Hands down my favorite spaghetti and meat sauce. The bread that comes with it makes my mouth water just writing about it. The Parmesan fries are chef's kiss. Pretty good for fast Italian food. I think that the temperature of my food could have been hotter. We got Johnny's meatballs, garlic bread, 2 kids spaghetti, a kids Alfredo, and a ravioli lasagna. Most of the sauce is very thin and I prefer mine to be more viscous. The kids spaghetti had a lot of liquid at the bottom of the bowl, so the kids kept saying it was soil and didn't eat it. There is no better "fast food" spaghett/ pasta place around! We live in Ohio but always come here when in town. They willingly customize our order and the service is fast & friendly. We usually eat-in and last night they changed the channel for us to watch the College Football Championship Game with our meal & a glass of cabernet. Wish it was in Ohio. read more

Fancier sir-down restaurants have priced me out of their realm. So have fast-food places with the $16+ combo meals. Yet a need for a convenient meal of quality was needed last Saturday night. I appreciated being given time to read the menu. The restaurant was clean yet the atmosphere didn't compel me to stay. The man who took our order was an awesome person. He joked in all of the right places, told me how much I was going to love their food and predicted that we'd be back for Sunday dinner. Our food was delicious. I saw that chicken was offered. I felt my Garlic Tortelloni could have use some protein as did my wife with her fettuccine. Next time (and there will be a next time)! My only complaint is that a delicious meal that was once $35 now costs more than $50. My wife didn't want $50 pasta two nights in a row. We love the food here. We always order spaghetti, a small salad and wine. The pasta is always cooked perfectly, they serve a good wine and the salads are always fresh. The one star is for the food. The reason for the 1 star is that we can NEVER go there again in winter. They keep their thermostat at 66 DEGREES all winter!! We are older folks and cannot withstand eating our dinner while being freezing cold! We are not supposed to be bundled up in winter jackets INSIDE a restaurant! It's obviously a management decision and it's disgraceful that they don't care about allowing children and older folks to have cold, frozen hands while eating. Third time... and something is seriously wrong with my order. Again. This time, I ordered food 6 hours ahead of time with a scheduled delivery for a group. And they completely forgot all of the salads. This is indicative of this place. None of the employees seem to act like they care about much more than what's on their devices. I ask questions about the entrees and they either don't know or parrot the description that's given on the menu board. The food itself is insipid, bland and uninspired. The garlic toast isn't garlicky and everything, in general, just needs more seasoning. The tomato sauces tend to be watery and on one occasion, there was more water than tomato sauce. The pasta cooking is inconsistent and all over the map but usually it's well past al dente. Ready Spaghetti, I tried to like you. Really, I did! There's a place in the Bay Area called Past Pomodoro that has this same concept (only they do it right) and I was hoping this is what you were going to be. But at this point, I'm tapping out. None of their sauces have tasted authentic, none of them are even thick. God forbid they can thicken their sauce to make it palatable... I didn't get to dine in so this review is exclusive to the dish. Most spaghetti dishes always have way too much oil at the bottom, and makes my face all oily afterwards, and my shirt all oily with splatter from the noods. I did splatter Alfredo on my shirt, but this is much easier to clean. This is a true comfort dish. It's still on the heavy side but that's expected with chicken Alfredo or any pasta dish. The meal is big enough as a main course, and then a little snack a few hours later. I spent $20 after tax and tip. I also think this is expected at most pasta restaurants. Today, I had one of the worst experiences with this location after loving this place for the longest I can remember. Today, one of the staff made my dinner time very poor. I took my family for dinner at this location, and we loved it because of the quality of the pasta and other ingredients. The food came out wrong, the appearance was not pleasant, and how one of the cooks/managers treated me was unacceptable and like no other day. At this point, I thought I was eating in an unknown place. I'm still trying to figure out what happened, but after many years of going to this location, this experience has disappointed me greatly. I hope this was a one-day thing because it would be shameful for Readi Spaghetti to lose business. This guy looked like another gentleman who took my order and prepared it for me once at the Bothell location. Did an order for new years eve, when we went to pick it up it was ready, plus was told they never received the order. Then we realized we had a few items missing. Tried calling a few times there was no answer or we were disconnected. When we finally was able to go in to inquire about missing items since we couldn't get thru, the manager was rude and basically was an ASSHOLE regarding what happened and didn't want to help us in anyway. I've been ordering from readi spaghetti on Uber eats for probably 6 months now. I love their antipasto salad, because it has these yummy chunks of cured meat. Not sure what it is, maybe some sort of Italian meat sausage. But last night when I got the antipasto salad, there was no meat at all in it. It looks like