If I could give zero stars I would! 7+ months and we are still waiting for our install. Once payment is received Nancy no longer cares about communication and fulfilling installs. I understand things are back ordered with Covid but our bed is just sitting there. They have no one to install their beds at the moment! To show how unprofessional she is, she is currently advertising the wall beds on Facebook and when I asked her about our install she blocked me. So we went to look at the murphy bed in the summer time and had a very pleasant experience with the sales rep at the store. I think her name is Nancy or Debra. We didn't have all our measurements in hand so we had to come do some measuring in the room. After further discussing it, we decided we would do two beds in our home, one in an office and one in the guest room. Fast forward a few months and we finally made it back to the store to place the order. Well, we were met with the same sales rep (mature lady, blonde hair). First off, we showed up a few minutes after she opened and she was on the phone, but came and just unlocked the door and didn't even bother to push it open for me. Not that it was her job to do that, just common courtesy as I was just standing outside the store. Weird, but ok. Then, we were in the store for a few minutes and she seemed disinterested in helping us and was bothered when we asked her to open one of the beds that had a desk (on wheels mind you) in front of it. Not only was there now a significant increase in price from what we were first quoted in the summer, but the shipping times were even more delayed. Despite this, I was still ready to move forward with the purchase, but when my significant other asked her for a print out with the specs, she was exasperated and said the printer wasn't working, after all...she just opened. I wasn't aware that printers had their own work hours! If I had written this review after our summer visit, she would have gotten 5 stars. Instead, she earned 2 stars and that was a push but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she was just missing her morning coffee. As we were leaving, she followed us out and practically sprinted to the coffee shop on the corner. And yes, we held the door for her ;) So we took a drive a little further south and found exactly what we wanted and saved a little bit of money for our 2 beds. Win win, I mean for us and the wonderful sales rep that got our order at the new store. Note to Nancy- Remember, in today's day and age, the internet makes it easy to "tell 2 people, who will tell 2 people, who will tell 2 people." I'm sure you remember that commercial... The entire experience with her this time around was very unprofessional and negative when it didn't have to be. read more

Well ordered a wallbed in July of 2021 Received it and was installed in Nov 2021. It was missing one piece on bottom and the desk was the incorrect size. They had same bed in showroom so the installer took missing and incorrect parts from show room. Was told that new replacement pieces would be here in about 8 weeks. Desk from showroom had big scratches in top. Called @ 10 weeks told would follow-up and put rush on parts. Now almost April 2022 still no replacement parts read more

Over the past few months my mom has relayed her experience of buying her wall bed from Wallbeds n More in Rocklin. She went from excited about the bed and happy with her experience at the shop, to extremely disappointed. My mom purchased a wall bed in June. She was told a window for delivery. The bed did not arrive until after this window with no communication from the shop regarding this delay. Her delivery was scheduled 4 different times (rescheduled 3 times- all reschedules were the shop's doing). My mom also got rid of her sofa couch to make room for installation of her wall bed. All of this seemed bad enough but the day the bed was actually delivered was something else. The installers DROPPED THE BED in front of my mom and I am shocked that it did not damage her floor. When the bed was installed it would not stay down (which is necessary to sleep on). The installers were unprofessional. There were multiple scuffs on the bed. I am writing this review out of frustration for my mom and out of frustration that my husband and I had to change our visit we had planned because my mom was assured by this shop that her bed would be installed long before our visit. read more

I'm giving this company two stars instead of one (the minimum) only because it's a really nice bed. If everything goes smoothly, you will be very happy. However, if anything goes wrong, don't expect the resolution to be easy. We ordered a bed in December and were told in early February that it had arrived, and we scheduled delivery. On the morning that delivery was scheduled (after my wife had rescheduled all activities for that day), the installer called to say there were missing parts so they could not install the bed. It seems that neither the factory nor the store bothered to check the packing list for the item. I called the store and was told that the owner would contact the factory and call me the following Monday to inform me when they would fix things. When that did not happen, four more calls to the store resulted in no more information and no contact from the owner. After I sent an email from the store's web page, I finally got a response from the store owner that the factory owner had been on vacation for a week and no one else at the factory knew what was happening. The factory was painting the parts they had forgotten to manufacture the first time, and the store owner said he would drive to the factory and get the parts. We scheduled a second delivery, and things seemed to going well until the installers discovered some missing hardware that prevented the installation again. Apparently, no one at the store bothered to check the packing list on a delivery that was already known to be incomplete. My wife called the store and told an employee of the problem. She said she would call the installers to find out what the missing parts were and would call back in an hour with a solution. The store owner did find the parts and brought them out for the installers, who made a third visit that evening to finish the job. They finally finished about 8:00 that night, at which point they found out the factory sent out the wrong screws to attach the knobs that the factory sent in the same package. As I said, it's an excellent bed, and we're happy with the result. But if you order one, don't depend on timing, or customer service, or quality control from the manufacturer or the dealer. read more

