RBP did concrete work for me in 3 areas. A slab for a carport, a breezeway between buildings and a walkway to the front door, 600+ sq-ft total. They also installed a French drain before doing the concrete. I am very happy with the result, it looks beautiful. Everything during the process went very smooth and there were no delays. My home siding project is finally done.... While I really liked all the people I met at RBP... I never knew when anything was going to happen. Also, they damaged parts of the exterior like electric outlets, patio door, etc. Once I had paid them for 90% of the job it took 2 months to finish the project and I had to hire my own electrician to complete the job. I hired them in early April. The siding was installed in early May. It's now the end of July. Not a fun experience. I wish RBP well but I cannot recommend them for siding work. Requested a quote for a driveway repair at a clients residence. There are some minor scratches and we want to take care of it in good faith. We come across RPB and the reviews are decent. Not only do we receive the most ludicrous and exaggerated quote for replacement (Not Repair) as requested, they give the quote to OUR client. This was not a simple mistake. The situation was made quite clear prior to sending them out. This created unrealistic expectations and essentially put us in an extremely awkward position. How does this company not follow basic business acumen? Who would have thought that requesting a simple quote would spiral into so many complications. Ruben was outstanding to work with! From bid to finish, he kept solid communication and answered all of our questions. He was competitive with his bid and was the only contractor out of five who was on time and didn't bullsh*t me with what was and was not feasible. Flat surface concrete pouring has been delayed this year due to the late spring rains and the ground being soggy, but as soon as the conditions were ideal, RBP got started. The RBP crew was awesome! They worked their a$$es off! Darcy (crew supervisor) was stellar to work with for both me and my wife. Bottom line is RBP delivered the service they quoted on time and on target. Ruben created a beautiful and practical landscape around my house. What was previously mud and really worn out landscaping/ faulty concrete was replaced with a framework of walkways, patios, and planting beds. I had my design and he figured out how to make it work or improve the design. He worked with me while I completed some projects that needed to happen before the pour like laying electrical conduit and repairing/ modifying the drainage, rain drains, and irrigation lines. He worked extremely hard and he is a friendly and honest person to work with. He was a bit slower than a big company but that worked out for me and his price compared to value was excellent. Made a consultation appointment and once it was 30min past the scheduled time, I messaged the owner...mind you he never reached out to let me know he would be late. He asked if he could come 2 hours later at 7:30pm...to which I couldn't accommodate due to my toddler's bedtime. Ruben is the owner of the business and was great to work with. My husband and I were having issues with finding someone that could get the permits to have the driveway we wanted. Ruben worked with our city and was able to get the approval to extend our driveway approach. I'm so thankful he did all that extra work so we could have our driveway the way we wanted it. Reschedule me multiple times the last minutes. Can't keep up with appointment. I have to give them 1 star because No 0 star option.

Our dreams, included an outdoor expanded living space, for which friends and family could gather and enjoy mutually during this grueling pandemic. This included concrete hard scapes, new shrubbery, plants, garden space, camp fire pit and a reinstallation of our air conditioning unit which has been disconnected to allow the contractor to do their work. We discussed funding with a mutually agreed on bid price. With assurances from RBP there wouldn't be any issues. Property project scope was marked out and completely walked with Ruban Bautista Paz, business owner. He was told not to exceed HIS bid quote price. No exceptions. My first mistake was giving him 50% down for project funding. And, as he'd forgotten to bring a contract. I went out on a limb trying to build trust again. It turned into three days before Ruben brought me a contract that we could sign. That set the tone on how Ruban operates. Beware!! Make triple sure what you want and expect is clearly included in writing in your contract. If Ruban Bautista Paz won't answer or respond to your emails and messages. He claims it means he doesn't like nor agree with some or all of messages. He tried multiple times to change the scope and lay out and use of materials throughout the duration of this property owners project. Beware!! Never once writing any proposals, nor seeking any written authorization. And then taking the initiative on himself to change what he was supposed to install here. He has drilled dozens of holes into our existing concrete house foundation, concrete driveway, and concrete front porch and back patio. He pounded wrong size rebar in. Redrilled new holes to close to wrong holes, so that fracturing has occurred surrounding these holes. He refused to repair or use high strength epoxy resin to anchor rebar. He was directed time and again, to stick with the original build plan for all aspects of the scope of this properties project. Holes weren't mentioned. Never authorized prior. Beware!! I voluntarily contributed many days of my own labor to help him move forward and in most instances doing his job for him. When Ruben was unclear on aspects of our project, I would take personal time away from my job to work with him and to clarify and get him to correct any issues they have created. On many occasions he has promised to be here on site working? Only to no-show. He has quit this property owners project, and left it incomplete, unusable, and hazardous. We have tried time and again to meet with Ruben to offer him solutions and give him clarity which he has agreed to countless times. What this does boil down to is; we 'would not' verbally agree do any of Ruben's proposed changes. (As we did not have the extra funding as stated previously in all communications.) This "addition" to our outdoor living space was our dream that we had been planning for four plus years for. Saving for at least five years for. Not only has RBP construction prevented us from enjoying our outdoor living space during this pandemic. But they have prevented other companies and contractors from being able to come in and perform their scope of work. Manipulative from the start. Deceptive and indecisive in his business practices. Ruban promised, had convinced us that we will love what he installs and be very satisfied for years to come. He promised!! Check his derogatory complaints in OREGON CCB license #219408. read more
