This store has epically failed on my couch order. I originally explained to the sales woman that I have a unique entry way to my apartment. I took photos and measurements. Two of their sales people convinced it me to go ahead and order the one I wanted because they were "sure" it would fit. The couch did not fit and the delivery men actually said "don't listen to the sales people, they're just trying to sell you a couch." Then I went back and chose a sectional so it could fit in the apartment in separate pieces. I scheduled a delivery date and moved my furniture and scheduled a pick up for my old couch. The day of the delivery, they called and said they had ordered one of the pieces incorrectly. So I cancelled the pick up of my old couch. I waited 6 to 8 weeks again for them to get the correct pieces. I scheduled a new delivery when they said it was ready, I scheduled my old couch to be picked up. The day of delivery, they called and said they think they have the wrong pieces and checked and said they had the correct pieces. They never showed up or called me back to say they actually DIDN'T have the right pieces. They had ordered it incorrectly AGAIN. I then had to wait another 6 to 8 weeks for them to order the correct piece. At this time the original sales woman had left the company so I was speaking with someone totally different. Then i received a message saying my couch was ready. I called and spoke to customer service to schedule the delivery and made it clear that I was expecting to end pieces and a middle piece. She said it was all set. So I moved all my furniture and took the day off work again to be there. THEY ONLY BROUGHT THE MIDDLE PIECE. And I had to schedule another delivery day for the other two pieces that were sitting in their wear house. I just don't understand how a company can mess up an order this bad. They have horrible policies and are always messing up our orders. We have bought a few things from them and they don't record payments, give you a different item than you bought, and have little in stock. We went to use a gift card we got to help make a payment on an item and they informed us that gift cards are only good for new purchases. We have been long time loyal customers of RC Willey. We recently had an experience where a fridge we purchased, along with the extended warranty, completely destroyed the beautiful floor in our BRAND NEW house. This could have been avoided. I called every time that it had an issue (5-6) different times. Each time RC Willey sent someone out, and just basically put a bandaid on it. The final time a servicemen came, our fridge was deemed unrepairable, but some how this information was never reported to us! So a few weeks later I came home to a massive puddle of water under my fridge. I called and was treated so horribly by the woman I spoke to with the warranty department. Even though this was RC Willeys fault, and that I had an extended warranty, she said that they were absolutely in no way responsible. Then she gave me less than $1000 to go pick out a new fridge. The entire thing was a complete slap in the face!!! We had picked out a new recliner for my husband who works over 60 hours a week serving the community, but after we got the bid to fix our floor, and ended up spending more on a decent fridge- there was no way that we could afford a nice chair that he so deserves. We are incredibly disappointed to say the least. We have taken our business to RC Willey happily for years. We have furnished 4 different homes in the last 7 years, but after the way that we were treated through this mess... I'm saddened to say that we won't be back. ***UPDATE- the general manager of the meridian store contacted me personally in response to my review. He is so kind! He asked me to tell him what had happened, and he listened to the whole story. He obviously was not able to fix our floor, but he did ask us to come into the store so that he could try to make a bad situation better. I most likely will not buy appliances from RC Willey anymore, but because of John Jensen's kindness- we will continue to shop there. Big store with a great deal to choose from but the service is absolutely horrible. We bought over 10K worth of furniture which took about 4 or 5 separate deliveries to get it all to the house. All but one of the deliveries contained damaged furniture which we had to send back. Many of the damaged pieces they "didn't carry anymore" or were "back ordered". So we chose to get refunds and shop elsewhere. Well this is where the service ended. The saleslady was nice until we wanted the refund for the damaged furniture. Now it's excuses, unanswered messages, and no return phone calls. We will never buy from this place again. read more

