My husband and I are both loyal RC Willey customers, we both even have accounts with them. We have spent well over 15k with them over the past 6 years. Today that comes to an end. This is the third time within 4 months we've walked in the store and nobody has bothered to greet us with the exception of the paid greeter. We are very easy customers as I choose everything I want online first and have the SKU's ready. This time we were buying a coffee table and 2 end tables. We were there 30 minutes and not ONE person asked to help us. We observed at least 6 sales people standing around in clusters talking to each other. I decided to go straight back to the cashier with my SKU's because I could not stomach the thought of paying someone a commission who ignored us for 30 minutes. We went back there and sure enough the cashier can't do that and had to call up one of the furniture associates. It happened to be one of the ladies who was sitting on a couch looking at her phone and completely ignored us ever though we were only 10 feet away. Absolutely horrendous service and not she will make money for doing absolutely nothing. Neither the cashier or the sales person bothered to apologize for the lack of service. The service here has gotten progressively worse and we will be going to Ashley Furniture moving forward. Time to close the accounts. read more

Terrible customer service. When they say they have a piece of furniture in stock that does not mean its actually in stock. That means they have it available at their warehouse in Utah, so it will take several weeks to arrive. When you call to ask when your furniture will be in, the customer service desk has no idea. The customer service desk often refers you to the person who sold you the piece of furniture. Not helpful! Those people don't work everyday of the week, and often times I can't get ahold of him. None of this is explained to you before you purchase anything though....imagine that. The best part is, when your furniture does arrive, only at that point will they schedule delivery, which is at least a week or two out. After spending about 4K I would expect a bit more from this place. read more

Our 4 year old Samsung refrigerator has had issues with dispersing slushy ice culminating in it totally freezing up and giving no ice time after time. Our warranty was still in effect so they finally agreed to replace it. We were helped by Craig Seher in the Rocklin store. He was very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. He was very patient. We bought a replacement only to find it wouldn't fit with our size limitations because of our custom cabinetry. I was very frustrated and spent hours there over 2 days to find one that worked. Walked in here to check his place out and was really excited to see heir magnolia homes collection because Joanna Gaines is awesome. However, the floor reps here are probably the most unfriendly people imaginable. I didn't get a simple hello or welcome. When I got home I realized that it would take some maneuvering to get it in my house. So I called to have it delivered. What a fiasco! 2 days to get someone to call me back. Nobody would take a payment or transfer me to a person that could assist me. Finally on my last try, I was going to cancel the sale, someone took the payment for delivery. I have had to arbitrate my credit card. And you would THINK RC Willey accounting depatmnt would kinow that YOUR LEDGER NEEDS TO BALANCE! It was bad enough how many times I drove up there to fix their billing error! It was worse to have to go through all the paperwork to figure out what they did without my signature! Rather than RC Willey being able to do basic math, they are actually fighting me on their errors! I REGRET opening an account! I was so disappointed with the service...management are not helpful at all...washer and dryer does not fit in the laundry room according to delivery guys so I exchanged with a different one and said the same thing...I said it should fit...if I did not insist..we won't know....it fits!!! Delivery guys left the new washer/dryer outside of the house and got it wet and was in a hurry..did not turn off the water outlet upon exchanging the appliance so water all over the floor...did not adjust the legs and won't do it at all !!! This has been a big hassle...... We went to RC Willey probably about a month ago and we picked out our new bed set. The salesman was super friendly and I have no complaints. He didn't amazing job. The delivery process wasn't super great. We don't wear shoe in our house. Per policy the delivery man said they cannot take off their shoes bc of liability issues. I understand that's not up to them but I think this RC Willey should provide accommodations for the situation. That night we started noticing all the bed set pieces except for the mirror has issues. Our dresser has a scratch on the velvet drawer lining. My nightstand couldn't closed due to a broken guide. For the chest... the top draw guide was improperly installed and is damaging the drawer below due to guides not being leveled. My boyfriends night stand was a terrible wobble to it. The bed frame has a problem with the center supports bending under the bed. So we've had to remove our mattress off of the frame 3 times now to try and fix this. Come to find that they had never installed all of the screws into the slats. At the end of the bed frame there are two drawers. The drawer on the right side is perfect the drawer on the left was improperly installed. As I open the draw I can feel and hear it dragging. The only piece in this set that isn't jack up is the mirror. A few days pass... No call received. I call them on Monday. I talk to a guy. I told him what's going on. He said he will replace the chest, the 2 nightstand, and fix the bed frame. . Mid way through the conversation I accidentally hung up on him. I called them back and spoke to Jennifer. I asked her if they can replace all the items on Thursday. She they could. Thursday comes along...The deliverymen came. Apparently they were only here to pick up all the bed set pieces not to swap them out. In my opinion, I don't think it's practical for them to take all the furniture pieces and leave us with nothing. So we wouldn't have a bed frame to sleep on and a dress/chest to put our clothes in. In the end, they took the chest and the 2 nightstands, so all of my clothes are scattered on the other bed. My boyfriend calls the distribution office after the deliverymen leaves. He spoke to Jennifer. She admitted that on the Monday after we had talked and arranged a pick up/ delivery date that she had found out they wouldn't be able to fulfill our complete order do to all the items not being in stock. They were "debating" on calling us or not about the situation. My boyfriend then called the corporate office to speak to corporate manager. At this point we think that everything is beyond ridiculous. We were connected back to Jennifer, which he then asked to speak to her supervisor. Brian was informed of the situation and what was going on. The only thing we got was "I'm sorry". I understand things happen and there are some things like the furniture being damage are not in their control. They do not make the furniture they just sell them. What gets me really upset is the complete lack of consideration for my time, convenience, and respect as a customer. I really hope this company can step their game up in this situation to make things right. I'm at the point that "I'm sorry" is not going to cut it. The communication between this company to their consumers, or lack there of is unacceptable and must be addressed. I am truly disappointed in this company. read more

