We are remodeling our kitchen and the first item I purchased was a $10K Subzero refrigerator with the intent of buying double ovens, steamer and and induction range top. But, we got such horrible customer service from the sales guy we have opted to purchase everything else someplace else. The lack of communication and attention to detail was unbelievable. I don't expect to be treated like a princess, but I expect organized delivery and installation service - I felt like a cow waiting in a line to pick up my daily feed ration. Get your item, move on. The guy knew we were looking for other appliances and never bothered to follow-up or even send us a thank you note. Oh, did I mention I'm looking for other furniture, too as part of the remodel. I am not a person who puts reviews out but I was really unimpressed by the way we got treated this time. I purchased my king bed and my kids bed there when they delivered the beds they didn't use the proper skews they use nails to place the railings in. When my husband told them about that the next day that they said they couldn't give us the proper screws. Also they ended up not delivery all the items for my sons bed, my husband ended up having to pick up the rails even though we had paid for delivery anyways no big deal but they ended up charging us for the rails and placing them on my husbands RC Wiley's credit card without us authorizing it, when we had paid cash for everything. read more

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! We went into the store last week to browse some TVs, our salesman Josh R was VERY helpful and friendly, not pushy at all!! When we went to the counter to finalize the order the lady printing the receipt and finishing our transaction was rude and somewhat demeaning. The one helpful thing (we thought) she did was write on our receipt to call them tonight after 7PM so we can get a timeframe for the install tomorrow... So I called tonight after 7 and was told they cannot give any information and calling was going to do nothing. I was told, in other words, to sit around tomorrow and wait for a call to tell me a 3 hour time frame window of an install... if I treated customers how this lady on the phone did at my job, I would not have a job. They were great went in there got really good help bought a sectional sofa from them with recliners but a- year later the handles for reclining back broke called to get some help no one gives a dang can't get anyone to help us fix these chairs I've been there 3 times they take my name my phone number and never get back to me won't buy anything else from them there they have a great selection but after you buy beware read more

My 1st experience with them was good. I purchased an entire living room set and it was delivered quickly. I had to return an ottoman because it was too big and replace the chair due to damage to a corner. All of that went smoothly. So after 4 visits to look at sectionals for another room, I finally picked one. I was told by 3-4 different sales people that I could order it in ANY of the material samples they had. I even specifically asked if it only came in the materials attached to it and was told NO. I finally picked the fabric, the order was entered into the computer and I paid. The next afternoon I got a call from the sales person saying they could NOT do the sectional in that fabric. Only the ones attached to it (which I had already asked about). and did not like! Training must be poor since more than 1 person was mis-informed. I had to call, wait on hold to get a refund. And am still waiting for a call from the manager. That's ridiculous! At the end of March I ordered flooring to be placed in my kitchen, dining room, and entryway. I informed the sales-woman I would not be picking up the flooring from the store until mid May. She stressed to me that that was fine and it could stay there until I was ready for install. So every single week I received phone call reminders that the flooring was ready to be picked up right away. After calling her and leaving many messages she finally called me back and we briefly spoke. I told her if she could have an installer come to my house to measure I would get the flooring afterwards. So the very next day (Thursday) a man called and left a voice mail, saying he was wanting to come over the following Monday to do the measurements and to please call him back or text to confirm. The very next day my daughter went up going into the hospital for a few days. So I did not call or text him back because it was not priority. That Monday morning came by my 12year old daughter was doped up sleeping on the couch while I went to work. Wednesday came around and she was finally feeling better and coherent. She then told me that she forgot to inform me a man came over at 8 a.m. Monday morning ring the doorbell said he was here to do measurements and walked in. He did not ask if an adult was here he did not ask if I was here. This man let himself inside my home with my minor daughter unaccompanied and uninvited. I called the corporate office and Salt Lake City they told me they could not help me I did not call the manager at the Boise store because everybody was gone on vacation. So six weeks ago I went and talked to the only manager on site at the Boise store and told him exactly what happened. He said he would get back to me by the following week after he talked with the installer to see exactly what happened. As we were talking I could tell that he was not interested in my concerns and I had a feeling he would not touch back with me and here it is the second week in June and still have not had any resolved. I have cancelled all orders for redoing my kitchen and my floor with RC Willey. The manager did not care that I had canceled all orders even after telling him that I spent $12,000 in the last 4 years Furnishing my home through RC Willey. I love RC Willey and their furniture collections but this is uncalled for. Not only to the installer come Uninvited but no manager has taken any initiative to make this right!!! read more

