I'll definitely rent from them again--my only regret is not renting the kids' life vests too so I wouldn't have had to pack them. Details: I booked this last minute, and Sharon made it happen. She answered my call right away and arranged a same-day drop-off of the wagon, which we kept for a week. The wagon itself was spotless and came with a canopy, two cup holders, a snack tray, and a basket. The beach wheels were included in a large duffle bag (just a heads-up: they do take up quite a bit of car space). We only used them once during our trip, but it was nice to have the option. Convenience: Delivery and pickup were super easy. Sharon met me in the hotel lobby both times, but I was also given the option to leave the wagon in my room for pickup. Service: All calls, texts, and messages were answered quickly and professionally, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was very satisfied with my rental and will be recommending this company to all my friends and family visiting Kaua'i!.

I had originally contacted several companies who offer a similar service, and Mel at Rainbow Travel was the first to respond back to me. When we arrived at our rental stay in Hanalei, we had a crib set up that our son slept in the moment we arrived. It was wonderful! We also rented several conveniences such as a diaper genie, red wagon, sport umbrella, and the hiking backpack for our toddler to ride in. Everything was great quality and clean condition. Mel was easy to contact throughout our stay and stopped by when needed to rent more items. Upon leaving Mel stopped by to pick up all of the items. Thank you so much Mel and Rainbow Travel for making our trip perfect!

He had our toddler seat ready for us at the car rental place. He then met us at our condo to drop off the additional beach supplies. This included tents, a large rolling cooler, an amazing baby jogger (that we now might want to buy) and toys for our little girl. The fact that he met us at our condo just to make sure we had everything that we needed was great. Even at the end of the week, he allowed us to leave all the beach items at the front desk of our condo and met us at the airport to pick up the car seat. AMAZING! Service like this is rare. The price was unbeatable. And because we rented a lot of stuff, the pick up and delivery was all free! 6 thumbs up from each of us! Thanks Mel and Rainbow Travel - Kevin, Patty and Tess

No matter where we travel to…read more... Somehow, some way, if there just so happens to be a Target there, my wife will miraculously find a reason to convince me that we need to stop in. Yeah, even while on vacation where I know for a fact that we 100% packed everything we could possibly need for our trip before leaving home... (Trust me, after filling her suitcase, she still uses the other half of my suitcase so I can carry her toiletry bag, her extra pairs of shoes, and like 12 canisters of sunscreen in every SPF who can think of) And just like that, now MY suitcase is nearly full. But just so you know, I purposely was keeping the other half of my suitcase empty for all of the souvenirs and gifts I was gonna get for people back home... Sorry Gigi, guess you're just gonna get another fridge magnet this year cause that's all I can fit. ;) Anyways... So there we were, once again on the beautiful Island of Kauai... And suddenly my wife remembered she needed something and said "let's go to Target in Lihue, I just want to pick up a couple of things." I of course, knew exactly what that meant... "Just a couple of things" would ultimately turn into a "cart full of stuff." Of course, you can bank on it that every single Target trip will either start or end at their in-store Starbucks. So there we were, walking around the Target in Lihue, Kauai approximately 2,600 miles from home... She picked up the things she originally came in for, grabbed a few snacks for the kids, and decided to get some ingredients to make a few meals back at our condo. But then as we continued walking down the aisles, something caught her eye. We were in the back to school section and she was like... "aww look how cute these lunch bags are for the girls lunches when they start school! Oh and they have matching containers for their school snacks too, we need these!" Mind you... It was the middle of summer. We were on an island. On Vacation. In Paradise. But there we were, shopping for lunch bags. At Target. So I said to my wife... "Lunch Bags?" "Shouldn't we just get these at our Target back home?" "Plus, we don't have room in the suitcases" My wife, "I think you have some space in yours" Needless to say, our girls are rocking their new lunch bags thanks to Dad ;) Ok, I'm being a little dramatic, but hopefully you can relate and enjoyed my little tale. But know that those memes you've seen about going to Target for a few things, but land up with a cart full of stuff are Real! Hey, I'm not gonna lie, some of the stuff in the cart is mine too! So what makes this Target stand out? Well for one... The parking lot has chickens and roosters just chillen out front. Of course, this target has all things Hawaiian and you can definitely find some great local merchandise and gifts that you can't get at your local Target location. The store is well stocked, clean and there are plenty of staff to assist. So.... The next time you travel to Kauai... Fella's, I recommend leaving a little space in your suitcase for that "spontaneous" Target run; your wife will appreciate you! Mahalo from the Mainland!

In fact, I filled half a suitcase with fabric for two quilts on our honeymoon and then called and they shipped more! Well, it had been two years since my last visit and I wonder if they are under new ownership or have fallen on hard times because it is not what it used to be. First, it was really hard to find the hours because each source was a little different. There isn't a recording on their number and the website was down. We eventually chose to drive by on the weekend to learn they would be open until 2 on Monday. We worked it into our plans to go there specifically and I regret doing it, sadly. The shelves are barren. There were just a few options for Hawaiian fabrics. I didn't check the prices because there wasn't anything I wanted to buy. The employees did not speak to us, and my husband remarked that you almost feel like they're annoyed you're in their store. I'm not someone who wants princess treatment, and I've never met a stranger, but something was just off. I also needlepoint and had seen a post somewhere that they carry canvases. There were two pinned to a board, sort of traditional Hawaiian designs but very simple. So I would buy my canvases off island if you're wanting to stitch on theme from paradise. I just really hope that they're doing okay and would also be delighted if the shop returns to its former glory one day as it was always a little slice of heaven to me.