We just had our carpet installed by RC Willey. Big Box Stores can be scary indeed, we had a horrific experience with Home Depot back in 1997. RC Willey sells high quality "Mohawk" carpets, they also sell the "Shaw" brands too (not as good as Mohawk IMO). Our sales person was Robin, she was awesome. Their prices are very competitive with other stores and we took advantage of the Free Installation and No Sales Tax promotions. The installers, Jorge & Kit, were very professional and made the entire process quite painless, although because there were only 2 of them, needed two days to complete the install. In the end, our new carpet looks fabulous and we are extremely happy with RC Willey flooring department. We would highly recommend this company for carpets & wood flooring installations. read more

I purchased good quality Stainmaster carpet through RC Willey. They installed wet carpet (apparently it was left out in a rainstorm, partially unwrapped, the morning it was due to be installed) without telling me. I came home to my beautiful new carpet, only to end up seriously confused as to why my socks were now soaking wet. I called the store immediately. The installer came out to try to fix my new carpet (a seam was also loose), and informed me that the carpet had delaminated and should be replaced. I fought with RC Willey for three weeks as they attempted to negotiate a repair to the carpet or to reduce the cost. I insisted on new carpet, since that is what I paid for in the first place. The whole experience was really awful from start to finish and I will never go back to this store. Their business practice is shoddy and completely despicable. read more

My wife and I are looking for a new sofa / love seat set. We went to RC Willey tonight and we were walking around the sofas for 25 min while I saw sales men just setting there. No one said anything to us, I made eye contact and they looked away just sitting there doing nothing. While I am getting a little annoyed I notice an older couple walk in and they were help as soon as they walked in. We have bought sofas from RC Willey before but the last couple times of us going in the treatment we get from the staff diminishes. We decided to walk to the counter where you pay (again because no one wanted to help us), and the gentleman my wife was speaking to didn't want to answer our questions about a sofa, all he wanted to do was to make a ticket so himself or so someone else got a commission. To being ignored and not wanting to help from the staff at RC Willey was a horrible experience. Now my wife is online at the RC Willey site and what the counter gentleman said to us is wrong. Again was not listening, just wanted a commission. So just to add on, my wife called to speak to a manger and was getting the run around on the phone. No one wanted to help her and kept transferring her to different departments when all she wanted to do was to speak to the manager. read more