We ordered a table from here and it came broken, so they sent it back and it took 6 weeks to get a new table in stock. That table was also broken. It then took them an additional 4 weeks to get another table. Since we had recieved two broken tables the told us they would give us $100 off of our purchase. When they finally got a table in stock that was not broken, they didn't honor their promise of $100 off. DO NOT SHOP HERE. read more

The bun kettle boards are smashed out in less than a year. Called rc customer service they told me it may be my new bed? I offered to bring in so we could exchange they said no we will send service tech? Then said they would call with three hour window on Wednesday. Big box store with very unengaged staff! Bought a reclining 2 piece couch a couple months ago. They delivered it and set it up. After they left we reclined it and it got stuck in the reclined position. It took a few days but they sent a technician out to fix it. He added a USB port for free. That was nice. Last weekend we decided to buy the EXACT same couch as we had company coming this weekend. We went in, found our salesman and said "we want the exact same couch as last time." Easy sale. He put in the order and we went over and also bought a dishwasher. $2000 later we were out of there. We picked up the couch to save time vs delivery. Got it home and the 2 pieces were TOTALLY wrong and didn't fit together at all. I took pictures and texted them to our salesman. Still haven't heard from him. I called the store and (after being on hold for quite a while) they said they would re order it and if I wanted it soon, I would have to bring these back and pick up the new ones. I asked if we could get some money off for all the inconvenience and she said she would give us a $75 gift card for their store. REALLY???? Not happy at all. They were less than apologetic and acted like it was no big deal that it was wrong. read more

We purchased a couch and recliner in December of 2015. The chair had a problem that happened at the manufacturers end and I ended up receiving and returning 3 chairs before we got one that didn't have the problem. Our sales person was Bambi, and she was great, she never left us hanging and always got back to us about the issue, she keep us updated on what she was doing to resolve the problem. It took 3 months to resolve, I always felt that Bambi listened and did everything she could to help resolve the problem. This is the first time we have purchased from RC Willey and if we go back we would definitely ask for Bambi. read more

Bought an LG fridge from RC Willey, paying over $3400 and it is a piece of junk. Had to deal with LG myself (they replaced it as there were numerous problems with this model) and the new one is no better. I contacted RC Willey and was told they could not do anything about it. In fact the woman I talked to was rude to the point she hung up on me. I have spent thousands of dollars at RC Willey and will never grace their store again. HOT! HOT! HOT! CUSTOMER!! I have purchased my entire home furnishings at RC Willey Meridian, Idaho for the past 20 plus years. I just purchased additional items in October 2016, and have been very disappointed. I cannot list all the problems I have had with my coffee table and customer service. My calls to customer service were good until I was transferred to KAT! She has a complete lack of communication skills, she was rude and argurmentive, and didn't even bother to look at the photos we were requested to send in after the repair tech couldn't make it out on his scheduled appointment due to a snow storm. Our coffee table is so badly warped, the pictures clearly showed. Kat informed me that we would have to go through the warranty process and that it could take at long as 30 days. Kat also let me know RC Willey cannot return every defective piece of furniture, and also that she has been there 16 years and they never send a manager out to your home (not true, as I had furniture manager Dave out in 2011 and he was wonderful) Kat also refused to give me a name, phone number or email to contact anyone else. Well to sum this up, a nail has popped up from the top of the coffee table now and has sliced my husbands finger! The entire top of the coffee table comes right off. We were told Friday that they have agreed to replace it this Wednesday 1/11/17. I am at this time requesting a full refund on this item, I have done my research and found many problems with this brand, i.e. splitting wood, warping etc. We had planned to purchase the matching end table and couch table after Christmas. I am not going to purchase additional items from this brand or RC Willey with a manager like Kat. My time and money will be better suited at the many, many furniture stores in the Treasure Valley! Also just to let you know, I had also purchased a $900.00 electric recliner, sofa and love seat during the October 2016 purchase. The recliner has already had the motor replaced in December and continues to lean to the left even after the tech re-stuffed it, the couch and love seat required a tech out Friday 1/6/17 to sew up many area's where the couch trim was coming open. It appears to me that RC Willey has just become a store that tries to throw money at customers that complain. My daughter just had a sofa/love seat deliver to her new home with a broken leg and again they offered her money to keep it! A couple of weeks I bought a large Sony LED flat screen TV. The sales rep, Bill S., in electronics was great. He walked me through the merits and issues of each set, and I was able to pick the set that fit my needs the most. After we got the set purchased, the warehouse crew was very careful to open the box and inspect everything, with me there. After I was satisfied, they packed up everything and loaded it into my truck, roping it down for stability. Though it may sound like I was demanding, all of the above was done without my asking. Everyone from Bill to the warehouse crew, very professional...and by the way, very satisfied with the product. read more

