They came out to my property after I reported that I had a leak in my roof near my chimney that was leaking down into my 2nd floor. They told me I needed a new chimney from the roof up. I paid these guy and the job looked great but I still have a leak after paying thounds of dollars and the leak is coming from where they did the work for me, I had them come back out multiple times and yet still leaking till this day in the same area in which they did work. We would definitely have Elite Roofing work on our building again! I wish that I had found them years ago. Elite has been a really great company to work with, they are very good with their communication, they have the knowledge, they have a great team and are all hard workers. I am the president of our condo association and finding good companies/tradespeople has been difficult. Our building has had an on & off leaking issue for years. Water was finding its way down into our garage and of course causing serious damage along the way. We've had people try different times and ways to flash, and after a recent construction project to fix damage, all of that flashing was torn up and the leaking was back. Elite Roofing was actually recommended by another professional that did not come to our area. He said he had heard good things about Elite. After looking at their website and their great reviews, I called. Sophie and Karyn are in the office and have been absolutely great to talk to and a pleasure to work with. I even stopped by their location and they were very welcoming, sweet and made me feel comfortable. Al was the one who initially talked to me about our problem. He heard about our situation and needed to get hands and eyes on our patios to inspect. This is exactly what I wanted to hear...we needed someone to not just look at things from the outside, but dig a little deeper to investigate. Other places we called only looked and didn't take anything apart and gave their thoughts and pricing. That was a great first sign to me and we hired them for this first step. Al was also confident and assured me that they will get to the bottom of the problem and take care of it. Al, Mike, Pedro & Brent were the first to come out and do the inspection. They were all great! They took things apart, actually looked underneath the siding, and really investigated. Once Al came up with his theories and a plan, our condo association hired them for the big job. When the time finally came for the job to start, there was a whole crew that came. Everyone was great! Al, Mike, Pedro & Brent were there again which was wonderful because they were the ones who first laid eyes on the problems. Vinny, Pablo, J, and Charlie and one or two others also joined over the course of the project. It really felt like we were being taken care of! Everyone on the Elite team was wonderful, they were very nice, always willing to explain things, fine with us watching the process and just overall and great team! They all have a good camaraderie with each other. Mike, Vinny and Pedro even came back in the rain to close up a bunch of stuff to make sure it didn't get even more drenched over the weekend. And, they stuck to the time that Mike told us the day before, I was pleasantly surprised. We had a punch list of little things that needed to be done to complete and finish everything up and they were able to come back much sooner than I thought and they accomplished them. So far, with all the rain we have gotten, there hasn't been any signs of leaking! That is the biggest goal...stop the leaking! And, of course time will tell with water being so tricky, but I am very hopeful and positive that what Elite has done has been the answer to our problems! Karyn and Sophie even called to check on us to see if there has been any leaking and assured us that even if we do see any leaking, we should call them right away so they can take care of us. This of course makes me feel really good and that we, as their clients, are being taken seriously and being taken care of. Can't tell you how nice Al and his wife are at their customer service! They took time to assess and quickly get to my roof and a repair some squirrel holes and also some facia. This was a difficult job with very little room in between two houses. They replaced the gutter facia and filled the holes within a two week period. I found their fees charged to be more than palatable for the work performed. He also gave me an estimate on the entire roof repair since this is such an old house. Very nice couple. Since my roof developed a leak in the winter and I knew it was old and probably needed replacing, I started calling a few roofing companies. When I called Elite Roofing, although it was after business hours on a Friday, someone picked up and I got a call back on Monday morning. Snow was expected during the week, and roofing work is all dependent on good weather. Despite the oncoming threat of snow, Al managed to work with my schedule to have someone inspect the roof before weather degraded. What first impressed me with Elite Roofing was of all the other roofers to come inspect the roof for a quote, they were the only ones who arrived with a ladder and went on top of the roof. All the others used a crawl space from inside, which required more coordination on my part since I have a tenant in that unit. Once the roofing inspector climbed down, he was able to show me pictures