Been going here about two years now and I've only had one not so good treatment because my regular dentist was not in. (Went to fix two chipped teeth and before I reached home they fell off so I had to turn around and get them redone) they were helpful though and it wasn't a problem for them to see me again the same day. Dr. Priya takes good care of my teeth and I try to see her at all my visits. Very gentle and caring and tells you as it is but in a very caring way. I'm always comfortable and even when my daughter comes with me to the visits she is able to sit in a little play area they have for kids and watch tv or play. She also is able to get a token and get something from the gumball machine which she loves. The assistants are so personable and friendly. Their rooms are always clean and fresh and not to mention their front desk staff Stephanie, she is so gentle and understanding. read more

Dr. Baker and his team are not only extreme professional, but also attentive and catering. When you are expressing your concerns, they genuinely listen and provide honest feedback. They don't push up-charges or recommend additional/costly services just for the heck of it. My husband and I have been patients of Grand Trails Dental for at least three years and naturally took our one year old daughter to Dr. Baker and his team for her first dental appointment. Not thrilled with new management. I was a former patient but haven't lived in that area for 2 years. I all of the sudden got a text saying I owe them $6 and it is past due. It felt very threatening. I paid it because that is who I am but I had no idea of this for over 2 years. And it was on a procedure that they recommended and told me it would be covered by insurance but after the procedure they told me I still owed over $200. I paid it and then they wanted to schedule me to do a 2nd round of it. Dr Baker would not have handled things this way. New management is going to run this once great practice in to the ground. I would never go back if I lived in the area and have advised my daughter who still lives there to do the same. read more

Awesome office here! Loved my visit and had been dreading it as I was overdue for a cleaning since we moved. Dental hygienist Nipa was personable and thorough. She was fast with the dental xrays which was a relief. The cleaning was excellent; not rushed, and it didn't hurt. She got those pesky coffee stains out too and made some awesome recommendations to prevent future coffee stains. I don't want to spoil the advice if you decide to go in, just ask for her! Dr Baker was also great and went over my xrays with me (they were super boring... yeay!!!!) He's personable which is also nice. Jennifer at the front desk was very polite and courteous too. I really do like this dental practice! Being new to Houston, I was able to get a new patient appointment within a day! They did my X-rays, gave me a thorough cleaning, and they're working up a plan for a new crown after I broke my post from a previous root canal during Covid! Got the implant in October, and now I'm getting a crown to give me back my smile! Total YES!!! read more

BEWARE - we had two bad experiences with this doctor. One had to do with a simple crown. He did not use Novocain and botched the initial application, had to remove it then re-do it. This procedure was highly painful and took a total of three hours. Even worse, he was training a new hygienist during this which was clumsy and added to the problem. This is minor compared to the second issue. He had a panoramic X-ray of my 15 year old son's mouth sent by prior dentist. Because of the issue above, we chose to go to a different dentist. When the new dentist reviewed this same X-ray he immediately diagnosed a large cyst below his teeth that requires urgent surgery to remove. This cyst was prominent on the X-ray Dr. Baker took. Dr. Baker never mentioned this serious condition to us. It is astounding. I would highly recommend you go elsewhere as this is incompetence at the least. read more

Best dentist - honest and does good work! I am very picky when it comes to who I'll see for a dentist. I've had some bad ones in the past who tell me I need work done when I didn't just to earn a buck - or past dentists didn't do good work. So when I give a 5 star review for a dentist, I mean it! Dr Baker is a good one. Both with being honest and in the work he does. His bedside manner is great, too. He is friendly, cares about giving the best deal. He's cautious about not doing dental procedures if they aren't needed (that's a huge thing I look for in a good dentist), and the work he does is great. He even helped my daughter who gets really nervous at the dentist, have a great experience. If you are looking for a good, honest dentist - Dr Baker is for you! read more