We had purchased a couch and a love seat from their parking lot sale, loved the furniture. One day our puppy decided to chew a hole through our couch cushion....I contacted their customer service department and asked if I could order these couch cushions individually,purchase the outter fabric to upholster my own, or if she knew of any upholstering places in the valley with similar fabric. With these questions the young girls responses we rude and I felt as a customer my issues were not important and she was just trying to get me off the phone. I was not satisfied with the responses she gave me so I contacted RC Willeys corporate customer service and spoke with a wonderful lady who put me in touch with Lex at the Meridian Location. Lex helped tremendously and we were able to special order the cushions. About two weeks after I placed the order I had an uneasy feeling while staring at my couch. I called to ask when they could expect my shipment and then I realized that we never truly discussed which cushion I needed, did I tell them the couch or the love seat? So I contacted Meridian Customer Service yet again, just to reassure myself that it was for the COUCH. I was placed on hold for about 15 minutes and once the lady returned she made me aware that the order was coming from oversees and they didn't have a specific date, she also told me that I placed the order for the larger couch cushions. I repeated again that I needed them for the larger couch not the love seat (as I have heard they order things wrong quite frequently). She said yes ma'am that is what they are for. I was pleased with this answer and hung up. I finally get a call 2.5 weeks later letting me know the cushions had arrived. I headed right over and to my disappointment they were for the love seat, and were too small. Walking back into the pick-up customer service desk the girl working basically told me that this is what I ordered and I don't know what to do for you. The gentleman working in the warehouse was more helpful than she was. She got on the phone to call up to the main customer service desk where they proceeded to have an unprofessional conversation in front of me about the girl who placed my order (saying she placed the order without asking the specifics and assuming it was for the love seat), She then proceeded to say that she wasn't happy because she was now placed in the middle of my frustrations. After hanging up I contacted Lex who was easier to work with, and I vented my frustrations. I was kind of disappointed because all he did was try to find the reasoning for why the mistake was made. He never offered anything for my troubles, and having to wait another month making it about 2 months before I get what I ordered. He told me that there would be no charge to order the new ones.....NO KIDDING. a week or so before receiving the wrong cushions and before all this rudeness ensued I purchased a brand new 6 piece bedroom set from them as well. Had I known I was going to be continuously treated the way I was, I would have taken my business elsewhere. read more

We have had the worst experience with RC Willey over the past few years. Purchased a whole houseful of new furniture when we purchased our new home in July 2013. Bought top-grain leather and paid extra for the leather/fabric protection and warranty. Within a few months the leather started to flake on the loveseat. I delayed calling RC Willey, but when I finally did they sent someone out to take pictures. They said it would need to be repaired and that it would take "a few months" to get the "parts" in. Then they wanted to take the loveseat for close to a month to do the repairs. This was unacceptable, so we asked to swap the defective loveseat for a new one. They initally refused, but eventually agreed if we paid a re-stocking fee (something like $250-$300). A few months later the new loveseat did the same thing! We started the whole process again and have now waited months for the "part" to arrive. They called today and said the wrong part came in and they would have to re-order. Their customer service department is difficult to reach without sitting on hold for long periods of time, and they are completely unreasonable to work with. We purchased a top-grain expensive sofa set and have essentially watched it flake away since we got it. I will not be buying furniture from RC Willey in the future and I would encourage others to avoid them as well. They appear squeaky-clean and pro-customer when you're buying, but their follow-through and overall customer service is awful! read more

A new low in customer service... After moving from Louisiana I chose to purchase my appliances from RC Willey because I wanted to do businesses with a local company in my new home town. All my appliances were delivered the day I moved into my NEW house and the delivery men tore two big gashes in my brand new floor before making a quick exit. Initially I felt reassured that RC Willey would resolve this issue but it has been several weeks and no progress since the initial assessment. I feel I have been extremely understanding throughout this ordeal but I have reached my limit with chasing down updates and/ or trying to move my claim forward. There seems to be only one person that handles claims and follow up on "next steps" have been at a stand still since the contractor inspected my home and assessed that the floor could not be patched or repaired over a month ago. No one from the Meridian, ID store has contacted me to let me know anything about replacement of my floor. Despite numerous phone calls and emails requesting any information about a course of action, I have had no response. I really regret my decision to purchase my appliances from a company that has absolutely no intention of resolving their customer claims. Really disappointing that my first experience as a new home owner will involve having to seek legal action to get my damaged property fixed read more

