4 years ago I purchase an appliance package (5) kitchen pieces. I paid for an extended warranty, so I removed my 5 kitchen appliances from my Home Warranty Company for that period of time. They created a new package for me minus those appliances and I can not add them back in until the 5 years is up. That worked out great. I recently called about a small problem with my dishwasher. RC Willey came out ordered a fan replaced the fan then decided it wasn't the fan but one of the motors. Okay, the tech placed an order for a new motor. I received a call from RC Willey that they wanted to replace the dishwasher with the same model. Okay, sounds great whatever you need to do to get it working was my response. However, replacing it voided the warranty. I can not add it to my home warranty package for another year and a half. The warranty will not carry over for the remainder of the year and a half. I now have to purchase another warranty. My biggest issue was that the warranty department person simply just kept repeating the same phrase over and over again without even offering a bit of understanding for what I was saying. The old warranty does not carry over to a new product. That's it. Then to top it off, when I said goodbye and suggested that I would call and speak to a manager to see if they can help me out she did not hang up her phone before making a snide remark. So unprofessional. I have never had a problem with products, or customer service before and I have purchased furniture and appliances for 2 homes from them. I am a little disappointed. Fortunately, I purchased using my Amex and am covered through them for a year. I just hope it doesn't break down after that before I can add it to my home warranty. Always something. read more

In March of 2019, we bought a Samsung washer/dryer from RC Willey. RC Willey was great. Samsung was not. The machines never worked right, from day one, and after FIVE appointments where Samsung authorized technicians were sent to our home to try and "fix" the issues, we had become fed up. Their customer service was beyond atrocious! We spent 8 long and unbelievably frustrating months dealing with them and they had numerous chances to prove to us that doing business with their company was a good idea. Not once did they take the chance to accomplish that. Quite the opposite. I will never buy Samsung appliances again and will be doing my best to avoid dealing with them in any way along with cautioning my friends and family away from them. After getting nowhere with them and living in a nightmare of unclean clothes that were never fully dry for what seemed like a lifetime, I demanded Samsung completely replace our machines. They finally came to a tiny bit of sense and agreed to do so. They sent orders to RC Willey, on Stephanie St. in Henderson, NV. to process an exchange. We were going to be responsible for getting the broken down machines disposed of, signing for the new ones and getting them back to our home and installing them ourselves. We were so worn out from the fight with Samsung that all the work needed to finally get this resolved, which SAMSUNG should have taken upon themselves, sounded beyond daunting. That's when a ray of hope finally shone thru the darkness. His name was John. He was the manager for the RC Willey store assigned to replace our machines and his phone call to tell me he was handling the transaction would be the start of the end of our nightmare. He was amazing. He listened to the issues we have with the Samsung machines and was very empathetic. He then suggested we switch to LG as that is what he and many of his associates swear by. He was well aware of Samsung's reputation for poor customer service and promised to make the pain of dealing with them fade away. He delivered on his promise. By that weekend, we had been put in touch with a salesman, Jimmy, who politely and professionally guided us thru selecting a new set. They processed the transaction and set up a time to not only deliver them to our home, saving us the trouble of doing it ourselves (as Samsung had intended to impose on us) but they removed the old ones and installed the new set... for free!!! They did not have to do any of that. Their obligation to Samsung was to processes an exchange. That was it. But John, Jimmy and their team were thrilled to help us end the insanity and make the whole thing better.... finally! They even checked in on us a couple times, following the install, to make sure we were happy. Night and day difference from how Samsung treated us. For RC Willey to own a problem they were not even responsible for and not only make it right but go the extra mile to make it SOOO much better, it just shows what kind of upstanding company they are. The new LG Washer/Dryer set are working fantastically and we are absolutely thrilled with them. That tells me their suggestions were not just trying to move product. They listened to our needs and current complaints and pointed us towards a product that would truly make us happy. We are now RC Willey customers for life. We plan to write similarly glowing reviews on many other public websites and urge our friends and family to give RC Willey their business. We are so grateful for a company willing to do the right thing! read more