I was truly wowed when I came into Dr. Bakers office, the staff is very friendly, and welcoming the place in general is super clean. I felt very comfortable talking about my concerns and they definitely were listening to me, the hygienist also her name is Andrea was great took the time to get to know me and asked me questions to know how they can help. Now Dr. Baker is very knowledgeable and professional. I appreciate him for helping me with my concerns he went ahead and removed my invasalign brackets that another orthodontist had done which he did as a complimentary for being his new patient. He left my smile looking great and me being confident again. I am looking forward to my cleaning coming up. I definitely recommend his office and Dr. Baker for your dental needs. read more

Some of the hygienists are nice but not all of them are. All of my visits have felt very rushed, like their only goal is to get me out as fast as possible. Also, every visit I have had they have been at least 45 minutes late. I do not feel nearly the same level of care as I have felt at other dentists. read more

I am a big chicken about going to the dentist. I was especially nervous since I had not been for possibly at least 2 years. I was really afraid of getting lectured about the length of time I had been avoiding the dentist. I couldn't go back to my old dentist because I figured he would be angry that I had waited so long between appointments. I looked on yelp and saw all the good reviews for Grand Trails Dental and decided to give Dr. Baker and his staff a try. Everyone was very nice and no one made me feel guilty about avoiding the dentist for so long. Dr. Baker and the staff were very understanding about my anxiety and did everything they could to help stay calm. The office layout is very open and does not give you that "closed in" feeling. It is true that you can watch Neflix while you wait which is really nice. As other reviewers have commented everything is modern and clean. I got very good advice from Dr. Baker and the hygienist. He told me about a prescription toothpaste which would be helpful for me and the hygienist explained how to keep my teeth from getting stained. He did not pressure me to purchase the toothpaste. They also explained the correct sequence for flossing and brushing. All in all it was a very good experience and I never felt that terrible sense of shame that some dentists and hygienists leave you with. I would definitely recommend this practice. read more

Dr. Baker and his staff are the absolute best. I had the worst dentist when I started the process of getting a crown on a front tooth. I was left with no crown and a sensitive filed down half tooth. Dr. Baker got me in right away and my new crown looks great. He does not do anything half way, he will go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and satisfied through the whole process. The hygienist is very nice and I loved how clean my teeth were when I left my cleaning appointment. The front staff are some of the sweetest ladies around and you will have no problem making appointments or getting checked in. We are new to the area and lucked out because this is the best office I have ever been to, for both myself and my toddler. Dr. Baker and Taryn and the rest of the staff are incredible! So kind, friendly and welcoming even my two year old felt comfortable enough to be seen in the room beside me while I had my teeth cleaned. Dr. Baker was a natural with him from making balloon animals, finding his favorite shows on Netflix, sharing his treasure chest and exchanging high fives and knuckles with him. It really put my anxieties to ease because my son's first two dentist visits were not the best and this was actually fun for him! I was shocked my son even left my side let alone opened his mouth for him. They became instant buddies. The office is extremely clean, inviting, nicely decorated and the rooms are open with windows and have TV's in each for patients. The staff is professional, accommodating and seem genuinely happy to be there and enjoy their job. My appt. was not rushed; they were thorough and everything was explained to me throughout it. Being relatively new to the area I needed to find a new dentist and I am so very glad I asked for referrals as Grand Trails Dental was where I chose. I have had multiple dental issues in the past and normally dread any dental work, but the entire staff at Grand Trails Dental made me feel welcome and comfortable from the first time I walked in their office. Dr. Sosa has been amazing in not only prepping me for my first implant, but saving another tooth and relieving horrible pain I had been having for quite a long time. So thankful for Dr. Baker! In December I had a pain in my tooth that was unbearable. After contacting his office I was sitting in a dental chair within less than thirty minutes(not exaggerating). It didn't hurt that his practice is in my neighborhood, but he went beyond what I would have expected. My tooth ended up having to have a root canal that day and I had an abscess. The office is very inviting with clean and modern rooms that offer plenty of natural light through the many windows. Nipa is amazing.
