I went to have my first mammogram done at Rayus. Very organized and clean establishment. Keith was at the front desk and was pleasant and quick with helping me check in. The mammogram itself went a lot smoother than I was expecting. The staff was amazing and I got my results back the same day within a few hours. The staff was really nice, however the timing to get your results are so unacceptable, I had a brain bleed 5 years ago, started feeling weird, my surgeon ordered an MRI, it has been 6 days and still NO one has looked at the report. Avoid this location! I recently visited the West Palm Beach location and was pleasantly surprised. I made an appointment here for a basic xray. Front desk staff was rude and abrupt. Filled out forms and was called to another window for next step and staff person was a little nicer. Sent to wait in another area where I was greeted by the xray tech, Tia. She was friendly and nice and gained them an extra star. The xray was quick, but then the process to get the disc was awful. Had to go back and wait in a line of seven people trying to register to request the disc. Long wait with one grumpy employee. The only ray or light was Tia. Otherwise, it was a very slow and frustrating process. Maybe try to go at an off time or other location. This was an annoying experience. Seemed to be understaffed. read more

Ultrasound only: Very clean and comfortable facility, the tech was thorough, though she pushed in a little hard (completely unnecessary for ultrasound, on a scientific basis...look that up and research for yourself), it wasn't really uncomfortable for more than a few seconds. I arrived early, as they requested, but they took me early, so it wasn't really a long wait that I'd expected. Their pre-appointment emails and text messages for registration and check-in seemed a bit incessant, but I'm sure they get plenty of patients in Boca who forget what day it is, etc. read more

Had to drive 30 minutes to Rayus Boca Raton becauuse no one seems to answer the phones within 30 + minutses to make my appointment (on hold waiting). Then i wanted to cancel the appointment and the $250 deposit. After 4 calls, over 3 hours wasted. they are still unable to cancel my appointment. Apparently it is in a department no one seems to know how? My advice is to completely avoid Rayus Boca Raton completely. I fired my Neurologist because he only uses Rayus. Still havent gotten anyone to help and now I am on hour 4 of hold waiting to find the correct department. So so so unprofessional. Place is an absolute joke. It was as if it was a heavy lift for the employee to schedule an appointment for me, so he would keep suggesting I just walk in when I would ask to make an appointment. I walked in and waited 30 min to get my xray. I have now waited 5 business days after being told it would take 48-72 hours to receive xray results. I called today and waited 45 minutes to talk to someone, then was told I was talking to the wrong department. They transferred me to another department and the call dropped. I then called again and waited another 18 minutes, then the lady looked in to what the status was and said they'll try to get to it today, but it sometimes takes around 7 business days. Like a well oiled machine. If every medically related office operated like this place, we'd all be better off. Was able to completely register, upload documents, and pay the copay online. So when I got there I was completely checked in. They took me early and I had my CD and was out the door 10 minutes after my appointment time was supposed to start. The radiologist was terrific, explained everything and made me feel at ease. Plus she was fast! No one wants to have an MRI, CT or ultrasound, but if you have to, this is the place to be. This is the worst imaging center on the planet. Their employees are arrogant and are void of any kind of humanity. They are incapable of handling the simplest of tasks and treating people with any decency whatsoever. I'm here with my husband for a CT. I don't like to give reviews but the experience here was so different from everywhere else that I would like to share my experience. Nowadays people are so rude and mean that We already call expecting to get upset. This place was excellent from the time they answered the phone to the end of the service! I have been going to DCA for 20 + years, DCA has become RAYUS....The ABSOLUTELY WORST radiology facility I've ever used. I've been lied to, given the run-a-round by 4 employees. It's been 2 weeks, I still don't have my MRI results. I'm a 2x cancer patient, Both malignant. How dare these people tell me it takes 2 weeks for a test result......I've had cancer for too many years, and countless tests, scans and surgeries, and know how long results take!!! The girl at the front desk (441 in Boca) has a disgusting attitude, zero compassion and should be fired! I had a 6am appointment. I got there early as they requested. I was sent to the back to wait for the tech to come get me. At 6:15 I went to the front desk to see how much longer I would be waiting and the receptionist had her head down on her desk and was fast asleep. 1. If you cannot stand for longer than a few minutes bring a chair. I said I was struggling to stand, needed a chair, and was met with a blank stare. I arrived feeling really good and when I left there were tears streaming down my face from the pain. No one asked me what was wrong. 2. This is a zero compassion facility. Everyone is extremely polite, but if you want to feel human kindness I cannot recommend this facility. 3. The privacy practices policy is not available at the facility and no one there knows what it is but they will encourage you to just sign saying it was received by you. 4. I got home and immediately looked for the privacy practices. I found it online. The data they collect is simply referred to PHI (patient health info) but it doesn't list what they collect or specifically how it will be used. I was unable to find a way to update my own cookies. There are several places that advise you "We use analytic and technical cookies, accept and close". Good luck and I hope this helps you. I will be in bed much of the day using pain meds to get ahead of the leg pain they triggered. Cant work now due to zero tolerance drug policy in aviation. Lost wages and pain. I hope and sort of expect they change this but I'm not physically capable of going there. If you have a wheelchair you wont have any issues. read more

