    Medium fried catfish

The coleslaw, fried catfish, and service were exceptional. Jo and Lori were top notch. There's nothing better than a small town restaurant where locals frequent and people are friendly. The only thing missing was fresh lemons for my fish and water.

This is the $28 seafood platter I shared w my wife. Not worth it

I have been wanting to try out this local establishment for sometime now. I finally get a chance to eat there and oh what a disapointment. I'm not one to judge a place on it's building, but they are in need of repairs. 3 front windows are all cracked, the roof on the left front is being held up by a board, and the decor is the original from when it first opened. My wife and I decided to share a seafood platter and we were told we had to pay $3 for the extra plate. The platter was a dip plate, which is small. We got 3 of the larger shrimp total. The food was average. We paid by credit card and once again was told we had to pay like 3% charge for using it. Overall a huge disappointment. Btw the platter was like $25 plus the $3. Not worth giving them our business.

Praise the Lord!! The catfish gods have answered my prayers....If I were to be a catfish and raised in a farm for eating purposes, I want to be cooked here. How come I don't weigh 300lbs like everyone else eating in this restaurant escapes me! I have lived in the south (Mississippi, the catfish capital of the world) long enough to realize how good fried catfish should taste like....not like the ones you get in Chicago. Heck, I have even been to the world catfish museum in Belzoni, MS The breading...oh, the breading...it is divine! You have the option of choosing four fillets of catfish or go for the unlimited. You can also choose between fillets, nuggets, and whole catfish. All served with cole slaw, hush puppies and homestyle fries. Delicious!! I go for the unlimited fillets. The last time I was here, I managed to eat 14 fillets...hee, proud of myself!! This is good southern cooking y'all!! (had to say y'all)

Great catfish, great fried green tomatoes, and great hamburger steak. It feels like your classic catfish place!

The hush puppies were "slap your momma good" and the sweet tea was even great!

My husband and I met a friend at Crescent City while passing through on a road trip, and while we…read morewere told it was good by some of the locals, we weren't expecting just HOW good! Our server, Cameron, was kind, patient, and attentive as we waited for our friend to arrive. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great suggestions based on his personal favorites. We started with the crabmeat wontons, which I was expecting to favor traditional rangoons, but these were crispy gyozo dumplings, filled with a savory and smooth blend of crab and cream cheese, and served with sweet chili sauce. They didn't last long on the table :) Even my husband, who usually doesn't like seafood, dug in! Intrigued by the subtle twist on a classic, my husband chose the fried chicken and beignets. I was allowed a bite :) and it was hard to stop there! The flavor of both components was outstanding, and the crispy texture, perfect. I wasn't quite as hungry, so I asked if I could do a classic Caesar salad and add creole shrimp. When I say this was the best salad I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating! The flavor of the dressing was so simple yet rich, the croutons were light and tasted freshly-made, and the shrimp were deliciously savory, with a blackened flavor that exceeded my expectations. All in all, a great dining experience that we will share with others traveling through the area, and will repeat if we're ever back!

Food was so-so, soggy wyagu burger bun, dried fries & a 45+ minutes wait for just a burger & fries…read moreat 7:45 pm when nobody was there. No wonder most tables were empty! When it comes down to it, it's about the food! The server was a nice young lady & that was about the only saving grace of my over priced & long wait supper. This place looks cool but I want better food, more fair pricing & faster service. I'd recommend you look elsewhere if you want a tasty meal. Don't let the "cool vibe look" deceive you!
