My wife & I have been looking for great BBQ for many years & largely being unimpressed elsewhere ( Including cities known for great BBQ such as Memphis, St. Louis & Kansas City ) well, I will say 100 percent we found it here at Razorback Ribs. We ordered the Pulled Pork Combo & the Chopped Brisket Sandwich. Everything was absolutely perfect. Our server, Felicia, did an excellent job of taking care of us & the prices were quite reasonable ( 2 entrees, 2 soft drinks & a side ) for $ 39.21. My husband and I were visiting the area from Illinois and as our custom is, when we travel to a new area, we began to research local barbecue spots. Carolyn's was close by and had good reviews so we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. We were quickly greeted and given menus and offered something to drink. Our server, Stacy, let us know right away they were out of ribs and pulled pork which was understandable since we arrived after 7 pm on a Monday evening. After perusing the menu, we decided on the brisket sandwich, sweet potato fries and coleslaw, and a meat platter with brisket and their smoked sausage which comes with two sides. We also got the spicy nips as an appetizer (sliced jalapeño peppers battered and fried to a golden brown). All the food was delicious and expertly prepared. The batter on the nips was unique and crispy and I tried to figure out what they used, but I couldn't quite make it out. They were really good and super spicy, we loved it! The meats were fresh and obviously of good quality. The brisket was perfectly smoked and had a nice rub on it and the barbecue sauce was delicious as well. The sausage they use was also very good, smokey and lean. It reminded me of a sausage I had when I was a kid, visiting my grandparents in the south. Everything we had was outstanding. So much so that we came back the next night for their brisket tacos which are served on, you guessed it, Taco Tuesday. We got there early the second day so as not to miss out on the ribs. The Saint Louis style ribs, had a nice rub and were perfectly smoked. They were served with just enough sauce so you could leave them as is or add more if you prefer more sauce. The meat was fall-off-the -bone tender, but still with enough bite to chew. The service was great too. Stacy was very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with her. We also met another customer who came back the next night and said he goes there most nights for dinner. We certainly would come back frequently if we lived in the area. read more

This place was fantastic! We came by here after viewing the eclipse nearby & everything we had was excellent! I had catfish & my husband had a BBQ combo, The Community Plate. I'm not a BBQ fan typically, but their brisket was really good along with the pulled pork that I tried of his. I also tried a rib & they were the way most ppl like ribs (slide off the bone). I like mine with more bite to it, but they still were good. The beans were very good along with the okra. My husband said the chicken breast was still moist & was even a whole breast. That's impressive. So on to my meal which was catfish. It was very good, very moist & thick fillets with a perfect amount of breading. The taster sauce was homemade & also very good! Even the Dr Pepper was a good mix! Our server was a young girl & she was very attentive, but not overbearing. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stop by! read more

There are 2 great BBQ places in Yellville; one has a nice honky-tonk atmosphere, but Razorback Ribs has the best food!! The 2 meat plate is a good value, but when you eat here - you gotta eat RIBS! These ribs are really good; messy and gooey - but packed with flavor and juice! Loved 'em! Note: the Ribs & Chicken Plate is also a nice way to sample their meats - and you can pay extra to sub brisket for the yardbird. Sweet. Possible sides include all the BBQ basics; I loved the Baked Beans - but the Potato Salad had too much sour cream for my wife (the only flaw). Our tea was good, but the Brownie Sundae dessert was better than very good - with nuts, hot fudge, and whipped cream! We went twice in one day, if that tells you anything!! read more

Haven't been here in awhile and glad to see them open again. Got a pulled pork sandwich and a smoked chicken plate and dined in. Food was very tasty. Was given a choice of two bbq causes sweet and hot and tried both. They seemed alone but still good without being overly hot. We did have enough left to take home which was great. My only complaint is the flies. We had to battle them to eat. Possibly ceiling fans would help. Our server was super and took care of everything we needed. Great BBQ and super nice server. Stopping here is a must if you are in the area. We tried the pulled pork platter and the chopped beef platter. The pork was juicy, the beef a little dry. The seasoned fries were hot right out of the fryer, the potato salad was fabulous. As great as the food was, our server was even better. We never wanted for anything and she stopped back on a regular basis to make sure all was ok. My only regret is we did not leave enough room for desert, which looked amazing in the case. read more

Catfish and BBQ. Both are very decent and priced fairly. The location reminded me of a place I went as a kid. Had the old diner feel. The employees were nice and the service was great. I thought the ribs were slightly overcooked and the potatoes in the loaded potato salad were slightly undercooked. But both were still very good. I'd go back for the cheesecake too since we were too full when we left. read more

