The jobs were completed neatly, within estimated times (based on book times which I had read prior to bringing my 2013 GMC Savana van in). The price was well within normal expectations, both for the time and for the local area. I confirmed the work afterwards by examining the brake and power steering fluids, noting the work area under my hood clean and neat around the fluid storage sections. I also noted that, without asking, they filled my windshield washer fluid. Nice touch. :) I was promptly called when the job was finished and found my van doors locked when arriving, believe it or not something that too many stations fail to do. I was pleased with the work and feel lucky to have such a professional service station so close to my home.

I drive a BMW, when the battery dies the computer stops the connection between the starter and alternator until some magic code is entered to release everything. I explained this to the person from Roadside Express, she told me she never heard this before and my technician would be able to take care of the situation and would be able to put in a new battery and deal with the computer issue. The Technician showed up (within the timeframe listed) and tried to jump the car but nothing happened. He then said my key fob needed a new battery. I told him to wait until my husband came with my other key fob to see if that was actually the problem. He then said he had to jump my battery at the source, I told him the battery was in my trunk under my spare tire. He told me NO and then started to take various plastic parts out from under my hood to find the battery. When he could not find the actual battery, he went back to my key fob (see below with how he took it apart with a screwdriver instead of reading the instructions in my manuals which I told him in my glove box). My husband arrived with our other key fob and guess what, it wasn't the key fob. I asked the Technician if he would call me a tow truck as I originally asked and he said no it was my problem. I then asked who was going to fix my key fob and he said he would glue it together. I said NOOOO! I am now have to deal with getting a new key fob.

Pricing is similar to other shops but they don't do more than what is required. My kids now go here so we now have 4 cars being serviced. They will also take care of the small things like checking air in your tires and fixing flats usually for no charge if its a quick fix. It's a busy shop so sometimes it takes awhile for major work to get done but I usually get the car back in one day if I bring it in early morning.
