I have lived in my home for the past 28yrs and this is the 1st time I have had it painted. Yes, way overdue! My home is stucco, salmon color and has a red tile roof. As my home had not seen any outside work since it was built, Ray advised that before applying any paint, there would be prep work. He walked through this process in detail and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I felt extremely confident in handing my home over to him and his team to do this work. From the first day, the team worked hard every day and cleaned up after each day as well. I think my home needed more prep work than anticipated. Ray communicated with me daily on the progress. I truly appreciated this communication and how honest he was about the team's daily work status. My wife and I were ready to paint our house so we started to ask around. Ray from REAL Painting kept coming up. I then found out they just painted my mother in law's house. They couldn't have been happier so I gave them a call. Ray got back to me the same day with "I can come take a look tomorrow if that works?" Great start I thought. He arrived as scheduled the following day. He walked around my house pointing out what he recommended and how we should address some items of concern. At the end of the estimate apt he provided me with several references and testimonials I could review. A couple days later I received my quote. Stop shopping, this is who you want to paint your house! REAL Painting is the real deal! Ray and his crew were professional, courteous, did everything promised and more, with quality and craftsmanship! They were on-time every day and were very easy to work with. You could tell, as the work progressed, that this was going to be a great job! And here's something, going in to this, I mentioned to Ray that we have a old Beagle that uses the side of our house for his dialy "business". Ray made sure that this side of the house was clean and available for the dog every night before the crew left. Way cool! We have a 2-color scheme on our house. The main body is one color and the raised design accents are a different color. REAL Painting has a very cool way to give all of those stucco accents a sharp, clean, and smooth edge. Believe me, it makes a huge difference! The house also had a lot of stucco cracks from a sagging foundation that was recently fixed. REAL Painting filled each one. Now, you can't tell where the cracks were. Near the completion of the job, I had some small design changes that I wanted. They were executed to perfection! REAL Painting is the real deal!! No need to look any further. My house was last painted in 2007 and was in desperate need for wood repair and paint. Ray came out prior for a walk-thru of my property and explained the entire process from power washing, dry rot repair, prep-work, covering landscape, and the painting process. The crew at REAL Painting are professional, hard-working, communicated everything with us during the week, and even moved the mulch away from the house to get complete coverage towards the bottom. The crew cleaned up everyday, as if they weren't even there. Ray uses a contractor, Caccavello Construction, for the dry rot repair, and they do awesome work. These two teams compliment each other for a great final product. We are very pleased with the final product and look forward to working with Ray and his team in the future. We paid thousands more for Ray from REAL Painting to paint our house and it was worth every penny. We bought a house in Glen Cove last year and it had been painted by someone else in 2016 but the job was so poorly done we could tell what color the house was before. The wood siding was cracked and splitting and after replacing many boards we wanted to protect the rest. The amount of prep work done by Ray's crew was nothing short of phenomenal. Due to the extensive splitting in the wood his crew had to use an unbelievable amount of caulking to seal the cracks. I am amazed at the thoroughness and attention to detail. Afterwards, when they pressure washed the driveway they were able to clean up the paint that had been dripped by the two previous painters. Ray's bid was significantly more than any of the other bidders and I feel completely certain that I made the right decision. Not only does my house look better but I know that the wood siding will be protected for years to come. Saying that we loved the job Ray and his crew did on the exterior of our house would be an understatement! REAL Painting did a phenomenal job from the get go. We have a 3500 square foot 2 story house in Benicia which hadn't been painted in 15 years. They spent the first few days of work meticulously prepping the house in terms of power washing, scraping and caulking before they even put on a splash of paint. Ray made the whole process so easy. He checked in with us every morning making sure we knew what was going to happen that day and see if we had any questions. He was always there to make suggestions and reccomendations. Ray had excellent communications at all stages of our house painting project and addressed beforehand all of our questions and concerns. The crew of three painters showed up consistently every day at the same time. They are not only professionals in their field, but they are also very aware of the disruptions the project created for us, and they made sure any concerns we had were addressed. Here too we have to acknowledge the great communications with the head painter, Jaime Sr. He made sure we understood the project progress and what the next steps were. All in all, this was unquestionably the best contractor experience we have had and the quality of the preparation work was outstanding. They pay attention to details, their prep work (powerwashing, caulking, and patchwork) was so extensive, got here every day with an early start ready to work, and was willing to work with me in picking my colors.