GO ELSEWHERE - Don't waste your time, money, and most importantly, HEALTH here!!! EXTREMELY disappointed with the lack of communication and efficiency at this imaging center. A loved one had a scan done THREE MONTHS AGO, and we're still waiting for results. Despite multiple follow-ups, we have received no clear answers or updates. To make matters worse, they had no problem sending an invoice - even though we never even received the results! This is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with medical imaging that could impact important health decisions. Every time I call to try to make an appointment, I am on the phone waiting literally for an hour or more. The last time I called for an appointment, I was on hold for 45 min and then they transferred me to anther department and I was on hold literally for 2 hours. They answered after 1 hour and 59 minutes. Fortunately, I discovered a closer radiology lab that can do these tests --and they answer the phone! I would give the W. Boca location less than one star if I could. I had made an appt. for 12/12 at 11:00 am. The day of the appt. I got a call from them asking if the appt. could be moved to 10:00 am. No problem. I arrived early. The male at the front desk said that my appt. had been cancelled because they had overbooked. He said he had an opening at 3:00 pm that same day. I took it. I made a second trip to Rayus at 3:00 pm. I was given a computer tablet to fill out info even though I was in their system from a scan less than a month before. (I never received the report from that scan). Tablet jammed right away. I returned tablet. I saw people filling out paper questionnaires, but I was not offered one. At 3:35 I still was not called for my test. A female worker then asked if I had filled out info. I said no. She then threw papers to me and told me that I had to fill them out quickly because they were "waiting" to do my test. I rushed to fill out the paperwork and returned to her. I waited 20 more mins. and still no one came out to get me. I went to the desk and told her that I was waiting more than an hour and wanted to see a manager. I went to manager's desk. The manager said nothing. Another employer came over and whispered something to her. She then left and did not return. I walked out after waiting almost an hour and a half. Never got test. Not good at all.. I regret that Boca Raton has almost only one place for imaging such as Rayus, which used to be Diagnostic of America, which was very good. My 81 year old mother was ordered an ICU, when I made the appointment they informed me that I had to pick up liquids, on 12/09 I went to pick up liquids and I had to wait more than 45 minutes during my work schedule and I had to leave without them, but yesterday 12/11 I called to see if there was a way to pick up the liquids faster and I was informed that it was not necessary that I was misinformed, she does not need the liquids that I was going to do intravenously the contrast liquid. Today I arrive at 7:00 am and they tell me this for the exam and after an hour of waiting I ask and they tell me that these exams start at 8:00 am, which bothers me because I live 15 minutes away because they call me 1 hour before, then at 8:10 I ask again, because my mother was fasting and they tell me that they are 1 hour late, I express my opinion because it is a lack of respect, we all know that the employee did not show up for work and not that there were complications. But I have to say the tech that took us was amazing at the end!! But I have to stand up an complain and get stress. read more

AVOID Avoid, avoid . No mgmt available to even discuss the ongoing problems they have . They schedule tests without your approval as well. this place is run like garbage... several 5 minute logged calls sitting on hold...RAYUS to call me according to my Dr's online prescription for MRI w/ contrast. previous ownership was efficient. 5 business days later and no call for appt from facility. They Id a Robocall today with a routed the identical way as if a patient calls in. Sat on hold again. If up to me, I'd use UNIVERSITY MRI as I'm not paying to kiss a facility's u know what. Front desk is unprofessional, send us to other location that doesn't do x-rays. When we asked, why did you send us, He said: " I didn't know." My wife was in pain and we have to wait for another day. This front desk guy put wrong time for the appointment, luckily we came earlier. We have to wait for 10 days to get results. Avoid at all costs. They are awful. I went in for an MRI expecting to get the results in a couple of days. 12 days later I was told that they had yet to be transcribed. I went in to get my disc's and dropped them at my Doctors office. When they tried to open them, they couldn't. They thought they might be in-scripted but they weren't. They were just blank. Ben B , after almost 2 months after visiting my doctor and having a request for an MRI by the doctor, I was finally contacted a 10 days ago and scheduled for service on June 7 at 9am. On my way this morning to the appointment at 8:40 my phone rings and the lady on the other end is calling from Rayus to tell me the appointment has to be cancelled because the facility did not have the right magnet to do my MRI. I have been scheduled for the following day at east Boynton at 12:40. I'll update tomorrow on my next adventure with Rayus.