I have had a terrible experience all around with my purchase from this company. First off the sales staff wasn't knowledgeable with answering my questions regarding the furniture. I made two separate furniture purchases in the last two weeks and I'm totally dissatisfied. I spent close to $4,000.00 which Is a lot of money for me and my family and I basically feel like I was treated like dirt. Our first purchase was for a sofa and love seat recliners. Our first salesman was so rude that we asked for someone different to help us. After finalizing on our purchase we went to the cashier who was new and took a very long time to ring us up. I'm fine with someone being new at there job but when your thrown into a position without properly being trained it's very irritating for the customer. Our delivery came out with a damaged recliner, so we had to wait an additional week for a replacement to be sent out. Next we purchased a coffee table and an end table on Friday 1/1/16. The salesman told me the pieces had to be ordered and would arrive on Tuesday 1/5/16. I told him that was fine as long as the order could be delivered in the Morning as early as possible. The salesman told me that time frame was available and they would finalize a three hour time frame the night before. So I took the time off from work again in the morning to be home to receive the delivery. Now I get an email that our time frame for delivery is 1pm-4pm. I call and talk to customer service to tell them that time frame won't work because I have to go to work in the afternoon. They basically tell me well that's to bad if you don't do this 1pm-4pm time frame, I won't be able to get the delivery until Friday 1/8/16. A full week to get a delivery and to have to possibly take more time off work. I'm really pissed at my experience and will talk to the manager tomorrow to see if we can cancel our current order and if we can return our couches also. I've never had this bad of an experience with a company and I now want my money back. read more

I've purchased a lot of furniture from RC Willey over the years and I must say the quality has dropped tremendously. I purchased a table and it began chipping immediately. RC Willey agreed to replace it. However the item is made in Thailand and it has been over 2 months and I still don't have a replacement table. Wish I could deduct stars from this company. -16 would be most accurate.If you decide to shop here, you will regret it and I will say I told you so. Nothing but time and money wasted has come from shopping with this company. Read through the reviews. I wish I has before giving this company a single dime. Let's recap over the fact that when we first went to purchase our sofa, love seat and kitchen table we were told there would be a 20% down payment placed on our debit card to hold the items while we measured to be sure all items would fit in our home (we weren't sure the large sofa would make the cut). Luckily, everything fit, because the cashier at RC charged our debit card over $3000.00 for the entire purchase instead of the agreed upon amount, 20% down. This caused our accounts to go crazy in fees because we hadn't transferred the money from savings yet. I will add they did send us a $100 gift card because of this which I haven't used because I don't want to even step foot in this store & I thought about giving it away, but I don't want to curse an innocent person by sending them to RC Willey to experience all the crap we've been through since shopping here. Our couches were delivered with rips and dirt. Nice! The delivery men literally dropped the couch from mid air. Hmm. What else? Nails and staples were coming out from every direction. The pillows were ripped. Huge holes. I have attached pictures so you completely understand this is no understatement or exaggeration because it's still hard for even me to believe. I was delivered a couch + love seat in this condition. How are they still in business? They scheduled a pick up of the crap couches a week later and we were brought new couches as replacement. Those couches are so far, so good. Flash forward to NOW. Initial crap interactions with these RC Willey workers right and left, but since we received the new couches everything has been good. The couches are gorgeous, I'll give them that. So, we have a dirt patch on the back of our couch. We purchased a 7 year fabric plan which Don claimed will cover "any dirty stain you get". "Just call us within 5 days if you get any stain on the couch." Thanks, Don! You forgot to mention the warranty ONLY covers stains from food/beverage/human or pet bodily fluids. Ok, so here's the deal. I'm a grown adult and do not eat food on my couch because it's just crazy to me and also because I don't want to risk an accident. We do not have children (which I assume is where they come up with bodily fluid). So I have a warranty to cover a bunch of actions I will NEVER commit. Why!? Why offer 7 years of protection, but you get a small dirt again and we are on our own? I paid $80 for the sofa and $70 for the love seat and I will never get any use out of that. Instead, the rep suggests I call a carpet cleaning company and handle it with them on my own. I understand completely if they decide to not cover dirt on a fabric protection plan, but when being sold this plan I was not told specifics. Yes, they are somewhere (hard to find) on their website, but I didn't get a print out or any verbal communication that DIRT would not be included on a FABRIC CLEANING PROTECTION PLAN. Please, I can't be the only one outraged by this. RC Willey has to beat around the bush and withhold information to make a sale because their "protection" program is a load of crap. If you have 80 cats who like to pee wherever they please and 5 kids who can't control their diapers, then by all means, get this protection plan, but God forbid you get some dirt on your couch... Not covered! If food/beverage/bodily fluid ever happens to make its way on my couch I will most likely just torch the thing and start fresh because the thought of having to ever interact with RC Willey or any of it's reps ever again is giving me stomach pains. read more

