Fish and chips is the best in everett literally. They were featured locally in social media as the best and you won't be disappointed.

The must visit spot where all the locals go to. The fish and chips is the best in everett. The only negative the staff and the lines can be a wait because their food is fresh and made when ordered. But that's the only negative love this spot would never go anywhere else for fish and chips in everett.

Stopped by Ray's Drive-In in Everett and tried the fishwich along with a basket of fish and chips. The fish was fresh, crispy, and cooked just right, and the portions were solid for the price. The fishwich was simple but satisfying, and the fries were hot and crunchy. It's a classic drive-in spot with quick service and good comfort food. Definitely worth a stop if you're craving fish and chips.

Good service and great value. Not where you would expect some good made to order fish and chips.

Just yes. If you want a Good ol diner burger - then Yes. The burgers a juicy flavorful and comforting. The fried mushrooms are IT! Highly recommend if you love mushrooms. Fries are great too! This is a drive through and to go only place so you order at the window and take food to go. Staff is friendly and service is pretty quick. We love coming here when we are in the area.

Ray's Drive-In was a hopping place when I arrived around 11:15 a.m. today, Thursday 29 June 2023. There were a few vehicles in the drive-thru as well as parked in front of the building and in the parking beyond the building/drive-thru. I decided to park in a spot beyond the drive-thru and walk up to the window to place my order and pick it up. Multiple menus were posted with items and prices easy to read. Placing the order was straightforward and the wait was short even with a few other groups in front me. The worker at each window (place order & order pick-up) had a good attitude and was attentive in our interactions. I ordered the Ray's burger with bacon and cheese, a small fries, and small cherry shake for $15.50 pre-tax. With tax it came to $17.03, I paid with a twenty dollar bill, tipping $2.50 of the change. The burger was perhaps the best bacon cheeseburger I have had to date. All of the toppings/sauces were on point, the bacon crispy, the bun soft, light, and fluffy. I was impressed with the toppings in that they scaled with the patty thickness. Fries were a hearty serving for a small, were hot, and retained small pieces of the potato skin. For the milkshake, the cherry flavor was intense in a good way and the temperature cool to cold. All around a flawless meal per my tastes and appetite.

This place was great! Hidden gem. I got a rays burger add bacon and it was super flavorful! I also got a banana shake and I have to say that was the star of the show. Idk what was in that but it was one of the best shakes I've ever had. Tasted like real banana. It's been one day and I'm already craving another banana shake. The fries were totally homemade and were fantastic! They were very similar to dicks drive in fries if you have ever had those! I give this place a 10/10! The drive through was VERY fast. We will be back!

Very good burgers! I haven't been here in a few years and they still maintain deliciousness! Despite the fries not looking very appealing, they are So GOOD!! No indoor seating. However, parking is good, plus they offer a drive-thru.

Fish and a half with a large order of mushrooms

Having another dinner from Ray's. Tonight I went their fish and a half with a large order of deep fried mushrooms and nope I couldn't finish the whole meal even though it was super tasty. Their tartar sauce is homemade and you get a huge amount the ranch that comes with the mushrooms is ok but I prefer their fry sauce. The rest of my family went with hamburgers and chicken strips, it's not a huge menu but what the have is very good. Ray's has been around for a long time it's located on the north end of Everett on Broadway. It's your classic old school burger place has some seating but most people use the drive through they're pretty quick and nock on wood they haven't messed up on any of our orders. We'll be back

Now coming in it was a little awkward as you walk in and the counter is right by the entrance just like most restaurants, but there were no signs that said wait to be seated or seat yourself. After standing there for a couple of minutes I saw people grabbing menus and congregating to the register. I was waiting for someone so it worked out well. You order and then take your number or in this case a magic 8 ball to the table(so they know which order goes where). This location is much larger than I remember. It had a very eclectic ambiance. More or less different types of tables and chairs everywhere, but gave off a homey vibe. The people that were working were very pleasant. We both opted for water, in which they had a water station for you to fill a cup and sit down. After sipping my water I noticed the glass I had was chipped and cracked, a chard actually chipped off in my hand. I took it back up to the front and exchanged it. Probably not the best idea to have all of the glasses stacked on top of on another. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich, in which upon ordering they had to check if they were ready to serve that. I was lucky enough that they were, although I did have a back up plan. The turkey sandwich came out with a mixed green salad with a dressing I was not sure of, but was very refreshing. The turkey sandwich on sourdough was very flavorful and I was very happy with my pick. I would definitely come back here and try more things, although the Cajun sandwich remains on my mind. One of the better sandwiches I have had in a long time!

But I digress -- you're supposed to be reading my review. I decided that I was in the mood for grilled cheese and tomato soup, so that's what I ordered. The tomato soup is really amazing -- so fresh tasting and delicious. But the sandwich was next level nom-ness. I opted to get it on sourdough because it's the best for dunking into the soup. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, the entire experience was exceptional. The hospitality was top-notch, and our server, Kim, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. When I dine out, it's important that I feel comfortable with my server because I truly believe food should be served with love. On a scale of 1 to 10, Kim was off the charts! Now for the food... I ordered the French toast and requested it extra crispy. It arrived perfectly golden brown, topped with fresh berries and real whipped cream--absolutely delicious! I also had over-medium eggs that were seasoned perfectly, although they were a little closer to over easy than medium. Still, they were very good. The only item that fell a bit short was the chicken sausage, which was average and could have used a little more flavor. My husband ordered the pancakes, and they were delicious. His bacon was cooked to perfection--crispy, flavorful, and not overly salty. Honestly, my only complaint was that I got too full to finish everything! At many other tables, I could see traditional breakfast fare such as french toast or pancakes that also looked tasty. My wife gave me a taste of the banana bread and it was delicious! Ordered the same thing for the kids, and the same burger for both adults - one as a meal and one just the burger. 20 mins go by and it turns out our ticket just got .. lost? So we waited with two hungry kids for 20 mins before they even started making our food. Food comes, and my burger is wrong. I go up, tell them, and walk away thinking they were going to fix it. Another 10 mins and someone comes to our table asking if we were still wanting the burger we actually ordered and that we need to pay a dollar something for it. At this point, it's been 35 mins since we ordered and I still don't have the burger I asked for in front of me. The person "helping" us argued that nothing was their fault, they must have read the order back and I didn't correct them (we order two of the same burgers!) so I'd need to pay (not the issue, it's like $1) and wait some more for the right burger. I gave up and ate my by-thay-point cold burger. Honestly, this could have been so easily fixed. We were fine with our order being forgotten and I would have happily exchanged the burger I got for the one I ordered. There wasn't even an attempt to make up for the forgotten meal - instead they made it worse.