Caution!!! If you are buying flooring laminate/wood from RC Willey be prepared they will charge you much more than you expect to pay. They will come in after you have been quoted and paid and then charge you a significant portion of the already overpriced installation to level and grind etc. ver disappointing. I used Lowe's on my previous house within the last year. Such a better experience. I picked a color I was unhappy with and Lowe's without any grief agreed to replace and simply charged me the cost of installation. read more

Five stars so far simply because I liked my sales guy that much but the lady in the general office who I paid was unfriendly and I would even call her rude. First of all, she didn't ask if I wanted to pay in full or if I was going to put 20% down, which I just thought I would do because I was going to be purchasing more things over the next week as I make decisions and it will be easier for me to keep track of my budget that way. So, then she was like well we're going to have to delete your scheduled delivery date then (which was never mentioned to me by the salesperson and we very carefully selected a delivery date). And said that multiple times. Didn't thank me for my business. Didn't say anything friendly. I'm really glad that the sales guy was actually extremely nice because if I had dealt with that beforehand I would have walked right out the door. You should teach your general office people how to give good customer service like your sales people try to. I'll update when I figure out if delivery goes well. We ordered furniture almost a year ago, and when RC Willey finally called to say it was in I tried to pay the amount due. Thank goodness I was at home when they told me the amount because the total did not match what was on my sales order. I was told they would talk to my sales associate and get back to me. 10 days later, on 03/26/2022, I had to call them back and was told the wrong amount again. The gentleman helping me this time said that it looked like the order was rewritten on 03/25/2021. I replied that's the date I ordered the furniture. At least this time, they allowed me to send them a picture of my sales order. They called back and said they would make an adjustment and except the amount shown on my sales order. I was told that after such a long time, the computer automatically takes away the sale prices. That's a terrible practice by RC Willey. I wanted my furniture the day I bought it, and circumstances beyond my control caused this delay. Please double-check your sale order to ensure this doesn't happen to you. I ordered about $5000 worth of furniture a few months ago. The first delivery arrived and it was damaged. The 2nd delivery arrived and again some pieces were damaged. When the 3rd delivery arrived, the store said that one of the pieces would not be in for another month so I took a substitute table instead, for a lower price. They refunded me the money a week later but then the week after that I received a bill for the exact amount that was refunded. I called the billing dept and they said the charge would be deleted. I called to make sure a few days later and now the charge had doubled. Every time I call them now the billing dept gives me the run around. They say they are looking into it and that I am indeed correct but they do nothing about it. read more

I purchased $9,000+ worth of appliances in April '21 including a fridge, freezer, dish washer, stove, microwave, and corresponding trim kits. The appliance representative, Josephine/Josie, called to schedule delivery of the dishwasher/stove and stated she sent me a delivery confirmation email. While still on the phone, I inquired what email she sent it to, as I had never provided her an email address and I had not received the confirmation. I was then informed it was emailed to my ex-wife's (of 5 years) email address. I requested Josie rescind the email to my ex and update my email address on file and remove my ex from my account completely which she informed me she cannot do over the phone and that I had to go down in person. While still on the phone with Josie, I requested confirmation of the delivery address, due to the fact my billing and shipping addresses were not the same; I was informed the appliance delivery was shipping to my ex-wife's house. Again, I requested to remove my ex-wife's information from my file and Josie told me she cannot, I had to respond in person. I appeared that day in person and I was able to close my outdated account that had my ex-wife's information attached to mine, but not without its own set of roadblocks. The customer service representative had to leave his podium window and get "manager approval" for EACH item I wanted to update: I updated my address, he left the window and went to a manager's office/back room for "approval", this happened again when I updated my email