This is my second encounter with rc. My first encounter was a disaster and ended up costing me money. A few months later RC had a dresser that I was looking for at an incredible price. I contacted Michael Monroe my salesperson, purchased item over the phone and was delivered to the store within a few days. Allen and Michael ordered a second dresser just in case there was a potential issue. Went to the warehouse picked up the item, the nice gentlemen there unboxed to ensure there was no damage. My husband and I came in looking for a 50 or 55in TV to replace ours that had just broke from a different store. We came in wanting to spend only a certain amount of money and our salesman, Jaime, made our experience AMAZING. He asked all the right questions in what we were looking for in a new TV, and we NEVER felt pressured which is the best part. Jaime wanted to make sure we got the best for our money and that is exactly what he did. We ended up getting a bigger TV for under our budget! I have been painting our accent walls in our living and family room the last couple days. Surprisingly, my husband told me to go find some new furniture for both rooms. I was so excited to visit RC Willey, as we have purchased most of our home furnishings over the years from them. I arrived at around 2:30pm yesterday 8.3.17. The greeter was nice and said hello. There were about 6 sales associates throughout the couch department. Not 1 offered to help me or said hello!!!!!! I finally went up to one and asked a question. He answered it and that was it! No suggestions, no probing questions..NOTHING!!! I looked around another 15 minutes and left. No help, nothing. Wow! The only thing I can figure, is I had been painting before my visit. I had a bandana on, black t-shirt and capris. They were prejudging me! Fast forward to 6pm. My husband wanted to meet at the store. I told him no because of how I was ignored earlier. He talked me into going back because they have 18 months free financing. We enter. There's a different greeter. Hardly says hello. I walk over and tell her we need help for couches... I'm about ready to leave, when Amy McGee comes over. She was wonderful. She's an interior decorator also. I told her what had happened. She was very apologetic. We were in and out within 40 minutes with two sets of furniture. ×TIP to Manager× if you read this. I'm sure you have cameras throughout the store. Please watch the tapes. Purchased a couch and recliner there two years ago. The furniture is of good quality and I'd say I got an ok price on it all. What pisses me off is the salesman and the warranty. The salesman was pushing the extended warranty package. I asked specifically if it covered pet damage and was told it did. I reiterated that that was the only reason I was going to buy the warranty and was told it would. Fast forward two years and the damn dog scratches the leather. I call their warranty department, we tap dance for a week or so, and a guy comes out to inspect the furniture. One day later I get a voicemail telling me of course it's not covered, it's pet damage. You should have read your contract. That is very true. I should have read the contract. But when your sales associate assures me repeatedly that it will, it feels like maybe I had some false information to go on. If you purchase from these clowns, I would wait for the sales, stick it to them as best you can, avoid their BS warranty and question EVERYTHING their sales people say. After a derailed experience, RC Willey came through. The customer service followed up, my review was addressed, and my couch is back after my repair. The reason I am updating this is because I felt my service was good. If I could give negative stars I would! We purchased a washer and dryer and the warranties from RC Willey. The washer has broken down 3 times. Each time it breaks down you wait for a repair man to come out and diagnose it, then they want to ship parts to your house. Which includes about 3 weeks of waiting. Instead of providing the customer with a new machine or letting us pay the difference rc Willey would continue sending repair men out. So, I highly recommend that you don't purchase a washer or dryer from this company read more

