But, we did want to have some drinks set up just in case. We were looking for some basic liquor, but we forgot in LA, everywhere sells liquor. So this place had mainly wine and higher end liquor. I was able to snag up a bottle of Hibiki Harmony for 60+ tax. It is currently sold out all over town in Houston. They were also very nice and sent us to the gas station down the road which had a wide variety of the basic stuff.

Additionally, the table was quite unsteady which made cutting the steaks a bit challenging. The food and service quality didn't align with the prices and desired ambience of the restaurant, which was very disappointing. We arrived at 6:45 PM and received our check around 8:55 PM, making the evening longer than we anticipated for a typical date night. While the initial hospitality was appreciated, the overall experience fell short of our expectations. We may consider giving Mazen's another chance in the future, but for now we'll explore other dining options.