A strange shopping experience all around. Salesman was not knowledgable about the product, was only eager to make a sale. I'm referring only to the electronics department of the store. When the product I was looking for was sold out, he tried to sell me the next item up, a difference of about $60. When I asked him what the difference was, as to why one is more expensive, his answer was "it's just better." Really? He even gave me some incorrect information on the product, which I verified later with the department manager. Store itself is set up beautifully, one star. However, I was not impressed with the other staff members came in contact with that day. Gal at register was pleasant, so another star is for her. Pick up of merchandise at the back of the store was awkward and took a long time, considering there was only one customer in front of me. One customer also came in after me and was I was waiting in my car, I saw her merchandise be loaded into her truck. They had an issue finding the original box, as I had ended up purchasing the floor model. I totally understand that and was aware of this, but I was left just waiting, no communication as to status. I ended up having to go back into the store because I thought they forgot about me. All in all, I don't feel confident in my electronics purchase and only hope that the recipient of my gift will:) Throughout my purchasing experience, my ID was checked 3x ....a bit much. I get it, it's the holidays, but a bit much. I've purchased furniture here in the past, spent lots of money, but instead I feel like I was treated very suspect. Very unsettling. Even though I like the store itself, I don't care for the way I was treated. I will definitely look elsewhere first before returning to RC Willey. Please listen up folks, Please consider another source when purchasing furniture from this place!!!! We purchased a rocker recliner from the Rocklin store, this chair in question has a couple defects. We bought this on 9/12/15 delivered in 9/12/15. Sense we have had it a few issues have developed,1st one of the arm chair cushions has broken down 2nd the sit is gathering to the center of the chair. I had call RCWilley about the issue they told me they would send out a service tech. from their company out to evaluate! This tech. Took pictures and said that they would call and let me know what his suggestion would be. Aprox. 1 week after they came out a customer service rep.called and said that they would like to send out a second party to evaluate this issue .He also took pictures of the chair,and told me that it could be repaired but it would do the same thing. I had mention to him if that's the case I would like to choose another type of chair and he said he would relay the message.(this rocker recliner is 6 months old!)So after a week and a half I had to call customer service to find out what was going on with the processes on the chair?Customer service told me it was normal wear and tear!I am 62 and my wife is younger,so it's us two.I had ask to speak to a mgr. Tyler and he told me the same! I had ask for the corporate phone number and a name? He told me Chad J. Would be my contact there. I have left numerous messages and also with Adam Y. And haven't heard from them!One person from customer service called me back on Friday afternoon and said he would pass on the message on Monday and today is Thursday and I haven't had a return call! I called again today to be told that Chad was out for the week,then I ask to speak to Adam Y. Each and every time I call it goes to voice mail. This chair has a warranty of 1yr.I would hate to see what it's going to look like THEN. And I have read on other Yelp reviews that people have had issues with this product.So they must know and don't care about customer service and possibly a DEFECTIVE product.and up most the customer.So if you feel like throwing your hard earned money away I would suggest go to Thunder Valley Casino! Where do I begin..the sales people are always great, of course. Customer service on the other hand is terrible. We have been in this location numerous times and doesn't matter who is working in customer service they are always rude and irritated. A few months ago we were dealing with Angelica about a warranty issue. Took almost 2 months to get it resolved with multiple lies along the way. Can't tell you how many times she said she would call me back and never did. Told me she would email the manufacturer, called her a couple days later to see the outcome and she had no idea what I was talking about. Then back tracked and tried to say she did email them when clearly she didn't. Finally started talking with Tammy who quickly resolved everything in a matter of minutes, how convenient. At least one person there can do her job and not act like she's inconvenienced along the way. High five to Tammy! Fast forward to the next time we go in. Elizabeth at customer service helps us on 3 separate occasions. And you guessed it, had a terrible attitude each time. 3 separate deliveries and each one the items were damaged. Going on a third couch and second table in hopes of something not defective. Meanwhile, Elizabeth wants to argue about every detail, help the least amount possible, and be foul while doing it. She promised Matt in customer service would call me to get things resolved, never happened. I had to call back yet again to see what was going on. Not sure what customer service means to RC Willey but it's not what I picture when I think of a position where you help people. Every person working back there must hate their job as they all seem miserable. I refuse to do business at this store again. I ended up driving 40 miles to a different store due to the lack of professionalism at the Rocklin location. Going back to the actual quality of furniture 4 pieces out of 6 arrived damaged. The delivery drivers were polite but hit my satellite dish bringing in a couch. That cost me $200 for DirecTV to come fix it. Just is one thing after the next with the company. After years of doing business with them I think it may be time to close my account to shop elsewhere that values me as a customer, and my money, something RC Willey doesn't. read more