address and again when I closed my line of credit that perhaps was somehow associated to my ex-wife. The stove and dishwasher were eventually delivered to the correct address and the stove had a dent in it (which RC Willey did deliver a replacement after I called and requested a new item). Fast forward to the microwave. Due to numerous Covid delays the delivery date was postponed. I understand this is not RC Willey's fault, but it was never relayed to me that my microwave was not going to be delivered on the date that Josie had told me. After 2 weeks past the "delivery" date that Josie had told me, I called and was informed "we don't know when it will be in stock". I asked Josie about the reason for the delay and she said she'd investigate it and get back to me. She did not. When I called Josie a few weeks later and asked if she'd found anything out she said "No, I didn't try because you seemed annoyed." During this point of the phone call, I asked to speak to the appliance manager, and she said a manager wasn't working that day. I told her a customer service manager would be fine and she said none were working. I asked for any type of manager, and she said they'd all left for the day, so I hung up with her and called the generic RC Willey Henderson line and was transferred to the appliance manager who was indeed at the store at working; Josie had LIED and told me not a single manager was at the store. Once the microwave was finally in stock and delivered months later, they delivered it but they had apparently ordered me the wrong trim kit, so I called the store to resolve this issue and was able speak to a manager who told me he'd take Josie off my account (presumably due to her lack of care, ethic, communication, and basic knowledge). The manager ordered me the correct trim kit and it was ready for pick up a few days later. The final items I was waiting on were the fridge, freezer, and trim kits. Ten months after I placed the original order (I understand the shipping delays are not RC Willey's fault) I got a text from my ex-wife letting me know my items were in stock because you guessed it, RC Willey still managed to email my ex-wife the invoice and confirmation despite the fact I had taken every step to disassociate my ex-wife from the account: closed my line of credit, closed my account, updated my email address, updated my shipping address, had the invoice moved to a new invoice number, etc. Josie was still the sales associate and managed again to send this information to my ex-wife. read more

Bought a new dishwasher from this place AUG 2022. Also purchased an extended warranty. RC Willey will not honor the warranty. Sent a tech out and he refused to touch it because the RC Willey installer had put it in badly that damaged both the counter top and the flooring and the dishwasher itself, he also said the original installer cut the feet off of the dishwasher. Rc Willey says they are not responsible for damage done by their installer. Tech told me to get my own handy man to pull the dishwasher out and then maybe it could be fixed. Finally Willey sent another installer out to pull it. Took 5 minutes now it sits in the middle of my kitchen. What am I suppose to do with this? They don't stand behind the products they sell. They don't use competent repair techs. And the sure don't honor the 5 year extended warranty I purchased. Shame on RC Willey. They lost a long time customer and I also canceled my flooring order and will go elsewhere. I bought my water heater and it's the worst experienced I ever had. From delivery and installing it. They recommend a plumbing company that they said very professional and they highly recommended it but it end up it's the worst service I ever had. Just to make everything right they end up sending four different people back and fort just to install my water heater. Every time they tell me different prices if they need to change something...but to begin with I already pay RCWILLEY for the INSTALLATION service $600 on top of my water heater. Both managers there telling each other not their fault back and fort. All I wanted is to have my water heater installed properly. Got flooded in my Patio, Ding on my wall and the INCONVENIENT for the rescheduling 5 times just to have it installed. Then finally RcWilley manager called me and said I'll send you $200 gift cards just to make it up for All the problem...till now didn't receive anything from that manager. So many different employees have helped use over the many visits last year and this year and all but one was great. I checked online and even visited a few home stores to see if I could find exactly what I needed. After visiting three stores I decided to go to RC Wiley. Wow! I had so many choices and so many options and there were quite a few that met with my specifications and budget! Why did I not come here to begin with? I found the perfect refrigerator and the RC Wiley representative was absolutely the best. He showed me a variety of refrigerators that met my needs. I found one and it was delivered two days later. Spoke to someone