Lured inside by the shoe displays in the window, I spent quite a lot of time in here today chatting with the owner. He has been at this location for 14 years, and currently uses vintage styles as inspiration for his own designs of handcrafted leather shoes. Re-Mix did all the shoes for the Broadway production of "A Color Purple", I was told. How cool. The interior of this small shop is charmingly quirky & eclectic, like the proprietor himself, whom I will visit again some Sunday. Prices of the shoes I tried on ranged from a $95 sale price to around $160. I didn't find anything to suit my needs, but I had a lovely time nonetheless.

I wanted some comfortable but still cute shoes with some vintage flair. Lots of great reviews for this brand so I decided to try it! The shop girl was really nice and helped me out a ton, quickly pointing out the shoes that would fit my criteria and giving me advice. I left with a great pair made of soft leather and a list of two more pairs I like to buy later. I'm glad I went to the shop to try on in person, the choice I made in person was not the same as my first choice online. It's worth it to me to have a nice pair of shoes that won't hurt me when I'm one my feet all day.

Since I live in Sacramento, I haven't been able to visit this shop in person. HOWEVER, I do order from these guys online. While I will admit the ordering process is a little hectic because they don't have an online order form system, I am still able to email/fax in my order. Whenever I have a question about a certain product, I email them my question and receive an answer either the same day or the next day - very fast customer service. I have done business with this company since 2008 and I'm so glad that I did. The people who run this company are reliable and eager to help. They also sell my FAVORITE heels of all time, Hollywood Stilettos a.k.a. Polly of California replicas. I have bought 3 styles from them (red leather, black leather and leopard print) and have been very pleased with each of my purchases. What I also love is that they have the colors that I am looking for and also both styles - slip on and ankle straps. I enjoy doing business with this company and I'm sure that I will be back for more as soon as I have the money.

The girlfriend came here to buy some new dance shoes. The store is pretty easy to find and once inside, you're taken into a whole new era. The store and shoe selections are all vintage inspired design. From what I gather from other girls I've spoken to, these shoes are also quite comfortable... which I imagine would be an impressive feat to achieve especially if some of these come in heels. There's plenty of selections and different designs to chose from. The man who helped us was very helpful. For the guys, there are some men's shoes here, but that is just a small table in comparison to the entire store. Overall, the shoes all look great, but expect to spend quite a bit.

Yes, part of it is because it's smack dab in the center, but the main part of it is because a lot of the businesses I like to shop at and peruse are located here, as well as lots of the places I like to get food and snacks from. I like visiting what I deem the "Anime Jungle pit" since eventually the entire underground section was taken over by businesses related to or owned by Anime Jungle, but in that pit, when there's no crazy lines, I like to visit Anime Jungle, Q Pop Shop, Little Akihabara LA (depending on the collab pop up), Kiddleton Kiosk, and maybe I got into the model kit or the TCG/vidya game shop, but not as often. Outside of the pit in the plaza area, sometimes I like to go to Monkey Pants, but it is a small shop, but they have cute trinkets and sometimes character mascots have meet and greet events, Catch on the 3rd floor, Neko Stop, Maneki Neko, Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle, the Sanrio store, Nijiya for quick drinks or snacks, Yamazaki bakery for the meat buns, Mitsuru Cafe for super cheap dango and takoyaki, and sometimes they have cool collab decoration and events throughout this location. It definitely gets crowded and busy here, the parking garage can get quite fisted, so it's not somewhere I park normally, but I will definitely visit.

The open space has beautiful lanterns hanging from the top. There are spots to sit and rest. Both street parking and parking garages are available for visitors. In this plaza there's a lot to do. There are several restaurants first of all. Then there's bakery store, gift shop, Japanese grocery store, ice cream parlor and it's adjacent to another mall building. The plaza is mostly clean and safe to walk around. We spent about an hour here. We bough some stuff from Nijiya market, got kimono from Shinyodo gift shop and got ice cream from Little Tokyo Ice cream and yogurt. All staff members in each store were nice. Prices varied from average to high based on products.