Was in town for work on a Tuesday and wanted to try the "other BBQ place" in town, but they're closed on Mondays and Tuesday. Which is weird. So went to Razorback and had a lovely lunch. The girls were very nice and attentive. Tried the fried pickles which were nice and thin and covered with cornbread breading. Tasty, but so very salty. Got "the tailgater," your pick of meat with BBQ beans and slaw. Couldn't beat the price at $5.99 and it was filling. Looking forward to going back and working through the menu. read more

Yay! The food was great. The people were friendly! We stopped for lunch at Razorback Ribs after being disappointed with a different BBQ place the last time. Both servers greeted us as we walked throttle door and told us we could sit wherever we liked. We sat down and Stacy was at our table straight away. She was so friendly. We ordered iced tea while we were looking at the menu. My husband had the Meaty Combo with pulled pork and sweet BBQ sauce, curly fries, and baked beans. I had pulled pork. Pork and a fork. All the good was great. My husband particularly liked the beans. We will be back. I hope next time we're there early enough to try the brisket. read more

This place was amazing! I'm from the west coast and Memphis Style dry ribs aren't really a thing out here. We cover everything with sauce and cal it bbq. But these ribs were amazing. Slow cooked, dry rubbed and moist. You could taste the smoke with every bite. These ribs didn't need sauce. The fried okra was amazing too. Would totally come back again. read more

Stopped by on our way to the Buffalo River due to the good reviews left on Yelp. The best thing we ate was the sweet potato fries. Everything else was just okay. We tried the ribs, sausage, beef brisket, catfish and potato salad and baked beans. The potato salad wasn't edible, because the potatoes weren't even cooked all the way through. The ribs and brisket had no flavor except for the sauce. The sausage was the best out of the meats we tried, but how can you go wrong with sausage? The beans were were straight out of a can and cold. You would think that a BBQ joint would have good baked beans. We regret not going to Blacksheep Bbq instead of this place. Gave two stars, because the customer service was good and the servers were very attentive. read more

Smell of smoke outside was so good but the ribs had such a dry dark bark on them it was so thick it cooked through the smoke ring and lost all smoke flavor. Meat next to the bone was moist but tasted more like pork roast. Baked beans were bland, sauces were good both mild and hot as were the sweet potato fries. We have had several good meals here in the past. We went for an early dinner last Saturday and ordered the ribs and the chicken and dumplings. The ribs were so overcooked that the bones came apart and there was no meat on them. They were actually crunchy. The chicken and dumplings had a decent flavor but were like paste. Great BBQ joint! We had the Hula chicken which was good, pulled pork and brisket dual meat plate which was great but didn't realize it came with no carb item, would've ordered the fries in place of the baked beans. Meat was good and tender, with a good amount of smoke flavor and BBQ sauce was perfect, not drowning which allowed the meat flavor to shine through. The catfish with hush puppies was also amazing. Definitely a good roadside BBQ joint and anyone passing through this small town needs to check it out! read more

The ribs must be good for the overall rating to be so high. Midweek, they don't serve ribs. We had bbq chicken nachos that had very little chicken, and were basically a plate of chips and pork and beans. The double decker BLT is made with bacon bits? I try to stop by and grab a 1/2 rack of ribs when I pass thru town after working. They have a very friendly staff and have always made me feel comfortable even though I'm not one of the "locals" that probably eat here often. It's worth the trip. read more

Came to this place while visiting a friend and after seeing much bragging on how great the ribs are, I wanted to try them! I ordered a full slab of ribs, we had a few appetizers such as fried mushrooms, fried pickles and cheese sticks. Everything was delicious! The ribs were meaty and falling off the bone! The sauce was an excellent compliment to the ribs. The waitress was always on top of things, making sure glasses were filled, always checking to see if we needed anything else! I had a chance to meet the owner and such a cool dude. Being from Detroit he made us feel right at home. Friendly, accommodating and great food! Could you want anything else? We were traveling thru Arkansas and stopped for lunch at Razorback Ribs. We love finding small town places but you have to take a chance because you never know how it will turn out. Plus, my husband is an awesome cook, so I'm picky about restaurants! But We were pleasantly surprised! I got the 3 ribs and chicken with loaded potato salad . It was only 5.99! The ribs were awesome! Falling off of the bone! The chicken was good too, but I do wish I'd of had just ribs! Oh! And the fried dill pickles and fried mushrooms were great!!! (We didn't eat light today!! This place rocks! Yep, the've got their BBQ down flat. We stopped by during our visit from NYC. I grew up in Yellville, so I am familiar with the location as the old Dairy Inn. My wife had an awesome burger and I enjoyed a perfectly cooked rack of ribs. It was really good, too! Plus, their t-shirts are a hoot. We will stop in, again, on our next mountain getaway. read more
