I recently ordered catering for 20 people for a work event and the owner, AJ, was great. Very easy to work with and he and his team did a great job labeling and packing the dishes. It was freezing inside. I'm not saying a little chilly, but freezing. I'm not sure why we didn't just leave and go to the Thai place next store, but we didn't. Prices have gone up with the new ownership significantly. So be ware. The food is tasty, I ordered the gyro wrap. It was very tasty and filling. They no longer have a operating soda fountain. If you want a soda they offer canned beverages. As for water they offer bottled water or cups and you can use the back water dispenser and ice machine. The water dispenser has a hot and cold option. The cold lever gives out chilled water, not what you want when it's so cold inside. The hot lever gives you room temperature water, which was better under the circumstances. I doubt we will return in the wintertime again. I hope in the summertime they have adequate AC so it's not too hot, but I'm not crossing my fingers. They had a portable AC/Fan unit in the entry way so there is something telling me that there AC/Heating unit isn't working. I discovered this place about a year ago and have gone back a few times since then. The lamb and chicken for their gyros is delicious and well seasoned, the veggies are always fresh, and the pita is dense and sturdy. The service is always quick and friendly, though I rarely see people sitting in the restaurant to eat. I am not a big fan of their fries because I feel they're never fried long enough, so they tend to be a bit soggy, and the baklava is mediocre in my opinion. They have seating outside, and the inside is always clean and quiet. When I have dined in, the service was very quick and my water cup never went below the halfway mark. Great concept but M Halal Mediterranean Food is one of the few who participates in my area. Through the app, M Halal promises a surprise bag of food worth $24 dollars for only $7.99. We decided to give it a try though the restaurant is far from home. We ended up with a Falafel Bowl normally priced at $11 - not the $24 value they promise. We added a few regular priced items to our order. Overall, the food was good but nothing that really stood out for me. Service was just okay. There were no customers but the lady that worked there was busy cooking in the back and took a while to finally get to us. She wasn't even friendly about it. I think, if a restaurant is going to participate in "Too Good to Go," they should keep their word on their promise and wow their customers so they come back again. Not sure what the prices are since I think we paid more than I thought we would. Trying to dine in the place is smoked from all the frying and poor ventilation of the restaurant. The soda machine didn't work but she still let us order a soda. Seemed like a chronic issue since another cup was sitting at the machine in disgust of not being filled and used to it's extent. Man this place used to be good! I just door dashed an order for 2 lamb gyros and the meat was super dry and overcooked. I couldn't even chew it because it was so gross!!! I can't believe they would even send this out to a customer! Look at the pictures I took a few months ago if the lamb compared to now. How is this acceptable food??? It usually comes with fries and apparently now it doesn't. $40 for 2 lamb gyros that aren't even edible and a sprite. This place should be ashamed. Under new management and AJ, the new owner, is AMAZING. After issues with the cleanliness and the rudeness of the previous owners, I was done. I thought I had ordered from another Halal restaurant but realized I had ordered from M Halal and was dreading my previous experiences. Much to my surprise I walked into a totally refurbished (spotlessly clean) and totally great experience! The Philly gyro was the best I've ever had and the lamb and beef rice bowl weighed (at least) 4lbs. Aj even called me on my second order to come in 10 mins later as he wanted to make sure the rice was fresh. Please give Aj and M Halal a new chance and you won't be disappointed! read more

This is a decent spot if you're in the mood for some Mediterranean favorites, but it's not the best by far. I tried to call multiple times on a Sunday evening (6 PM) to place an order but the phone wasn't in service. We were able to submit an online order so we did that and hoped for the best lol The order was ready when we got there so that worked out. Can't say much about service. It was really a grab and go situation. We ordered 3 gyros and 2 fries. The fries are seasoned but not waffle fries as indicated on their menus. Not a big deal. The fries were okay... crispy but nothing special. They remind me of the ones from Fire Wings which are kinda airy. The gyros look small but they're hefty and packed with meat. However, I do feel like it could have used a little bit more veggies and sauce for some added freshness. Price point is on par with other similar restaurants. I'll be back if we're in the area, but with all the other Mediterranean options popping up now, I think they might need to step their game up. There's no outdoor seating btw. I should've read reviews first. I ordered on the Too Good To Go. I paid $9.99 for "$30" worth of food. Upon arrival, the guy mentioned he's just going to make it fresh and it'll take 10 minutes. So I waited in my car, got back inside and received a regular plate of food from the looks of the menu, it was a $10 plate already.. It came with rice, meat, and some cucumbers. Not even bread, hummus, or baklava added... It was forsure a "surprise" bag. For something worth "$30" this wasn't it. Don't order on the Too Good To Go app. It's a scam. Same price as the menu.