in finance about this issue and they seemed very nonchalant like oh so sorry but what can you do. Never will i shop these people. Take your money else where if you wanna be treated like a human. The 1 star is because of the finance department. The guy in electronics, Royce, was awesome and knowledgeable. He didn't try to oversell and met my needs regarding a tv. For him I'd give a 5 star. The finance department is at zero stars which I average out at a 1. While I qualified for financing, I find it very rude that the woman asked me if I had cleaned up my credit from 2007. WTF does that?! First of all I wouldn't be standing here if I had not. And secondly I would think after 12 years I'd have my act together. I felt incredibly insulted. Also, it's easier to finance a car with the garbage RC Wiley's ask. If you're self employed and work off a cell phone because your an independent contractor how can they not accept that as your work number. Instead you have to make up a number which is completely ridiculous in order to continue this process. And WTF with the finger printing?! Listen, I can buy a $50K truck with no issues but these jackholes want a fingerprint for a TV that's $1200. This is ridiculous. My nearly four year old KitchenAid dishwasher (which had been part of the builder's kitchen appliance package) had been slowly dying over the last six months (we'd replaced the motor two years ago), and finally, a few nights ago, it died with a full load of unwashed dishes. I checked Consumer Reports and decided to purchase a Bosch product. I first checked the "big box" stores--terrible customer service, and too little product knowledge or inventory of Bosch models. We had prior good experience with RC Willey, so we decided to try them again--good decision. Sales Associate Tony Jackson immediately came to assist me. He was very knowledgeable about the various Bosch models, including the distinct features of each model series, and the details of installation. My only disappointment is the "back order" status of the model I selected, but the excellent customer service and the availability of the Bosch appliance in the right model and color ease the pain of washing dishes by hand the next few weeks. read more

My husband has had his eye on that chair and ottoman ever since we purchased our beautiful bedroom set from our awesome salesman Tony Costa at the Summerlin RC Willey. COVID-19 slowed down a lot of people shopping however as soon as I knew they were open we went back in there. We were in need of some kind of an accent chair so when we went back in there we ended up purchasing the chair and the Ottoman on the spot and taking it home the same day. The chair is very comfortable and it's nice to be able to put your feet up on the nice soft leather ottoman. Definitely worth the purchase. My first visit went extremely well! I was able to purchase a washer and dryer set and pick up the same day. I chatted with Jesse the day before my purchase to set up an appt but ended going into the store before my scheduled appt and Mike was able to help me with my order and then we headed to the register and Colin helped us there. I would say in less than 20 minutes we were in and out of the store. We later returned to pick up our items and we waited less than 10 minutes for will call to load us up. I had purchased 2 mattresses ( 1 king and 1 queen) 2 Ace bed box springs and frames. We had specifically informed sales representative Maggie that we needed a universal frame to fit the headboards. At the time Maggie had informed us that the Ace bed box spring/frame would do the job and that it was an all in one box spring, frame and bed skirt. Since they didn't have the Healthcare comfort Gel and foam mattress in stock that it would be 2 weeks to receive the mattress. We had informed her that we wanted the King size Ace box spring/frame to be delivered at the same time as the bed. January 29, 2020 we received the Queen mattress and the 2 all in one box frame which we had specifically informed her that we wanted it delivered the same time we received the king size bed. So now I have this king bed frame set up without a mattress. No problem! February 7, 2020 received the King size gel/foam mattress. Per Maggie it takes up to 4 hours for the bed to hydrate. We were trying to be fair and allowed it 24 hours since it was not hydrating more than 5 inches. This is supposed to be a 10 inch mattress. To be fair we gave 2 days and realized that it was not going to hydrate any more. I had called Maggie and texted her pictures measuring the size of the bed. She informed us that unfortunately RC Wiley does not do refunds and that it's exchange only. Also they have a one time re selection if your unsatisfied with the mattress. I told her this shouldn't even be considered a re selection since it was a manufacturer defect and we haven't used the bed. She called us back and said that her manager had informed her that we had received the last "bad batch" of this specific mattress that there have been complaints on this specific mattress. She further