Not only did they have the exact model she was looking for (coincidentally, the same one I wanted to purchase originally), but the staff was noticeably more professional and welcoming this time around. While my friend certainly turned a few heads--she's objectively very striking--what stood out more was the consistently courteous and knowledgeable service we both received. It felt genuine and customer-focused, which made the entire visit smooth and enjoyable. The staff was so helpful and relaxed that I ended up making a few purchases myself--completely unplanned, but I couldn't resist. It's possible my earlier experience was just an off day, and this visit definitely changed my perspective. As a nice bonus, they even gave me a handful of stickers for my gun room wall, which was a thoughtful touch. Based on this most recent visit, I'm fully revising my original review and now highly recommend this store for your firearm and ammo needs. The only bone to pick (that I can tell) would be that if you need help on the floor, you sometimes have to comb the place for it. In their defense, the place is so large that they'd have to be significant overstaffed in order to feel like help was easily accessible. Pretty typical in the super large warehouse sized stores. They seem to have the things we need and when we need them. Customer service is friendly and helpful (thank you, Alex). Decent selection and prices seem competitive although I'll admit I haven't bothered to price match too much.

We signed in to the digital queue. But that didn't matter because they weren't even using it and just helping people that walked up to the counter. After FINALLY being asked to step up for assistance, I gave him my name, id, and order number. The gentleman then took my id to the back to "locate" the order. THAT TOOK SEVERAL MINUTES. He then walked around the store for a few minutes, with my ID in hand. Finally he came back to the counter and said that the order was not in the back and did I mind if he pulled the Ammo order off the shelf. And I was perplexed ?? Why are you asking. ?? Just pull the order. Why wasn't the order pulled and ready LIKE THE EMAILS STATED IT WAS!!! He then COULDN'T LOCATE IT ON THE SHELF AND I HAD TO SHOW HIM THE AMMO AND WHERE IT IS . We did not see it. And he then went in the back AGAIN WITH MY ID IN HIS HANDS. I asked him for my ID back since I didn't want him to set it down some where as he tried to "locate my order". After several more minutes, he told me that he could not find it. At that point, I asked to cancel the order and to speak to the manager. The associate said he already notified the manager, who was also aware of the gun/ inventory issues I had previously. I STILL DEMANDED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER. A few more minutes went by when he decided to come out. The manager was extremely rude and you can tell my his attitude and he disheveled clothing that he did not and does not care. I stated my complaints again and noted that they were the ones who did not cancel the order and accepted it. He then proceeded to say that THEY NEVER GET THIS AMMO TYPE IN HIS STORE. And I said someone in his store approved/accepted the order. He claimed that he had no way of checking who accepted the order. And I simply said that was no excuse and this whole situation was handled extremely poorly. He then said " Well what do you want me to do". Sir, I want you and your store to get your shit together, AND DO YOUR JOBS so I am not wasting my time with people who clearly do not care when there is an issue that they caused. Managers who act like this when the issues are caused by them, their stores, and their employees have clearly lost the plot. And to continue on with his rude behavior, after looking dead at my husband and speaking to him, he then cuts my husband off mid sentence to say "I was talking to her". Sir, you are looking at my husband, and talking, he was thinking that the conversation had been directed to him. He then asked WHAT I WANTED TO DO ABOUT THE ORDER. Not only were you aware of the issues with the gun inventory , you did not take the time to verify if the remaining items on the order were in stock at YOUR FUCKING LOCATION??? You have the audacity to ask what I want to do with an order of Ammo that you just said your store never gets. Like I'm supposed to leave this order open with you all having my money and me not having any ammo. I asked that the order be cancelled and my money refunded. I received and email today from Sportsman Warehouse that my order was cancelled because it was ABANDONED. How the fuck can I abandon an order for an item that was NEVER THERE AND HAD NO INTENTION ON BEING THERE. Basic customer service is all I was asking. Nothing free or discounted. I wanted the items that I paid for and was confirmed to have been there. What a fucking shit show.

I finally decided it was time to stop being nervous and actually go to the range. After reading the reviews, I decided to check this place out, and I'm really glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I told them it was my first time at the range, and they took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and help me get set up. That made a huge difference because walking into a range as a newbie can feel a little intimidating. Once I got to my lane, I was only there for about 30 minutes, but I enjoyed every minute of it. My confidence definitely grew, and I left feeling way more comfortable than when I walked in. Overall, great first experience. Friendly staff, helpful guidance, and a welcoming environment for beginners. I'm looking forward to coming back for more practice -- and this time, I promise I won't wait another two years.

We all know, purchases / transfers in California are difficult and wrought with bureaucracy & nonsense. This shop, makes it simple and easy for you to get it done. In addition, they have a very nice indoor range with a VERY wide multitude of rental firearms. Aside from the good customer service & cool indoor range, they had an incredibly wide variety of stock for sale. I noticed they had VERY fair prices, like some firearms were easily $100-125 less a piece than the FUDD gun shops here in (510) Alameda County. I would say the top highlight of this gun shop was the lack of FUDD. I experienced & saw / heard zero FUDD nonsense. Just straight up good, solid, friendly customer service & plenty of great products to choose from. It's also noteworthy that they had a really good inventory of ammo for reasonable pricing. I'll definitely be spending some more money here. Keep it up guys!!