We love RC Willey. We have been doing business with them for about 6 years now. This review is long overdue. We've always had great customer service here and have always had a great experience here. Our last salesman to help us was Mark Brewster and he was nothing but helpful (sorry to our other salesmen who's name I can't recall). My wife and I have purchased furniture from Ashley and American Furniture in the past and it didn't hold up as well as any of our RC Willey furniture. I recently moved to Sacramento and needed to purchase several room of furniture and appliances. I visited RCWILLEY and found it was a 1 stop shopping center. Kitchen- stove, refrigerator, dish washer and microwave. The delivery men could not install my stove because they did not have to proper fitting, that was ok because I once it was delivered I did not like it. Everything else went smoothly. I had 14 days so I choose a different stove and refrigerator. Kitchen table and chairs no issues. Family room- oh my goodness, I feel in love with a sectional, what I didn't realize was it appeared slightly smaller in the show room. I should have measured! They did exchange it out for another sectional upon delivery there was black oil on the center seat. Not good. Living room - I designed my living room around a dining table and chairs that I feel in love with and had to have them. Beautiful couch and chair and a cream color furry rug. 1st the chair to the couch had 1 leg shorter then the others- one of the deliverymen asked me what did I do to it ?????? Excuse me! They decided they was doing to fix it by tightening the leg.....it broke. Everything else was ok. I'm looking at the dining chairs and thought something it wrong with these chairs. Again I was accommodated by send 2 new chairs out. The delivery men notice that all of the chairs were broken to include the 2 he brought out. The chairs were not assembled correctly and all the screws were stripped.....fast forward 4 new chairs were delivered all of them were returned for the same problem. Dining table, the finish had pronounced bubbles in it and the joints were not finished. Upon my request they schedule me for this past Saturday for a pickup! I'm no longer interested in their sub standards products. Delivery/Pickup was scheduled between 1-4 pm. I call at 5 pm only to be told I was dropped from the manifest the night prior. We bought a set of sofas from them about 6 months ago. The first set that came had scratches on the legs and one of the sofas had a wire sticking out. They replaced that sofa. After a few months another sofa had a hole where two pieces of material sown together. The store replaced the sofa but they needed to be reminded a few times and when they brought the new sofa it was stained. In addition, the delivery guys stained my carpet as they don't remove their shoes or don't wear shoe covers. read more

I bought a reclining couch with a 1 year warranty and had 3 parts fail on me the 2USB ports and the recliner the USB ports were covered by the warranty but the warranty had just ended when the recliner broke they said they cannot give me a spare part or send a service tech out to repair because it is no longer under warranty I spent a lot of money on this couch that they refuse to help me fix it. All I need is a spare parts and I could do it myself but they don't do that if you don't have a warranty active. I would not recommend buying from them bad business and customer service. read more

The whole experience was very good from top to bottom. Had to pick out new washer/dryer since the old units went bad. Honestly I did my homework prior to going to the store so we knew which units we wanted. Walked in, showed the employee the print out of the unit we choose, talked for perhaps five minutes and decided to purchase new units. on the way to cashier we stopped to look at a new recliner for the office. Wanted one with lumbar support. Found it then proceeded to cashier. A very quick and easy process. Washer/dryer arrived next day. Two very capable delivery guys removed old units and brought in new units. I was expecting them to use dollies. They explained dollies can damage floors so they carried in and out the units. Some sort of harness apparatus the two guys wore. Impressed me! Chair arrived two days later. No problems. All in all a very good process from beginning to end. read more

The WORST place to buy anything !!! I purchased almost $11,000 worth of furniture and appliances at the store. During my first delivery date every single piece of the bedroom set was damaged, sofa, a dining room table and one chair. Not only furniture which I purchased was damaged my house was also damaged during the delivery. I bought a brand new home from JMC Construction they have damaged my doorway, scuff on floor and walls near stairway. I'm currently talking to Katie from claims department of RC Willey. she sent out an handyman within the first week which was good, but when the Handyman came he pointed out more damages to my door and he requested me to put that in the claims as well. I call Katie the following week and I mentioned about additional damages. it's been two weeks since then and they still have not send in a handyman to fix all the repair. A follow up call to keep me informed for the estimated date for repair would be great. I called pretty much every single day of this week and also left message yesterday. There was no call returned. I even called her this morning she did not pick up. so I decided to call her about 30minutes later with my co-workers cell phone then she picked up today. I am very upset because not only she did not return my phone call but they have also been screening my phone number and not picking up. This is not the customer service I expected especially when you spend $11000! read more