I've made two big purchases through RC Willey. First being October 2012, a couch & love seat $2900.00 and the other August 2014, bedroom set $2700. My love seat handle is malfunctioning so i decided to give them a phone call and see if they could have a technician come take a look and see whats going on. I was told unless my furniture is under warranty then they can not send a technician even though i'm willing to pay. In my opinion I think that is a huge LET DOWN to consumers. I'm appalled that they would even suggest "Getting on yelp and searching for a furniture repairmen!" I will absolutely never buy furniture here again now that I know I'm going to be thrown to the wolves if I have any problems with any of my purchases.... What a disappointment! read more

I needed to have new kitchen counters installed. I called RC Wiley and made an appointment to get an in home estimate. I was advised to come to the store and pick out the counter top material I wanted which I did. Drove all the way to their store after work only to be told that i can choose the counter top after the contractor (RC Wileys- Igor) comes and sees the work that needs to be done. I took half the day off and waited for Igor. I received a phone call from him 30minutes prior to the appointment telling me he needed to reschedule. I rescheduled for the following week. Well i waited and waited and waited and no show or call. I called RC WIley and left a message for the store Manager who never called back. What a total waste of my time. Very unprofessional. Also this Igor person did not even have a portfolio of his work at the store. I will never do business with this company again. read more

