I hired RD Plumbing after receiving 4 quotes. The deciding factors to move forward was the thorough walkthrough, the hardware recommendations, and prices. I appreciated that the company wasn't there to upsell me, but instead told me what I DIDN'T need such as a new gas line. On the day of installation, the team came early and walked me through the setup again. I was informed that it would take a little longer than normal because apprentices would be on-site to get hands-on experience with the installation. I had no problems with this request. What was really interesting about this was seeing the patience of Ryan as he allowed the team to install, make mistakes, and redo the work so it was done to his expectations. I really appreciate the fact that the team was given the latitude to make mistakes and Ryan would jump in to show them why a mistake occurred, provided guidance, then allowed the team to correct it. They were never belittled or looked down upon, but treated as equals. It was a very refreshing experience. I had a tankless unit installed. While the team could've taken the lazy way out and installed an EZ system that would've simplified the installation as it would effectively be retrofit, they instead took the harder approach which required running more pipes, bends, etc. It turned out great. The unit looks fantastic add worked first time. No leaks, hot water worked, and all faucets had the expected pressure. I have twice over a period of perhaps two months had worked performed by RD Plumbing. Each time the individual who answered the phone was polite and very efficient in obtaining my information and setting up contact with whomever was going to come to my home and provide an estimate. The initial water heater replacement was performed by two installers to my complete satisfaction at the time and on the date agreed-upon. The subsequent installation of a water conditioner, water softener, and reverse-osmosis drinking system was likewise conducted in the same manner. The installer working this project was Austin. He proved competent, pleasant and clearly explained everything I needed to know about the system. I own a rental property in Rancho Cucamonga and was experiencing water backing up into the downstairs toilet due to tree roots in the main sewer line.