-My visit to the Wallbeds N More Showroom in Rocklin, CA went well. Choosing the style, size, stain finish and handles was easy- the only easy part of this entire experience. Jon noted delivery takes between 6-12 weeks but most of the time it's between 8-10 weeks. I paid my deposit and patiently waited. -At the 9 week, 3 day mark of waiting- with no communication from the store, I called for an update. Laurie said wallbeds are currently taking 9 weeks and my wallbed was likely on the truck arriving in two days. It wasn't. -At the 11 week mark, Laurie called to arrange for delivery. That delivery was initially rescheduled-per the request of the customer for his other delivery that day. This made me feel as if the other customer was the priority rather than us being equally important. Then, this delivery was cancelled altogether. No explanation. No apology. Wow. -The day of my rescheduled (again) delivery, I received a message it was cancelled due to a mistake. It was rescheduled. -Day of delivery (AKA 13 weeks, 1 day after purchase & 4th scheduled delivery time): After ten minutes, both men announced they needed to use my bathroom. Reluctantly, I let them use it as to not delay the much anticipated wallbed installation. It's surprising they didn't stop at one of the numerous fast food or gas stations en route to take care of their morning business. Installation continued but didn't go smoothly. When called into my office by the installer, I expected him to announce installation was complete and show me how to open and close the wallbed. This was not the case. There was an issue- a big issue. He opened the wallbed, released it- and showed me how it pops right back up rather than staying open. He said the pistons installed on the wallbed were meant for a queen sized wallbed, not my smaller full sized wallbed. He said he could adjust the pistons, but then the wallbed would not stay completely shut. Therefore, the options were to have a wallbed that will not stay in the open position because it pops back up, or one that won't stay closed and could potentially fall down on a person or pet if nearby. Neither sounded safe. The installer told me the store owner, Charlie Fox was currently out of the showroom, but would call me the next day. -After sitting in my driveway several minutes, one of the installers came back to my front door indicating he needed to take measurements to jury rig the bed with a piece of plywood and would return. Later he called & said he was not returning. -Upon further inspection, in addition to damage during delivery and the pistons being too strong hindering the wallbed useless in its current state, there were other issues: the bed was much harder to pull down than the display models in the showroom, the handles were not the finish I ordered, a small crack in the wood inside the front panel, mismatched screws, the footlegs catching & scraping on a screw on both sides and the wood bar attaching the footlegs was cracked- where the mismatched screws were screwed in. If it were just one of these issues, I could see working with the owner to resolve. However, the culmination of problems was beyond working with the owner for a resolution. I feared this wallbed would have a lifetime of issues, which I didn't sign up for. -The following day, I called the showroom but the owner was unavailable. -The next day, I expected a phone call from the owner but it never came so I called him. We mutually agreed he would pick up the bed and provide a full refund upon receipt of the wallbed. The tentatively scheduled pick-up date came & went. After me initiating contact, pick up was scheduled for 3 days later. -Charlie picked up the bed with at the 14 week, 1 day mark. -Throughout this experience, I found it frustrating that I was the one typically initiating contact. It was surprising I never received a confirmation call shortly after purchasing to assure my order was placed with the manufacturer or that I never received an update as time went on. I went 9 weeks, 3 days without an update- and I only got one because I called. -In summary, wait time was long, lack of communication, delivery & installation was unprofessional, wallbed was damaged & non-functioning, you need to be flexible with your time- to work around their schedule and their cancellations and empty promises- (it'll be delivered by then, the owner will call you tomorrow, etc.). As a consumer, I would not recommend Wallbeds N More in Rocklin, CA unless you seek added STRESS in your life! read more

Very very happy! Bed was delivered and installed a full month earlier than expected which happened to be just in time for Christmas Eve! With 2 grown children moved back home for a short while, the extra bed is much needed, extra bonus, it can be turned into a desk during the day, very cool and functional. read more

I'm writing this review over a year from the date we purchased our wall bed for the spare bedroom. We love it! It's beautiful and maximizes the space in this small room. We thought the entire process of selecting the bed and accompanying shelves/drawers was effortless and efficient. We waiting about 6 weeks for our wall bed to be delivered and installed. The mattress is absolutely heaven to sleep on too. I definitely recommend this option for anyone with space concerns. I have to add that wall beds are not cheap. read more

Absolutely phenomenal experience!! The bed was ordered and processed exactly how we remembered it. What a QUALITY piece of furniture! One positive thing that Laurie didn't show us was the file cabinet on the desk has drawers that "auto close" when you shove them closed. I know that there is a term for this, but you can't slam them shut. They have a dampening system that engages at the final 2 inches. VERY COOL! We weren't sure about all of the clearances in our bedroom because we have a ceiling fan and some other things on the wall. It all fit perfectly - just like the bed was custom made for the space it occupies! DJ's Deliver and Installations delivered and setup our new wall bed and did a FANTASTIC job of getting it up 2 flights of stairs and into our now "new" office/studio! The initial delivery had very obvious blemishes and damages that the factory sent out, hoping the customer would not notice. The installers even noticed it, but shrugged their shoulders. The installers used screws that were too long and visibly buckled the finish. The factory replaced the entire face frame and sent out the same installers. They were 'gun-shy' and did not put in adequate screws of the correct length. When our first guests slept on the bed they heard screws 'popping' in the middle of the night. We noticed that the face-frame had "buckled" in the middle, and many of the screws had fallen onto the floor. We did not call them back or trust them to be able to repair it. I feel the design of the platform that the mattress rests on (which is also the face frame when vertical) is flawed. There is an obvious "hinge point" down the middle of the frame with a piano hinge connecting the two panels. They do not address that weakness adequately with a center lap section of plywood that is neither wide enough or has enough fasteners to resist buckling and failure. I have re-enforced ours and will have to do more re-enforcing, as some of the trim on the face frame still pops loose. A customer should not have to go through any of these problems when spending over $8,000. I have even considered building a small padded box to place under the middle of the base of the bed when guests are sleeping on it. None of our guests weigh over 200# each, and it has caused problems with one person of 150# sleeping by herself. Look VERY closely at the construction before buying, and perhaps bring a carpenter or contractor with you. Also, insure that no matter what the warranty says, that you insist on a structural guarantee to address the issues above before you sign anything. We have no problem with the owner of the company, but the product and service we received from the factory he is a distributor of was un-acceptable. read more

We are very happy with the service and the product we chose! The bed is beautiful, functional and a great alternative to having a little-used bed taking up space in a house. They delivered the bed 60 miles away and also a great mattress which we bought from them as well.