Okay people, Yelp rule of thumb--if a restaurant is 3 stars, you chance it; if a furniture/electronics store is at 3 stars, you RUN. Backing it up a bit, my friend and I were looking for new laptops. We're a little crazy, so we decided to get our Black Friday on and do the overnight in front of the store in line. Yup, we were those people in sleeping bags who had people bringing us hot chocolate in line. The specs on the good computer deal (the only laptop they'd offered on special that year for Black Friday) were just what we were looking for, comparable to the prices and specs of Black Friday deals at other stores like Best Buy or the office stores. We decided we should try for RC Willey because there'd be more of a chance of getting the laptops there, 'cuz you KNOW there's always crazy Black Friday lines at Best Buy (if you've never seen it, drive by a Best Buy after Thanksgiving dinner on your way home from Grandma's... I like Black Friday and all, but I'm not gonna go set up a tent and back my car up to my campsite on the side of the building in line. Those people are pros. I'm poor.) So we make it through the night in the wind and cold with two other girls in front of us, and people start lining up after us around 5 am. We're pumped about getting these laptops, we know we've got them. When the doors open, we run, find the nearest person in electronics, ask for the laptop, and they do a super fast job of taking our payment and info. We walk out excitedly--that Black Friday natural high, you know?--and one of us looks over the specs on the side of the box. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE SPECS ADVERTISED. Pretty much the only specs that were correct were the fact it was a laptop and a Sony. The size of the laptop was the same, but the specs--memory, hard drive, processor, even the sound--ALL of it weren't even CLOSE to comparable to the specs they'd advertised. We did the side by side comparison with the ad--there was no mistake, they'd sold us an inferior laptop but at the price advertised for the Black Friday one. I went back in after we went to get breakfast (no one who's been up all night, and just fought a Black Friday crowd, and just had their buzz killed is gonna go back in their and get their scream on during the Black Friday craziness) and immediately asked to see a manager. I told the manager and SHOWED the manager the problem. He looked at them both for a long while and then told me they wouldn't do a return. WHAT??? I couldn't believe it. I'm not a yelling person when it comes to being in stores. Using my best inside voice and doing a few woo-sah Anger Management breaths, I repeated the problems and informed him they sold me a laptop that was not the one advertised and they needed to give me what I paid for. HE THEN TOLD ME THE ONE THEY HAD ADVERTISED DID NOT EXIST. He said it!!! They KNOWINGLY put something on the floor trying to pass it off as something else, and he essentially admitted it. I couldn't believe it. I was getting closer to becoming the yelling person. I asked they exchange the laptop for one comparable to the one they'd advertised. He refused, saying that price was too low for a laptop of that caliber. UMM, HELLO? IT'S BLACK FRIDAY. THAT'S THE POINT. I informed him there were similar deals at places like Best Buy and Office Depot and he then told me--brace yourself--that if I wanted a deal like that I should have gone there. Yup, you're right. I should have gone there, because if I had known this mess was gonna happen I would've saved myself the trouble, embarrassment, and blood pressure spike and sat in line with the Best Buy pros. It's too bad RC Willey LIED and then didn't tell me until AFTER I'd wasted the consumer holiday. Seeing there was nothing else I could do, I asked to return the laptop. You ready? HE REFUSED. I BECAME THE YELLING PERSON. Okay, I'm exaggerating, but I did get way louder than my usual consumer-politeness. In a louder and more stringent tone demanded that he return the laptop because he had falsely advertised a price on Black Friday and knowingly sold me something inferior to what I was led to believe I was buying. (If they were gonna scam people, I was gonna let everyone around me know that they might be being scammed to and they needed to check their purchases--I'm about just and fair practices and trying to help others, it was my way of pulling a public Call Kurtis, you know?) He tried to argue the point but I wasn't having it. He finally relented, and acted like he was doing me a favor. I walked out of there having wasted half a day of my life for naught. My other friend, resigned to the situation and in need of a computer for school, kept his... and ended up with a new one a year later anyways because the specs weren't good enough anymore. I will never shop here again. Also, I see the ads--buy a $2000 couch set and get a free generic DVD player? What is WRONG with these people? Where's the class? read more

We love RC Willey. It's one of the nicest furniture, appliance, carpet and patio furniture stores we have in the greater Sacramento area. All of the sales people are really nice and very professional. One gentleman in particular has been helping us with our furniture purchases for the past few years. Vic Davtian is very professional and also very nice. He has helped us with quite a few purchases and is willing to take calls after hours to help us. We are very impressed with his level of caring and professionalism. We love RC Willey. Almost every item in our house has been purchased there. Thanks Just bought a new fridge. The salesman Otis Griffin was awesome. He spent a lot of time with us answering questions and just offering help and support. Just a very nice gentleman. When he was off JD assisted us. It's so nice to have sales people that are willing to give their time to make sure you get what you want. It's great doing business with RC Willey. One of the nicest stores in the greater Sacramento area. Our whole house is furnished with RCW merchandise furniture, appliances and carpet. Love the quality and prices. This is a great store if you need furniture. I drove all over town and ran across some pretty ridiculous furniture stores until I went into this place. I found exactly what I needed, the staff was friendly but not pushy and the prices were extremely competitive. If you can get past the spooky halogram face then you are ok! Here's the kicker! They have what they call their warehouse/will call which is on the other side of the freeway. What they don't tell you is this is also a CLEARANCE CENTER!! I ended up with a $700 dining room table for $85!!! Plus, there is nothing wrong with it! From now on I'm starting at the clearance center and then going over the main store!! read more

