I was told by word of mouth & my in laws that this mechanic shop is honest & has good reputation. Incorrect. Took my car in Friday, was charged $930 for a $80 part (5hr labor for a part that should take at most 2hrs) and drove off with more issues that could've caused my car to catch on fire. Was also told I needed new breaks all around which was also incorrect. Total would've had to spend over $3000. Luckily I took it to another shop in which they confirmed my breaks only needed lubricant & will be getting all else fixed that was messed up at richards. Expenses aren't the issue as clearly taking my car to a mechanic l'm ready to pay to get my car fixed. PLEASE find a genuine and honest mechanic because this is not it. He found that the car needed a new fuel pump and new fuel filter. He ordered the parts and got them in 24 hours, and fixed it as soon as he got the parts. Everything was taken care of within 48 hours, max. He is extremely knowledgeable, has quality mechanics working for him, and guarantees parts and labor. Our car is 18 years old, and runs great now.