stated that the new model will be made, however, we would have to wait another 2 weeks for the order. We weren't given any other choice but to reselect another mattress. On Presidents Day Maggie recommended us the Blue Burrito. She said that there was unheard of complaints on this specific mattress but again she said that about the Healthcare mattress. Sitting there frustrated and skeptical about getting another mattress she had informed us that we had 30 days to try the mattress out and if we didn't like it we can return it and again reselect another mattress. We had informed Maggie that we don't want to have to repeatedly return mattresses due to the company's manufacturers defects. Our intentions is to just buy one mattress only without going through this whole process which takes a lot of time out of our day. In the meantime we were looking for headboards since Maggie was on lunch break we had ask another sales associate on the floor if the headboards we were interested would be compatible with the base we had purchased. Per sales associate unfortunately this type of base has no headboard brackets or fitting. At this point we were beyond frustration since we specifically asked upon purchase. I had text Maggie who had called back and had informed us that she was under the impression it had attachments. She said she would check with the vendors and get back to us. We haven't heard back and tried to be understanding that just maybe she got busy since it was Presidents Day. After a few text she responded back saying she was waiting on the vendors response and that only certain headboards will fit the base since it is not universal. Hmmm how does that work when there's no brackets or fitting on the bed frame? I had called and left a supervisor to call me back. Supervisor Matthew returned my call and was very rude and unprofessional attempting to place blame on his associates. He sounded like Bravia and Butthe!!! A complete idiot that does not know how to treat his customers and I am more surprised that some another idiot would promote him as a manager because he needs to be reoriented and trained on customer service skills!!!! This is my second big purchase from RC Wiley the first time was minor such as poor workmanship on the side tables and staples on the couch but this has got to be the worse experience ever. I would never ever purchase from RC again. I will take responsibility on my part and research the company before I spend any effort, time or money !!! People do your research and read reviews. Pay close attention to warranties and quality. They convinced me to purchase extra warranty, thinking it covered more than it actually does. I've had my couch for a year and the back is already broken with wood poking through, ottoman is also completely caved in and ruined. We walked in with sparkles in our eyes. Furniture, electronics, appliances AND flooring in ONE location? With a 4 bedroom home to furnish, we said this is IT and then we met the staff. What a freaking waste of time. Getting service was like asking people to line up for teeth extractions. First salesperson we told we wanted to buy a coffee table, sorry we don't have it in stock (picture large man looking everywhere but at us, chewing gum). When will you have it in stock... ehhh couldn't get it here before Monday afternoon, maybe. (me) Is there anyway we could have it shipped earlier? (stares straight at me) Not unless you wanna drive to Salt Lake City, (giggles and walks away) WTF seriously? Next salesperson we met in dining section. She was awesome, Eilene, very knowledgeable, VERY personable and extremely helpful. Unfortunately what we wanted in this section was ALSO out of stock. Strike two Next section was bedrooms, we find the exact decorative pieces we have been looking for, they are mounted on a wall above one of their bed displays. I go looking for Eilene, she's no where to be found. So I go looking for a salesperson, 2 rooms away I walk into the mattress section. Three salesmen hanging out in here. They are chit chatting, one even has a piece of foam in his hand and he is playing toss. I said excuse me, Elvis turns around and says Yeah (no may I help you, nope nothing) I said can you help me purchase something in a different area. His response, what are you buying? I said accessories. As he is turning away from me, he says, yeah, just take that yourself to the office, they can help you there. Then he went back to his two coworkers and continued their conversation. I guess I had interrupted them, shame on me. Take into account that this was on a Saturday when they were running sales. Most furniture stores I have ever been in, follow you around and if you even look up they come running to assist, NOT at RC Willey. Staff is HORRIBLE here!! Management if you are reading this, you are paying these people to sit around and do NOTHING. The sad part is we liked the furniture they sell here, but I seriously doubt we will be back. I would hate to think if we liked a couch, would we have to lug it to the back to the office to buy it on our own?