First, we went in to buy a three piece sectional and a table. Great! Paid for it and entered a contest for a 32 inch TV and actually won it. Second, three piece sectional came, two pieces matched in color one piece slightly matched, but you could tell it was an off color. Third, table came with scratches all over it. Fourth, opened TV that we won and it was busted on one corner of the TV. Fifth, called to complain and was treated like poo. Finally, well we came to the conclusion that RC Willey sucks big time and we are going to return all the crap they sold us and hopefully get some use out of our busted TV before it goes out in a few weeks. They had some cool, modern-contemporary furniture there. Certainly not Scandinavian Designs. RC Willey has goods for the older, traditional style. I'm not sure about the quality of most of the sofas, but I know some of their leather sofas are built with detail... and I don't mean rivets decorating the arms. I mean solid stitches. The back area where the televisions are, always smell like cinammon cookies. There's a little snack shop. One could walk in and purchase everything needed to furnish their home. Convenience. It's a good drive for me, so the delivery service would be worth it. I found a nice, gray sofa with simple lines It was cushy and inviting. After a closer look, the cushion covers were not removable, nor where the cushions! It's sewn to the frame! Too bad. With that, RC Willey is still a cool place to go and get ideas. Beyond frustrated, ordered a couch at the end of august, and we where told it would be here in about 4-8 weeks and we still have not received it 16 weeks later. I definitely understand the problems with Covid and that things can take and are going to take longer than expected, but that is not the issue here. We have called multiple multiple times, and if we do even receive a call back it's weeks later. We got a call a few days before the 14th telling us that our couch would be in on the 14th, and whether it was or not we would get a call further updating us on the delivery day, well we still have not received that call. I'm not sure if maybe $800 is not enough to get adequate customer service, or what the deal is, but I definitely would not recommend shopping here, there custom service is non existent once you leave the showroom. We Really wanted to love this store because they do have a great selection and while we were there everyone was very friendly, but that is not the case once you walk out of the door. I'm really hoping that they can get this resolved soon, if not we will be canceling our order and getting a couch from somewhere else. Edit: ended up canceling our order for the couch after multiple months of not being contacted by kate or any customer service at all. Went to big lots and walked out with a quality couch same day. We will never be back to rc willey and i hope kates boss sees this bc i honestly feel disrespected, and felt like we where treated like a nuisance, not a customer. read more

So thankful for the great customer service, quick installs, reasonable prices, and excellent products from rc willey. We purchased everything (carpet, vinyl, couch, and tv) from the roseville location. The sound bar we ordered was discontinued. We will be getting the new model at no extra charge. Watchout. Visits here may cause you to want to redo your house room by room. About three years ago the hubby and I had dreams of upgrading our apartment style and quality Ikea furniture so we started the hunt. After traveling around Sacramento we were brought here-frustrated and tired. :Cue Angels singing: Within a few hours we had picked out a coffee table, a sectional and a small loveseat and we were ecstatic. Delivery went smooth, and we love our furniture. Cons: Coffee table has a particle board base so it chipped very easily, read warranties regarding couch cleaning carefully. Then a year ago we needed a mattress. Once again, we loved the service, and felt we got a good deal after the salesman stated the sale ended that coming up Monday. Oh how we LOVE our bed. Cons: That following Monday came and lo and behold the sale price was still valid...only now you got a TV with the purchase. I was livid after being told they can't take responsibility for future sales, etc. I understand that from a business perspective but it had been a few days. Grrrrrrr. Last night: we are now looking for flooring. The saleswoman was incredibly helpful, providing more information than we even knew to ask. We will see if we purchase here, but the customer service last night was on point. The skinny: shop sales or the clearance section for good deals, check out the plethora of accessories and know you can't backdate promotions...even by a few days. read more