Don't just don't. For one they're literally just out to make a sale. I purchased a couch from them for a grand because they talked up their financing. Then I get forced into the acceptance now program... (Mind you my credit is perfectly fine) now I'm screwed into paying 1,600 more then what the couch is even worth. To top it off the last time I went into see where my payments were (back in March)I was told I had 4 months left. Called today and they are now telling me 7.4... seriously the woman told me 7.4 wtf This place is a joke. Don't shop here is not worth your time. And DEFINITELY DO NOT GO THROUGH ACCEPTANCE NOW. It's pretty pathetic a company would even allow such a disgusting financing option. The customer service at the Meridian store, flooring department is terrible. They have gotten our order wrong for the third time, again delaying our install. When you try and reach them difficult to get in touch with and not helpful. Last time we purchased carpet from them we had an issue and it took weeks to resolve. Today the installer showed up with the wrong cut of carpet. We made an hour drive to make sure they had our order right this time. So frustrating! read more

Last month I got a washer and dryer from RC Willey-- both work great and it was an awesome recommendation from the sales associate, Bob Pearson. He was SO GREAT to work with and every time I need to buy an appliance I will look for him personally. He was friendly and knowledgeable and answered every one of my questions (..and I had a LOT of questions). The delivery and install was great too! They came the next day and installed everything quickly and covered everything I needed to know. read more

We've bought electronics and furniture from here and have never had issues. They were great with customer service, and when we had to exchange a subwoofer it was no hassle and replaced within a couple days. Biggest word of advice if you buy here is, do your homework and make sure the item is the quality you want and best price in town. I arrived at this site by accident but I am shocked there are some negative reviews. I thought everyone loved RC Willey as much as I do. A fabulous selection & helpful sales staff=3 large multi-item purchases in 5 years! We think RC Willey is fabulous!!! I have never waited longer than 1 week for delivery--they charge $59 but its for the entire year no matter how many items we buy! Just shopped for bedroom furniture 3 days ago. We went into DeMeyer first then RCW. The suite we chose was prettier at RCW but it was actually the Sales Assoc, David Lavoie that sealed the deal. He was helpful but not pushy. I am very picky so when I got out my own mattress measurements to check the bed height, David was down on his knees measuring with me, helping me figure out how tall the bed will be with my old favorite mattress. In my opinion this was the worst kitchen appliance store available me and my family went to go and get a dishwasher after dropped ours off at the dump we got there and we bought the dishwasher and everyone was ok as far as staff wise but the plumber was on lunch for almost 3 and a half hours and the dishwasher didn't come with all the parts .5/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND read more

I would of chose no star but didn't have that choice so one star it is. Advertised a sweet deal for a Bosch Mixer for black Friday, got up stood in line luckily for only 15 minutes. An employee was walking down the line with the add in hand and letting everyone know what has already been sold out before the store even opened. The Mixer was sold out. He said they only had 10 in stock. What a crock. And false mislading advertising. At least we didn't get in the store. read more

It makes me sad to have to write this review about a store that we have frequented many times and have made many purchases over the past seven to ten years. But, this time I am very disappointed in R C Willey and their customer service. We moved to Idaho 6 months ago and purchased a refrigerator, tv set, sound bar, woofer and headphones for our new home. We have already had problems with the refrigerator had to have service at least 3 times and yesterday our tv quit working. I realize that R C Willey does not make the products but they don't even care about the customer and stand behind the product. I called customer service and was told a manager would call me back - I called at 10 am in the morning and at about 4 pm I called again after not hearing from the manager. I was then put on hold and then directly routed to his voice mail. Customer service didn't even get on the line and tell me they were forwarding me directly to voice mail. Very poor customer service. As of this writing I still have not heard from the manager. I did call the sales person and he called me back but told me that I needed to work with Sony directly. After 6 months the store is not responsible for the tv - I need to work with the manufacturer. This is disgusting. We are having company this weekend and now have to deal with this situation. We are very disappointed and are never purchasing from them again. We were going to check out the washers and dryers as we are in need of them as well but will not be looking at R C Willey. read more

We purchased a so called high end sectional from RC Willey about 15 months ago for $2200. After about 6-8 months all the throw pillows began to come apart. We had to make a 45 minute drive into the store to drop them off and then pick them up two weeks later. After about a year the fabric began to ball up and the seams began to tear. We called and told them the issue and they said that it was outside the warranty. We had to pay $69 for them to come to our house to write up the issues and send it off to the manufacturer. They hand stitched the tears in the fabric at our house. Oh Yeah, all the goose down feathers started to come out of all the pillows. Some mornings it looked like someone shot a bird in our living room. After about a month they said that they would give us liners to keep the feathers in the pillows. If we wanted new fabric covers, we had to buy them ourselves. They said, sorry, you should have called us before the warranty ended! Its pretty sad that they would not back their product. They had very poor customer service and were not willing to work with us. We will not be buying anything else this this company. I would recommend that you do the same. read more