they replaced it with some croutons, which is definitely not the same thing. I've been here a couple times now and it's just okay. The atmosphere is really good and there always seem to be open seats, but the food I wouldn't write home about. The last time I went here, I got a bucket of the Pesto Cavatappi because I was absolutely starving. Based on other reviews I thought the bucket would be massive, but it only lasted me about one and a half meals. When I think about value, that isn't great for something that I feel I could easily make at home. I think the baked pastas are much better value and something that I would come back for. I'm TOTAL fan of this place!!! So much that we went twice in a week! First off the wings are DELICIOUS. I know who goes to an italian place for wings? They taste so good the mix of garlic and parm is just perfect. the bread that you get with the pasta is really good and they give you a really good amount. We have gotten the Spaghetti Jonny Meatsauce, Fettuccine Alfredo, Baked Cav 'N Cheese, Caesar Salad, and the Cheese Bread. The spaghetti sauce is so good it's not tangy but not sweet. My kids love the Baked Cav n Cheese. I was not a fan of the Caesar dressing. BUT I'm a huge critic of Caesar because I dont like fishy taste. The portions are a good size we bought 3 pastas for 6 of us and we ended up having leftovers the first night but not the 2nd time. The restaurant is nice but we haven't eaten in. Stopped by Readi Spaghetti today for lunch. It was starting to get crowded with everyone looking for just the right place to have lunch. I have been to the other two locations and wanted to try this one. As expected consistently great food, rather dinner or lunch. The new location has a great feel to it and lots of windows give this location a bright and cheery feel. The menu is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner for the family. The preparation is done quickly and done well. The best part is that the prices are inexpensive. I've been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally had the opportunity when I wanted to grab something quick to eat. I'm really glad I did. This place is located right next to Taco Time in the same plaza as Albertsons, UPS, etc. on Mukilteo Speedway. There's plenty of parking everywhere and I never have trouble finding a spot. The place itself is pretty roomy and set up so that it's straightforward and easy to maneuver around. I like that they have seating in different areas so that you can choose what you're most comfortable with. As for the food, I ordered the Pesto Cavatappi, and it came with a garlic bread. It was pretty good and fulfilling. I appreciate that they don't skimp out on the sauce, and it tastes hot and fresh. All of the ingredients came together to complement the pasta dish as a whole very well. I really enjoyed the garlic bread as well. It was crisp and flavorful. Service here is great. I came in very lost and confused because of all the options they have. The cashier was super friendly and patient, and she helped me throughout the way to decide what I wanted. Driving thru Mukilteo, I realized I had coupon for Readi Spaghetti, a place I had never been before. I call to place an order for my family and it says they cant receive my call. I try again 20 minutes later, they still cant receive my call. I go home. My teen daughter has been there before and wants their chicken fettuccine. I try and order online and I'm, absolutely confused by their menu. The coupon mentions "buckets" which implies they sell pasta in family size portion containers, but online I see no mention of "buckets" and no mention of "chicken" as a meat option. I see items described as "regular size" and I have no idea what "regular size" means. I call again, but they still cant receive my call. I assume they have gone out of business. I have one more errand to run and as I drive-by I see they are open, so I stop in I tell the employee their phones dont work as I had been trying to call. He picks up their phone and says "ohh, people have been on hold for 2 hours, that's why" I tell the employee I have never been there before but I am hoping to get: two family size containers, one traditional spaghetti with meat sauce and the second, chicken fettuccine. I mention my online experience. He then explains the menu and sizing to me, and tells me they dont put chicken on the online ordering option because it is so popular that they might run out of chicken.....I think to myself, that's a strange marketing strategy. Don't put a popular item on the menu because you might sell too much of it? The employee tells me that they have daily happy hour from 4 to 6, when the buckets of pasta are on sale (I just missed it - but had they received my earlier call...). He says not too many people know about it, so he tries to spread the word verbally. Another strange marketing technique. This special was not mentioned on my coupon, not on the website and not posted anywhere in the store. The pasta was delicious, but the marketing sucks. I loved the chicken fettuccine. Owners should visually change the menu optics both online and in-store, so that any idiot can view the menu, and in 5 seconds know how to order, what size it is going to be and how much it will cost without needing additional explanation from employees or too much reading and clicking. Have the happy hour posted in the restaurant, on all ads and on the webpage. If using terms like "bucket" in ads/coupons, then the term should be very visible on the menu. This place should get some marketing advice as I think they could increase their sales with a few marketing tweaks...I wish them success! read more
