked into the issue and i explained him that because of wheel alignment issue I had to replace all of the tires and he understood the issue and asked me to relax and he took care of the car and even put my car on charge as it was low on battery. This car shop is the best one I ever been to- regardless of counties in NJ. I really appreciated the efficiency of everyone at this business, from the mechanics who quickly move your car to speed up the process in the parking lot, to the administration working at the customer office- to the owner- super quick and clean service. Also, one lady recommended and called for the rental service to even pick me up from the shop and made the whole process be done in LITERALLY FIVE MINUTES. They're the worst when it comes to fixing back your car on time. They worked on my car back in feb '14 and did a terrible job. Sure it looked nice on the outside but they didn't put everything back right and water started coming in to the truck to the back seat every time it rained. But the worst part was it took 6 weeks to repair. I've been to other repair shops and it was job that shouldn't have taken more than a week. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I brought it back now to have them repair the issues left and again a job that really only takes one day was stretched to 3 days, and only cause I kept calling and insisting. I would never recommend this auto shop to anyone. And will call my insurance to make them aware of their unprofessionalism. read more

Bostonian here for the weekend needing work done on my exhaust. The owner Christopher Jakubowski was unbelievably helpful. He gave me free advice and the best experience I've ever had at any car place. I called to say my car was making a funny noise. He was willing to have me come down and look at it and tell me what was wrong knowing before hand he wouldn't be able to fix it himself and wouldn't make any money from it. He helped me identify the problem so that I knew my options for wherever I went. He saved me 1,000+ by educating me. I could have paid for the entire exhaust to get replaced $1,000+ or just have a piece fixed and welded. The car is old and I just bought a condo, The place I went tried to sell me on replacing the whole piece exactly as he said they would), but in the end agreed I could just replace a piece for $150 and it would be fine. My Subaru STi is my baby and when someone slammed on their brakes going downhill in the snow the head on collision was inevitable. I was referred to Ray Mees and I've never been there before so didn't know what to expect, especially due to the level of love I have for my car, I was naturally weary. The Geico gentleman Junior was great to work with, as well as the Enterprise woman on staff at their location, as well as Tommy and the rest of their Ray Mees staff . They were all very kind, courteous, professional and just generally nice people. Last week my car was hit in the back right bumper and I took it to Ray Mees and got an estimate for the work from Chris. He took my car into the shop to take a look at it and called me a little while later- said my car was ready for pick up. When I arrived my bumper was fixed and they even painted the scratches on the bumper. I couldn't believe how great it look. Chris told me I would eventually want/need a new bumper if I was hit again but was more concern with saving me time and money. He handed me the estimate for the new bumper and told me to have a good day. When the time for a new bumper comes around, you know who I am going to call. I had an amazing experience at Ray Mees. After an annoying accident, Geico led me to this place and I am so grateful. The staff was professional and just honestly really nice. I didn't have the hassle of having to find a ride to get to an Enterprise because they have a booth on premises! So we towed my car there, and the rep had my car all ready. So saved me a ton of time. I got daily texts updating me on my car with its progress which gave me peace of mind that my car was getting the best service. It took about 3 weeks to fix due to parts having to be shipped and such. Since it took a bit longer than expected, I was out of town and was unable to get my car back, the auto shop held my car for a week with no extra cost! Great place!! The experience I had with Ray Mees staff and affiliates was fantastic! I could not have asked for a more caring and responsive group of people to help me during one of the worst days. My car had been broken into and it was the weekend before I had to drive down to SC for the joyous occasion of my brother's wedding. I was absolutely beside myself! I was sent here after an accident through Geico. I am VERY HAPPY with the work they did to repair my '15 Subaru Impreza. I was worried it wouldn't drive the same, but I feel comfortable driving it since I picked it up.