Purchased $3k of laminate through them. Even though we discussed them removing the molding the salesman "forgot" to add it in and charged us an extra $200 after the fact. RC willey then set an appointment without consulting us on the time for the carpet person to come and finish the job and promptly broke a vase in my home and messed up the trim that was perfectly done by the original installer. Luckily, the original installer contacted us and will come fix it. The only time I was able to get the flooring manager to call me was by complaining through email and asking for the store manager. If you buy through them then you'd better hope you don't have any problems because they don't care. I'll never purchase another item from them again. You can get a better price and better service at many different local businesses. read more

Bought a $1,500 mattress and it did not last what so ever. Matress is less than 3 years old and the company sent out a rep to measure the mattress. The determined the matress had failed and had 1.5 Inch indentation. They stated that the box frame was not purchased at the time of the mattress or box springs so there is warrenty because of that. We bought a beautiful bedroom set last February. I knew what I wanted the moment I walked in the door having shopped around for the previous months. The check out took longer then expected which can be annoying with little kids but the sales lady gave us tickets for drinks and cookies while they waited! The guys came to our home, delivered and set up everything! We bought a King bed frame, dresser with mirror and a night stand. Ugh. We decided to try RC Willeys again since our first experience, although negative initially, turned out ok. But the experience we had today takes the cake. Hands down, this was the worst sales experience we have EVER had shopping for furniture or flooring. We specifically wanted inexpensive vinyl flooring and thought we found the specific product we wanted on their website. So we went in prepared to buy today. But when we got to the flooring department, we had to wander around to find the vinyl, which was on the opposite side of the store from the wall sign that said vinyl. We couldn't find the product that we saw on their website. And although you are approached frequently and often in the furniture section at RC Willey, we had to wait 10+ minutes for a sales person to offer to help us. And it turns out he was the worst salesman in the history of sales. He was inaccurate in his representation of vinyl tiles (which we didn't want), he was reluctant to answer questions, and he spent maybe 5 minutes with us. When he realized we didn't want vinyl tiles but sheet vinyl, he said "Well this is really all we have" and pointed at the small display and walked away without another word. My husband and I turned to look at each other with our mouths open. We have never been treated so poorly by a salesperson ever. We promptly walked out and won't be back again. read more

The show room is wonderful, but i must warn you IT IS HORRIBLE after you have purchased your product! I purchased a couch on the 2nd of Dec, it was backordered. ok i understand, not there fault. Said it would be in on the 14th. Got a call Jan 4 saying it was in. Said it would be delivered on the 11th. Well today is the 11th, i received no call from the delivery department so i called, she told me its still in Salt Lake and scheduled for the 18th. Pleas tell me, what good is a product sitting in salt lake for over 2 weeks that was bought and completely paid for 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately Boise is lacking in nice furniture stores. So I'm spending my night trying to plug a gaping hole in my wall because my "free delivery and installation amounted to dropping off my washer and dryer...denting the washer...leaving garbage on my bathroom floor and the old hoses in my sink. When they said they couldn't connect the dryer...they sent me to Home Depot to do it myself! I should have bought from Home Depot in the first place!!! My sales guy was slick. Just moved to Idaho from out of state. I bought a whole-room living room set, and a dishwasher from RC Willey. Love these guys. They're nice on the sales floor, not pushy, but there to help. Their prices are a bit high, but just shop around for the best price, and then go to RCW and they'll match the price, plus throw in something extra sometimes. Their delivery program is outstanding for people like me who are slowly filling a house with furniture and appliances. The thing that I thought was really cool was all 3 purchases I made I got a hand-written thank-you card from each of the salesmen. Who does that anymore? That meant a lot to me, being from California where they don't even say thank you when you leave the store. Little things like that go a long way and keep my loyalty to a place that does it.