of my roof and I definitely was able to see the problem. Al immediately then called me to present me with my options and pricing. He then emailed the quotes within the hour. This also impressed me because I had to call the other companies a few times to even get someone to come then I had to follow up for the quote. Since I was already impressed with their speed and communication, I decided to hire Elite Roofing. Throughout the process of getting my roof installed, communication with them was a breeze. No matter who picked up the phone (Drew or Kim), they knew what was going on with each of their clients. This was evident when I visited their office because they have a white board to keep track of what is going on with their clients. Once I decided on Elite Roofing, my roof replacement was scheduled for the next available day with good weather, which was the Monday of the following week. The first was about clearing autumn leaves out of the gutters. When I first called them, they took down all my details, put me into their database, called me back, and showed up for the appointment. I was surprised because my past experiences with roofing companies were like a dog chasing a squirrel, and I was the dog. "Some day I'll catch you...oh, I guess I won't." Good thing I didn't have any serious leaks, not only because squirrels make poor roofing choices, but also because my roof would've caved in before any of them bothered to give me an estimate. Elite Roofing returned my calls, does business using normal channels like email and credit cards, and showed up the days they said they'd show up. This shouldn't be so unusual, but in my experience, there are a lot more squirrels and lot less actual roofers. A leak over our bed was just one of the ramifications of having a very old roof. We had put off getting a new one long enough and we're so glad we went with Elite. Their knowledge of roofing was cool as hell. They understood the science of it all (took a core example and showed us the 7 layers in our 1890's roof). The passion they have for roofing and attention to detail resulted in us getting the exact materials necessary for our specific roof. Nothing over-priced, nothing extra...just hard work and wisdom. Concurrently, a new HVAC was being installed on the roof, so the two groups had to work with each other. The owner of that company said that Elite was really great to work with and that he rarely gets to say that. Elite's communication was incredible, the crew was diligent and respectful (during a pandemic, mind you) and the final product is exceptional. We had a horrible experience with these guys. Got quoted me a price then after they started the job they upped the price. It took five days to do a job they committed to do in three day. They showed up late everyday and were no-shows on the third day. This really screwed me up in the days I missed at work. The worst part though was one of the guys who had dark shoulder length hair made me and my daughter uncomfortable. He kept eyeing my daughter and making lewd gestures. This was the worst home repair experience I have ever had. I am especially uncomfortable with the one guy knowing where me and my daughter live. read more

Elite roofing was amazing. They did a wonderful job redoing my roof. We had leaks in multiple places and couldn't figure out where the water was getting in and causing water damage. James came in with his technology and spotted where the water was finding its way in. He then sent Charlie Mermelstein to do the work and I'm so happy he was the one in charge. I had a busy work week and Charlie handled not only the work, but was so great in ensuring the doors stayed shut and locked as he came in and out with supplies (my dog and kids were home alone). He was professional, communicative about the job and process, he wore a mask, he was careful not to create any damage as he was in and out of our home, and most importantly, fixed our roof. We decided to give Elite Roofing a call after receiving some recommendations from friends. We had a very small leak that happened over the winter, and seemed to be an isolated event, but didn't want to take a chance as we have a historic row house that's 120+ years old. Within short time of leaving them a voicemail, Nick called back and made an appointment for the next day to do a quick roof inspection and estimate for any repairs we might need. On the day of the appointment, Nick showed up promptly at the appointment time with James, and the two men were able to do a quick inspection from drone footage. They identified the issue (smaller than we expected!!), explained in full detail what repairs were to be done, and that same night we received the detailed written estimate complete with pictures pointing out what work is to be done. we were also told any permits that was necessary would be pulled by the company and we had nothing to worry about. on the scheduled repair date, Nick and company came by on time, and quickly completed the work despite some complications they had to work through with a very vindictive and nosy neighbor. the crew was neat, professional, cleaned up after themselves, left everything exactly the way they found it, and answered every question we had patiently along the way. They made a return visit to help us out with a clogged gutter drain (not one they worked on) about a week later with a same day call!!