We visited this store in search of a new couch. We just moved to Idaho and needed new furniture. Walking in the store has a lot of cute items and it looked inviting. We were greeted at the door and then it was a constant flow of new sales associates asking if we needed help. Every 10ft we were approached my someone new. It began to bother us because we were excited to be buying a brand new couch as husband and wife. We wanted the experience of talking it over and sitting on almost every couch in peace until we found the one we liked. Halfway through the store we were sitting on a couch chatting about it and a lady asked if she could help...we said no we were fine thank you, but she stayed there. She then again tried starting a conversation asking what we were looking for, etc...we said we were trying to decide, and she wouldn't leave. We started to feel like we were on a car lot with this salesperson hovering over us and decided we did not want to even be in that store any longer let alone buy from them. We ended up going down the road to Ashley Furniture where we had a much more relaxing and fun experience. read more

We Love RC Willey. In Arizona, we were shoppers of Mor Furniture, but the Mor here is not the same. We found RC Willey, and have bought many appliances from them. Our TV died, RC Willey hooked us up. In 2014 alone, in a 3 month span, our Refridgerator, Oven/Stove, and Dishwasher all went out. All Items from Sears, that the builder put in 7 years ago (not a good lifespan). We replaced 2 items at RC Willey. We would have done all 3 but got the fridge on clearance (scratched but new) elsewhere. They price matched, they listened to what our needs were, they got us what we wanted, in our price range. Then we replaced our beds. All salesmen were friendly and helpful. The people at checkout can smile and be a little happier and friendlier, but overall, we've had nothing but good experiences. Next up, Washer and Dryer (bought set from sears 7 years ago, and they are horrible, and already breaking down). Where we will go, Most Likely, RC Willey. Thanks RC Willey and Staff. read more

Just moved to the area and went shopping for mattresses for the entire family. Went to several area stores to hunt for the best prices. RC Willey came in lowest and that included a 48" TV. Simon, the sales person was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Scheduled delivery for two days later. I was told delivery would be between 7:30-9:00am. Delivery guys arrived at 7:45 and set up everything taking care not to do any damage moving everything through the house. After they left I realized they forgot the mattress cover and there was a small tear on the mattress. I emailed Simon who responded right away. He offered to replace the mattress or a credit to cover the damage. My schedule made it easier to pick up the cover at the store's customer service. When I got there it was waiting for me along with instructions on the credit for the damage to the mattress. I was in and out in just a few minutes. Great service! read more

I would tell you NOT to buy anything from this store and never pay for the extended warranty! We bought a frigidaire refrigerator almost two years ago. We have spent hours and hours and hours with repair men here trying to fix and it is still not fixed. We have had many problems with it, but the biggest problem is the ice maker. We spent almost $2000.00 on this fridge and have gone weeks at a time with no ice because it keeps breaking. We did buy the extended warranty and we have had over 20 visits from appliance companies to fix it. RC Willey claims they can keep sending people out but can't replace it because we bought the warranty!???? After over 20 visits trying to fix the ice maker we still have pieces of plastic and styrofoam falling into our ice maker. It is not only an inconvenience to have someone come to your house a few times a month to try and fix it but it also worries us because we have 4 small kids that are getting their own ice and could be drinking the plastic and styrofoam. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! THEY ARE VERY WILLING TO SELL YOU ANYTHING (EVEN CRAP THAT DOESN'T WORK) BUT THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO REPLACE IT WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG! I have been searching and searching for rugs, I stopped in this location yesterday 7-27-15 and saw that they had the brand I was looking for and it was about 60.00 more than every other place I had saw it. The prices at RC WILLEY are totally ridiculous!!! I called today and ask if they did price match, the RUDE lady on the phone interrupted me and asked if I had gotten the prices and shopped on line.... yes I had and she abruptly stated " we do not price match the internet: that's fine I said, and then proceeded with what I had wanted to say and that was that for 60.00 less I saw it at Demyer furniture next door, her reply I couldn't believe!!!!! " well if their prices are so low maybe you should just go there!! WOW!!!!! She huffed around the store and finally was able to find the rug and pretty much agued with me about the color I was asking about and knew it came in. Finally she was able to tell me it was out of stock and would take 4-6 weeks to get it to me.... I said but we can order it and then after she said yes with a sigh, I told her thank you and before I could say good by she hung up on me!!! I was able to get her name "Kathy with a K" and her managers name and I will be calling and letting Mr Ebert know what kind of employee they have. For 60.00 thank you very much I will be going to Demyer I would rather spend the money than deal with Rc Willey employees. RG read more
