Hummus has less rich taste, but as a non Middle Eastern person I think it's still authentic, just more take out vibe. Compared to Sam's, less bread but good especially when hot, no red sauce, more meat, less vegetables, less flavorful rice. We changed our lunch plans only to get turned away at the counter. When we ordered, the counter staff said he didn't think it was included in promotion. He went back to talk to the manager and said ... "The promotion doesn't include Impossible because of the price difference." We explained we saw the promotion piece on Good Day Sac and all their burgers were showcased, never mentioning Impossible was excluded. "We can't do it" So, we left. I looked at the promotional poster on the way out and the small print doesn't show any exclusions either, but didn't feel in the National Burger Mood any longer. It's not going to be the best Halal food that you'll get in Davis or anywhere else in the world, but it tasted nostalgic, and I really enjoyed the whole thing. My husband who is currently on campus more than I am noted that the storefront gives you more food than the food truck at the silo. He also said that the food tasted better here.
