The Bearded Beagle is a vintage and used clothing retailer in Los Feliz/East Hollywood neighborhood of LA. They have two other locations in Highland Park and DTLA. This store looks very neat, organized and aromatic. I have probably walked past by this store a few hundred times whenever I'm in the hood; but today I have decided to check-in. I was warmly and authentically greeted by a young male African-American lad; one can opine that he has good customer service skills. Anyway, this store has different classic-vintage clothing, sunglasses and foot wear. Majority of what they sell were mostly from the 70's 80's and 90's. Guess what era I grew up in? lol. Ok, I'm neither here or there let's get back on track. I checked some of the simplest plain white shirts and sweaters with logo cost $24 to $60 USD. Blimey! But all look so bloody (vintage) cool! Moreover, there were cowboy leather boots that I saw that look rufus! And it cost $65 and I've debated should I get a pair or that sweater that says BOSS. The store's atmosphere and layout was relaxing and spacious, respectively. Plenty of side street parking. Overall, I enjoyed perusing their merch. I recommend this vintage shop. read more

This is my favorite vintage store in the area for 2 reasons. 1. Staff is always friendly! Greet you when you come in, helpful but 0% pushy, really chill and kind folks. 2. They have a wonderful curated selection of vintage for very accessible prices (within the context of vintage shopping in LA, of course). Lots of 70s-80s-90s sweatshirts and tees, great rack of jeans, and some fun true vintage. I don't like Y2K style but they have just enough of that era to satisfy those who do, and a nice mix of workwear, cute dresses, and other styles to keep it mixed up. I go here routinely for new special pieces to add to my wardrobe. Almost all my sweatshirts are from here! Highly recommend. read more

Highly recommend the spot. It smells amazing. It's clean and looks like a high end boutique store. The two guys working there are very cool. It's heavy on the men's fashion which is great. Go inside! This place is so well-organized and beautifully arranged inside, you feel like you're at a sweet and clean boutique and not at a typical second-hand store. Looking for that perfect vintage t-shirt in red? They have it... look up at their wall display. Looking for a unique blue patterned skirt? I was outside Kismet waiting for my friend and this store caught my eye! The window display was so cute I had to go in. The store smelled great and they had a really well curated selection of on trend vintage stuff. The store associate, I forgot her name, was so nice and friendly. We chatted about music and work. She told me that there were a few other stuff. I ended up getting an amazing red puffy Obermeyer jacket. Great selection. Affordable (for vintage) prices. Nice people. Stumbled upon this place yesterday on my way to Go Get Em Tiger... walked in because I'm visiting LA and really wanted a bandana. (Everyone wears them here and I approve.) Great selection of scarves and I found the perfect little square for myself, priced at $4, which is beyond reasonable. The guy who checked me out was super polite too. read more

Someone left some empty hangers in the dressing room before I went into the dressing room. Few minutes after I came out, I was questioned where the clothes went. I said I don't know, then the associate checked me out and questioned me again about the disappearing clothes. I voluntarily opened my bag to show her ( I understand she was just doig her job). She looked and said " ok" and walked away. Later, I remember the previous user of the dressing room left the hangers in there and actually purchased the shorts. To ease her concern, I told the cashier and she was like " ok got it". I think I got politely accused of shoplifting? I bought a pair of pants anyway. Didn't receive a thank you or an apology. The selection was great and the prices were reasonable, but the overall experience was pretty negative. Please remember to take the hangers, don't leave them in the dressing room, or you might be questioned. read more

There's so much good selection of vintage at this store. I had to try on about 12 different items and couldn't make up my mind. After being in the dressing room for far too long I went to checkout with some of the best clothing I've found in a long time. While I was checking out the cashier Jay (I think they said their name was Jay) politely told me that my fly was down. 100% amazing customer service. Saved me from a Monday of dark, decrepit, excessive embarrassment. read more

I've been in this store a few times. I really really enjoy this store but why do the sizes stop at size 10 for women??? Nothing is in XL or 14/16. Am I supposed to wear unflattering bag? Don't shop here if you have thighs or boobs. read more

For a vintage store it's what you'd expect, unique clothes that you wouldn't find anywhere else. The prices are a bit high but, very worth it. Would choose this place over any other store due to its amazing selection of clothing and overall style. Clothing is sparse for the women's section, but I was able to find a great piece from the men's section! read more

I often find items I like and take home from the Bearded Beagle and most of their staff is incredibly approachable and kind. I have unfortunately had a few encounters with the same woman who I have found to be rude and unwelcoming. With the way she is acting, I assume she is a manager... but it's too bad considering my otherwise positive interactions there. I hope it was just an off day. read more

WOW! So stoked they have a location now that is closer to my house! Their new store is absolutely gorgrous .I love all their vintage dresses they have! And not to mention this place is SO reasonable.