This store is incredible. It's like the Meca of furniture stores. It's owned by a Mormon guy from Utah named RC Willey - Who knew? Anyhow there's this pickup truck in the store that has a hologram of RC Willey sitting behind the drivers seat talking to you like he's a yahoo from the sticks: "Gol Dern it - welcome to my store - I 'm mighty glad that you mosied on in...-" It is actually a pretty cool looking thing and you sort of have to stand and listen to the gol dern thing talk. Anyhoo folks- I have bought 2 things from this store. A dining room set and a recliner. Both times my salesman was Charles Bradley, who like RC Willey is from Utah. There was no pressure at all with either of these purhases. Charles was the kind of saleman that you just feel good doing business with. Keep in mind that this store is closed on Sundays - which is family day for the employees. read more

This is an update from 24 days ago. I just now got a phone call from the service department saying they thought they called me. They decided my adjustable frame part was not repairable but they didn't call. He said he has to talk to someone about ordering me a new one. They said this when I reported this the day after thanksgiving. They came out once say they are replacing the whole thing and when they came back they brought a part. Today they call half way through January and they guy tells me he has to talk to someone in replacing the part. Mind you I returned everything to them which was a hassle and to get my money back was another thing. What a wonderful business they run. NOT!!! Won't be back. This is the worst furniture store I've ever dealt with and I've been around a long time. The table they delivered 6 months ago was chipped so they scheduled a replacement a month later. That was also chipped. The third replacement was crushed and they never showed up. The 4th replacement was also chipped. Today, I spent all day waiting for them to bring the 5th table and it turns out they didn't even have one in the warehouse. The delivery should never been scheduled. I've wasted entire days of my life trying to get a table that's not damaged. Stay far far away! read more

Not Good. Customer Service after the sale is completely lacking. I've been trying to get my $1000 sofa delivered.................. I've been ignored, hung up on, transferred to voice mail without an explanation, promised a call back that never happened, and been given absolutely no attention. It's been over 2 weeks since this sofa has arrived at the store & to get it delivered to my home has been a major problem. I will never shop here again. Now I finally have a delivery date of next week. The INTERNET is a wonderful thing. Let's see what happens. read more

We recently embarked on a sofa shopping mission, and we came back to RC Willey probably half a dozen times. We have seen it on a busy holiday weekend and on weeknights - but, of course, never on Sundays. (I imagine Chick-Fil-A staff spends their Sunday afternoons on their RC Willey furniture, after church of course.) For the most part, staff strikes a good balance between checking in and leaving you alone to shop. That's probably why we kept coming back - because we could just try EVERYTHING and not be terribly bothered by anyone. Again, if we had any questions, the sales people were helpful. If you want the full salesy shpeal, they'll walk you from sofa to sofa, but who really WANTS that? You can find some decent deals in the Clearance Center way in the back, but it's hit or miss. I made my first - and likely last- RC Willey purchase! Originally, ordered a bed and when it was delivered it was missing the frame (the sales rep told me came w/ it). So no frame. Just a mattress and boxspring on the floor. Then they wanted me to be happy- so true, they did deliver one to me at no charge. Then today, I woke up w/ hip pain again and thought, "I know this isn't the mattress I ordered" ... I called the store and they insisted I talk to my original sales person. Turns out he put the wrong bed on the order! He was working with me to get the right one and told the customer service clerk I wanted to exchange under their comfort guarantee program- that it was too firm. Somewhat true- it is too firm. But he totally left off the part where he ordered the wrong thing and now it's going to cost ME an extra $450. :( I get to be home for hours tomorrow waiting for a delivery (for the third time) that should have been right the first time!
