We went to this fun place for lunch. The food was excellent, and we were able to eat outside and back our car up to the outside eating area and enjoy our lunch with our pet. Jason enjoyed his falafel and I ordered the Philly Cheese Gyro and this was amazing; the meat literally melted in your mouth and was delicious and freshly prepared. We also ordered a side of hummus and pita bread and it was good. The staff were extremely friendly and even brought the food outside to us. The bathroom was clean and stocked. We were driving down to SF from Seattle and stopped by at Costco gas station and found this place for dinner since it was nearby. At first, O was a little skeptical of 4.8/5 reviews but I see why now. We got gyro wrap and gyro & chicken plate, Greek salad and curly fries. All of the dishes came with very generous portions and they all tasted very good. I especially loved how the plate came with rice, salad and hummus as sides. Other places usually offer one or two sides only. The service was great, staff were very friendly and kind. I would definitely come back here if I am in the area ever again. We were in Downtown Vacaville for an event that ended at 8pm and resorted to Yelp for place to eat. Falafel & Gyro was still open, just over a mile away; and with a 4.8 Yelp rating, this place intrigued me even more. It was a 5 minute drive, located in a small shopping center. The left side of the store is facing the parking lot while the entrance is on other side. Plenty of parking. We were welcomed by the owner, Safi. Everything on their menu was reasonably priced. I initially ordered the Combo Plate and lamb & beef Gyro; then after I paid, I saw the Philly Cheesesteak and had a craving for that instead. I asked if I could still change my order and pay the difference in cash, Safi changed my order and told me not to worry about the difference. We dined in, a few minutes later our food came with generous portions and absolutely delicious! We were also given orange slices and complimentary baklava. The baklava was so flaky and not soaked in syrup which, I like. I asked if they make their own baklava and was told that it's ordered from Sacramento to support another local business! Not as impressed as I was when it used to be Falafel Corner. The food portion is just as huge as I remember, but the food was alright. I got the combo plate; hummus had no flavor but it's probably to balance out the saltiness of the meat. Husband got the falafel plate; falafels were a bit dry. Such amazing flavor at this Greek gyro spot. You order first then sit, and the workers are super friendly and ready to help. The vibe is pretty calm, more of a takeout-style spot. Okay so this used to be a Falafel Corner. I thought I'd tried this place and written a review for it, but alas it is gone. Service- order at the counter and have a seat. Even with no dog, we sat outside next to the parking lot. It's fairly close to the road so if you're bothered by the noise maybe stay inside. Ordered some falafel and some Loaded Philly fries. The fried chickpeas came out in what looked like discs, breaded, fried and topped with sauces. Pretty delicious. The fries appeared to be everything in a wrap minus veggies on potatoes. Pretty generous with the toppings on the fries, we brought everything home because you know...home. All of the window signs and beverages had a not-so-subtle Coca-Cola undertone and that's fine. We stopped here for a meal in the middle of a long drive home and were so pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service and genuine friendliness. It's honestly hard to describe how we felt, but the best way to put it is that we felt truly taken care of. We haven't experienced this level of attentiveness at a restaurant in a long time. Every request we made with our order was followed perfectly, the food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the kids were even treated to complimentary desserts. My oldest was craving Mediterranean food while we were headed to Vacaville to run errands, so we found ourselves at Falafel & Gyro. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with warm friendly smiles and given plenty of time to look over the menu. We decided on the combo plate and a gyro wrap. I made sure to kindly request extra pita bread and tzatziki. I was very surprised to find out that the owner (possibly) who was helping us refuses to charge for extra sauce. To which I tip my hat to you kind sir. The food came out quickly and the portions were huge! The combo plate could've easily fed my daughter and myself and there would've still been leftovers. The gyro meat was delicious and so tender, the pita bread pillowy soft, and that hummus? Perfection! We were driving from Reno to the South Bay, and looked for a Mediterranean lunch stop. I ordered loaded Philly steak fries w/ gyro meat. It was huge, big enough for two! And delicious, I would definitely get it again. My companion got a falafel gyro, she said it was perfect. The falafel patties are flavorful and not dry, which is sometimes the issue with falafel. The restaurant is comfy, with the cleanest quick-food bathroom I've seen in a LONG time. It was very quiet at 2pm on a Friday. Our food was cooked to order, so it tasted fresh and was hot. We split a piece of baklava. I didn't think I like baklava, based of all of my previous experiences with it. I stand corrected! I'm tempted to stop and get more to take home when we drive back through Vacaville. read more

The moment we walked in.. we were greeted right away with friendly staff with great recommendations. Even gave us bottled water for free when we asked for water cups with our meal. I had the falafel plate which was HUGE plate along with we also got the gyro one that was stuff with a lot of meat. You definitely will leave full and some. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Food came out fresh in a decent amount of time. Overall good decent amount of seating given the space and a great lunch spot for sure! Finally found an excellent Mediterranean restaurant since I am moved to Vacaville. The food is excellent I highly recommend it.

Food was take out. Location is nearby which works well for convenience sake. I had ordered a falafel wrap. It's decent. The whole thing was pretty bland even with the spicy sauce. The spicy sauce brought more heat but nothing to the flavor table. The falafel themselves weren't crispy and tasted a bit overdone. The tzatziki had no character to speak of to gel things together for the wrap. The rest was just lettuce and tomato filler. There's a lot of options in the area with a more complete package I'd say for this in specific. My compatriot really enjoys the lamb wrap from here so the meat probably balances it better I'm sure. read more