The store itself is very clean and tidy. There are always people around to help you with questions or for sales. We went in looking for a TV entertainment center with not much hope on finding one since most of them were out of our budget. The first gentlemen we spoke with was really helpful and answered all of our questions. He even let us know about their free delivery they had going on. We looked around some more and he went off, another gentlemen came by and helped us out for the sale. We mentioned the free delivery the other guy was offering since this guy was trying to tack it on for another $150 to $200 dollars. He changed it supposedly and we went to the counter to check out. They added it back on and we went back and forth on it for a bit. Finally got the free delivery and it was delivered a week later with no problems. The product is holding up pretty well now, but make sure to check your receipts! read more

He was quick to answer questions, happy to research to find the answers, and he always called me back in a timely manner. We appreciated his professionalism and quality service. He even called to make sure our installers showed up on time. I highly recommend you ask for Louis if you need new flooring. We bought this beautiful chair 3 years ago and I noticed that the piping was going through the material, I called RC Willey to have it repaired and they said the manufacturer warranty was only for a year. They said they could not repair or replace the chair. I told them that the material was defective and they said sorry. I will NOT buy anymore furniture from them. read more

We are so impressed by how ridiculously available he is to answer questions, on his days off!! The delivery crew was awesome. We received an email saying when they'd arrive, and they were right on time. They noticed an issue with a special order sofa before it came off the truck, and pointed it out to us so we could decide whether we wanted it brought in or not. We so appreciated that! We contacted customer service, and Michelle and her supervisor were very responsive and helpful. RC Wiley is a good store but is has some bad parts of it. They are really nice and greet you at the door. I usually let my son walk around since he has his phone and he is mature but this time when I walked in I told my son to go out and see some things he wants for his room why I look at mattresses. Those sections are close to each other but he had his phone so I was ok with it. When I told him in front of the man who greets people he yelled no no no he can't walk around by himself I told him multiple times I've done it a bunch he then said that is irresponsible and that we had to leave if I don't have him with me. He started walking over and yelling I asked for the manager and he came and said to get out. I do not recommend this store if you have a child. FUCK YOU! read more

Due to the also poor customer service at their distribution center, which we had to wait for an hour for a TV, and were helped after other customers arrived after us, even after they closed. We had to make it back to the store by 7:00 to pick up our final item which we couldn't do because of the hour wait at the distribution center. They told us that they called the store and they stated that they would wait for us. We arrived 5 minutes after they closed. At the door they waved us away and said we're closed. We purchased for $1,700.00 and within about 3 1/2 months (only warranties for 90 days) the screws holding the metal frame of the bed pulled apart from the particle board. Quality is terrible! The store manager reached out to me and agreed to supply replacement couches because of the poor quality of the couches we received. They are supposed to be delivered next week. I was told the repairs were taking so long because the manufacturers parts ship from overseas, but several months still seems excessive. I'm not pleased that such a large and expensive purchase has had so many issues and has taken so long to resolve. I'm hesitant to be excited to receive the new couches because I fear for the quality of the replacements but I am thankful the manager was willing to take action when all the other people we talked to provided no help and no answers. read more

