It failed and JT (the owner) showed up within two hours. He quickly diagnosed the issue but realized we needed a new system. It's 15 years old so I knew it was time and the company is out of business so parts were basically impossible to find. JT understood being without hot water for a couple of weeks would be a challenge. BUT some serious outside the box thinking came into play. There was another project they were removing the same broiler from and going to toss. He drove across town to that project and picked up the unit (that was going to be tossed) and brought over. He took the pieces from the other unit and get ours working until the new unit arrived. I mean come on! Most people would have just shrugged it off with an "it is what it is" type of comment but they went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we weren't without hot water for more than half a day. We also had a flap unit that failed, so they replaced that. Shortly after that unit was making a horrible noise and they showed up to check it out. Although they could have stuck me with the bill because I think CalAM shut our water off causing that pump to fail they just handled it. As far as pricing, I called around for another bid on my broiler and they were literally 5k less than anyone else.

Their plumber was unable to complete the installation in my master, but while attempting the job he scratched my countertop and damaged the new faucets. Even though they couldn't get the work done, the owner, Greg, still charged me $350 per faucet because it was "time spent." No compensation made for my scratched countertop nor damaged new faucets. When I pointed out the damage--right there on the spot--the plumber admitted he had to use a wrench that slipped and scraped the countertop. I even showed Greg photos proving the scratches weren't there before, but he kept insisting the damage was pre-existing. Instead of taking responsibility for damaging the brand-new faucets, the owner dismissed them as "cheap" and said they were "$30", which was both inaccurate and insulting. To make matters worse, they didn't even reinstall my old faucets, leaving me with a non-functional sink. I had to hire another plumber, who finished the job without any issues. I will add that the installation of the new faucets and angle stops in my guest bathroom and powder room were fine. I'm extremely disappointed and will never hire them again. I empathize with the difficulty of the faucets install in my master and just wanted them to acknowledge their error in damaging my countertop and new faucets, but instead, I received rude and insulting messages from owner. This company is careless, overcharges, and takes no responsibility for their mistakes.
