I was able to call the lady and tell her that she didn't owe me anything because of their kindness . It seems if they were putting my front end back together and charging me over my quoted amount they could have aligned the wheels. I can't say I need auto body shops alot but I will not recommend any business that has bad business practices. Amber asked me about the damage my car sustained, then proceeded to ignore that information as she snapped photos, leaving several damaged items off of her estimate, and actually specifying the wrong grille for my car (a difference of over $600 for that part alone) even though we discussed issues with my adaptive cruise control (the estimate CLEARLY marks the grille she spec'd as "NOT FOR VEHICLES WITH ADAPTIVE CRUISE..."). Then, three days later, she calls me to ask if I'd like an estimate done on my car, completely forgetting that she had just seen me a few days prior. She also never e-mailed me a copy of the estimate despite a promise to do so. As a result I now have to go through the process of getting ANOTHER estimate from ANOTHER shop and waiting for ANOTHER payment from the insurance company. I was considering having my car repaired here, but if they can't get the details right during the estimate, I don't trust them to fix the car properly. Sorry to pull you away from TikTok to do my estimate, Amber. I hope it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.

Jeff was the person who helped us and he was fantastic! Jeff Knew exactly what we needed he pre-ordered the parts and we got it completely finished and ready for our trip to continue one week later. They also kept us posted the whole time we were never left wondering if this was really going to happen or not. And someone always answered the phone and happy to help us. Well one could say the name is misleading collision he does so much more than collision. He also is a mechanical shop. In the past year since he's been open my daughter has wrecked her Jeep where she rear-ended somebody and did about $14,000 in damage. John and Dan worked with my insurance company and it was fixed in short order. Something else he's also done for me was mechanical. While I'm pretty mechanically inclined and I'm certainly able to perform many automotive tasks on my own I simply have run out of time and John makes it affordable and worthwhile to take my car to him. He has replaced the brakes on my truck and the brakes on my wife's Audi. Something that's of note is that every time I've been in there he always has a customer that brings in the project car that is a challenge. I've seen him replace entire drive lines in collector cars, repair prior work on a previously repaired salvage car that was questionable and make it so it's safe. He has installed an outfitted equipment into a former airport bus so it's a mobile gym, repainted 70-year-old cars... He runs a pretty interesting business. I made him multiple referrals from friends who have taken their gas tanks from an old ATV in to get fixed, work on a alignment for a race car, even install some aftermarket accessories. Did you buy some tires from tirerack.com and or Walmart and want to get them mount and balanced? Yep he can do that. He has two lifts and a state-of-the-art alignment rack and also a frame machine. Anytime you go there you're bound to see something interesting in addition to getting a great value on getting your car fixed whatever the problem is.

Luckily the car was still drivable; after dealing with the insurance company I needed to get the bumper fixed, which was actually a pretty big job since it included a number of the modern sensors to warn of blind spots and cross traffic. I went to a couple of the better collision centers near me that were highly rated on Yelp. I ended up picking LJI because they had a great facility and really took charge and reassured me that I would be in good hands. The LJI in Beachwood (they also have a facility in Cleveland Heights) is located on Chagrin just East of I-271 in the same building as Choolaah. Once inside I was very impressed with how clean and modern the shop and the office are. The waiting room is very nice and features a small boutique. Once I arranged for them to get the claim from Progressive they handled everything including setting up the rental and let me know that they could get me in the next week. Dropping off the car was easy and the rental was there and ready to go. The estimate was that the car would be ready in about 1 week and they might send it to the Cleveland Heights shop. After a week I got a call letting me know that the car should be ready the next day and then a follow up call to let me know when the car was done. Picking up the car was also easy, the cost to me was only the deductible, minimal paperwork and of course turning in the rental. The repair job was excellent, the back of the car looks brand new, in addition they actually cleaned the car inside and out. Exemplary work and a great job of going above and beyond. I really appreciate how easy they made repairing my car, the staff is great, they communicated with me when they promised and delivered as promised. LJI is clearly one of the best auto collision centers and well worth using if you need auto body work done. I would highly recommend that you consider them.

SUBJECT: KEN'S GARAGE, WICKLIFFE, OH On Oct. 28,…read more2024, I took my car for repairs to Ken's Garage, in good faith. The check engine light was on, as well as a diagnosis of 'replace catalytic converter' from Auto Zone. I asked Ken if he could fix my car, he replied 'yes, with a price of $300 to $400.' On Oct. 29, he replaced the catalytic converter, downstream sensor as well as a front pipe. And a surprise bill of $970.01. Three weeks later, the light came back on again. Saw a retired mechanic for advice, he said Ken is responsible since he fixed my car, Ken became angry when I mentioned that. I also went back to Auto Zone, same diagnosis. Returned back to Ken's. On Nov. 21, he replaced the converter again, said said the converter he replaced was defective. Three weeks later, the light came back on again. Went to O'Reilly's, same diagnosis, besides a 'bank one', sensor diagnosis. Returned back to Ken, he became irate, lost his temper, yelling, and said he would not replace the converter again ( I did not ask him to do that) and he would not fix my car, that he was not responsible. I became upset. He then told me that there was nothing wrong with the original converter. Surprised, I asked 'why then would you replace a good part, if it is not necessary. He became defensive, yelling - 'accused me of insisting' that he replace the converter. I did no such thing. He lied. He never called me to say the converter was okay. I replied that since I know nothing about cars, I would not insist anything because I am not a mechanic, you are'. He proceeded to tell me he only told me that the converter he replaced was defective, so he would get reimbursed by the supplier. Isn't that dishonest??? After all this, my car is still in the same condition as in Oct., only at a $970.01 loss. I took my car to E Check and it failed. Ken's so called receipt was not acceptable. They had to make a special call to get me a waiver, but my car is still not repaired. He is blaming my car and not his work. Thanks for nothing, Ken! Recently, another mechanic put a diagnostic on my car, pin pointed an upstream sensor, said codes means many things, and the bank one is an upstream sensor that Ken should have replaced in the first place and avoided all this trouble. Ken did not act in a professional manner, refused to finish the job. Ken was attempting to blame me, a senior widow, spoke very disrespectfully - that he should be ashamed. When other negative reviews are on his website, he writes a rebuttal and blames everyone except himself. I have the diagnostics as proof, other mechanics as well as E Check. Out of 1 to 5, he deserves a 1, the lowest Annie B.