Horrible service!!! Starting with the greeter they have at the front door. She looked pissed off to be standing there throwing off her negative vibe to every customer that walked in. I went over to the backyard furniture section and picked out a big umbrella and table, I asked the sales guy if it came with four chairs. The salesman stated it did come with four chairs but that they only had two and if I wanted the other two I would have to go to Reno. I went over to the grill section and they were all overpriced compared to Lowe's very confusing. I went over to the headphone section because I was looking for New headphones to work out. I asked the sales guy with the difference was between the beats three headphones for $300 and the Bose headphones for $200. He said he didn't know but that he had not encountered anybody that had returned any of the headphone sets that he had sold, keep in mind that the return section is in another department. I told him that I will also be purchasing a toaster and he told me that he apologize but that model is out of stock, this is something that RC Willys is famous for selling merchandise that they don't have in stock. I told the sales guy that I was interested in some reclining entertainment chairs, the ones on display had three chairs but I explained to him that I only needed to know if you can break them up. He stated that wasn't his department but that he would get somebody out to assist me and nobody ever came out. When I finally went to make my final purchase which consisted of a pair of beats three headphones a Nest indoor camera, a few Electronic accessories and a toaster that I didn't want , the sales guy asked me for my Id. I explained to him that I had just came from the gym and did not have my wallet but that I had my identification on my phone. He spoke to a manager which told him that I will not be able to purchase anything. I explained to him that federal and state agencies accept an identification me even if it's on a phone and he said that he was sorry. In my humble opinion if you go to Lowe's, Costco and any furniture store You can find the same merchandise at about 30% less. I will NEVER EVER shop here again . I don't even know where to begin, but unless you plan on waiting 4-7 days for delivery and set up, I highly suggest you don't buy from them if you're in any type of hurry for furniture . I needed furniture quick because of a move so I chose the option to pick up what they had in their warehouse and get it put together without their help . I grabbed a truck and went to pick it up from their warehouse . We waited exceptionally long wait times when they were clearly not busy just to get the deal finished .workers were rude, Irritated and clearly showed they preferred to be elsewhere than dealing with customers . Once I finally got it home , I hired some people to put the bed frames together . I was missing parts and had wrong pieces . Missing bolts , had different size bed room equipment . Over the course of the week I got 3 More professional opinions and they indeed confirmed RC WILLEY gave me merchandise that did not go with my beds I purchased nor was there any way to put my items together without purchasing additional pieces . I was very upset at this point and almost a week in I wish I would have just scheduled a time for them To deliver and set up so I didn't have to deal with sleeping on the floor for a week like I had already done. They were scheduled to show up to my home between 2-4 after I had to make several customer Service calls trying to get them to fix THEIR mistake . As 330 came and went , I got nervous they had forgotten about me and when I called in , I found out the technician had Claimed to come by and knocked . When Nobody answered the door they took it upon themselves to just leave and Take the rest of the day off since I was their last call . They didn't even attempt to call me and inform Me they were out front as my home does not Have a doorbell and I was upstairs in my room so unfortunately did not hear the knock. On the day I scheduled this apt for our items to be put together , I made other arrangements for my daughters surgery as I needed this apt to be kept at the time and had Gma staying with her at the doctor so I could make this apt.. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received From a company that I have heard so many good things about but was ultimately let down . Even when I explained my frustrations and asked To speak to supervisor about the horrible customer Service they would have the same answers for me and really didn't put the customer First . Their customer service and billing department is such a mess! I sat on hold for over 45 minutes on 4 separate interactions. Regarding a canceled order, yet continued to be billed for this. Every time after a long drawn out call ended I was told the issue was resolved only to receive another bill and additional late fees. Billing department transferred me to store, store transferred me back to billing both blaming the problem on the other stating they couldn't help because, "it is not a billing or store issue". Aren't both these entities part of RC Willey? Terrible Experience and Huge Waste of Time. read more

Well here we are, over a moth has passed and we just keep being told, we're working on in. In fact today my wife called and was rudely spoken too by some young gal that works there and told mi wife to settle down, these things take time. Meanwhile now other parts of my chair are peeling. I'm not going accept new parts, I want my account credited and the chair picked up. This is a joke and I will not let it go. Ok, it's been over 2 months and the matter has been resolved. Seems that the chair we bought from RC Willey was not a RC Willey chair, whatever that means. I guess because they sell it online the don't have to guarantee it, the manufacture does, or in this case doesn't. Either way RC Willey came and picked it up and and took off the balance owed, gave me store credit for the payments I've paid thus far. So we will give it another try with something they will guarantee. We are now happy and I give a to the customer service manager who got this done for us.
