They did two jobs for me--replacing my old water softener and replumbing my laundry room. They did both speedily, beautifully, honestly, and economically. The old water softener (and filter) was basically a disaster: the previous installers used 29 elbows(!) and no shutoffs, left scorch marks on the drywall, and didn't even install the coarse sediment filter in the right sequence (should be first, not last)! The new installation is far & away cleaner and more functional. The old laundry room water outlets for both the washer and sink were faucets haphazardly (unevenly offset) sticking out of the wall. The new installation washer outlets are nicely recessed in a laundry box, and the sink outlets are standard under-cabinet sink supply lines. Amado and crew are delightful people: I easily & highly recommend them and will gladly call for any & all future plumbing issues. read more

I had been contending with the shower in my master bathroom where if you turned on any faucet in the house while someone was showering the water would go ice cold or if you flushed a toilet the person would be scalded. I took a chance on these guys because I never heard of them before. Armado and his team came prepared. They had all the correct tools for this job. First thing: This is the best plumber I've ever dealt with. Honest, friendly, easy to work with, and fast. Truly a gem. Our toilet developed a crack and started flooding the bathroom. I made the mistake of calling one of the big box stores that offer installation services. Soonest appointment was 2 weeks out, and they delayed it three times before cancelling. They just cancelled it and were like "nobody is available to install it." I called Amado (That Darn Drain) and the new toilet was installed in less than 90 minutes. They took the old toilet out, purchased the new toilet, and did the install, and for less than the box store was going to charge me. I would recommend this business to anyone and everyone. read more

Amazing service! I called early this morning and he rushed right over to my Grandmother's house to clear her drain. I was at work and didn't expect him to get there and get the job done so fast but he didn't mind. He said I could meet him later on in the day to pay him. Excellent pricing as well. They weren't able to find the main clean out line and needed to go through the roof which is a 2 man job, but he still only charged us for the rate as if he went through the main line. I'm joining the rest of the 5-star reviews here. We have had a lot of plumbing trouble at our new home, and we've had about 6 different plumbers here for various things. Each was problematic on one or more levels. A couple never followed up after coming out for estimates. There was shoddy work that broke after supposedly being fixed. And frankly a lot of attitude! We finally found our guy. First, Amado is just a classy guy all around. The nicest man you'll meet. So friendly and professional. We needed a water line installed for a new fridge, and it was a bit of a complicated job. He came out to inspect and spent a good half-hour trying to figure it out. He said he wouldn't charge us if he couldn't solve it. But he was able to come back a couple days later when he had time and did an amazing job. There was major blockage causing an overflow in our newly remodeled bathroom. Panicking (and there were some tears) , I looked at Yelp and called the first few highly rated companies. One guy came out and tried to charge me $1200 taking full advantage of the situation. Neighbor practically ran out and said no for me! Another guy said we'd have to pay his commute time...from Carmel to Marina during rush hour and probably would have cost us well over $300 for the commute, work and equipment fee.
