On our trip, we decided to have dinner in Miramar and looked for nearby restaurants based on reviews. We settled on Real Thai Fusion Restaurant, finding parking in their parking lot. The restaurant's ambiance perfectly captured the essence of Thailand. We were seated quickly and received the menu. From the menu, we decided to try Iced Thai Tea, Summer Rolls, Wonton Soup, Basil Fried Rice, Pad Drunken, and Garlic & Black Pepper. We began with Thai Tea, which was excellent, tasting like local tea prepared well. The Wonton Soup was equally impressive, a delicious and comforting hot soup that everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed. These two were the best dishes of the night. Our food order soon arrived, but the portions were quite small compared to the prices we paid. Furthermore, the amount of protein was extremely limited; our dish contained only 3-4 small pieces of chicken. The taste of some of the dishes, for example, Basil Fried Rice and Garlic and Black Pepper, was bland, which was another disappointment of the night. Real Thai Fusion Restaurant has beautiful decor and the ambiance showcased the Thai culture. For seating, there is an option to sit in the booth pits with your shoes off or at the dining tables. We choose the booth as our party included small children who loved the space to move about while dining. The service was excellent; very welcoming. There is a little storefront selling items like souvenirs that was a nice touch. Now food-- we ordered crab Rangoon and spring rolls as appetizers which were nice and hot. Entrees ordered were the drunken noodle, red curry with chicken, and the Thai fried rice with combination meats. Delicious! You get to choose how spicy your dish is too. The flavors are there, my Pad Kee Mao was definitely delicious but it came without basil, once I let the waitress know she went back to the kitchen and got me some right away. I judge my Thai food on whether or not I need to add any sauce. I am truly a sauce girl. But if I can eat it without needing any sauce, then it's a guaranteed five stars. This basal fire rice was good, but was better once I added the sauce that came with the wings. I would def recommend and eat there again the next time we're in town. read more

If you're in the area for some decent Thai food this would be the place. If I were grading this in a bigger city it would be closer to three stars but I had a recent great experience with this place for catering for an event. Some standout dishes are the chicken satay and the spring rolls. I'd avoid getting the summer rolls as I found the veggies limp and not as fresh as it should be. We tried this restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were great. They have these nice Thai style booths where you can sit (just have to take your shoes off). See photos below. We tried their hot and cold sake. Both were really good. Their Thai appetizer sampler was delicious too. I tried their pad Thai at spice level 4, and it could have been more spicy for my taste. But the pad Thai itself was really good. Now my favorite was their Panang curry, which is always hit or miss but this place didn't disappoint. Overall we will back at this place to try new things. For dinner, we shared the Royal Pad Thai adding Shrimp and Tofu, cooked with house-made peanut sauce; this was really good as expected, and cooked perfectly with spicy flavors at "3", enough to feel some heat. Came here for lunch while visiting. First do not let the small front discourage you. This is a smaller family business. The inside is clean and organized. The tan is very friendly. Greeted with smiles. The menu has many options, gluten free lots of veggies. Plenty of seafood also. Been in Florida a few days but this is the best food we have eaten so far. Had the shrimp in soup. I'm here on vacation and was getting a little tired of all the seafood I've been eating so I decided to take my party here for dinner. We called earlier in the day to ask if they accepted reservations and were greeted with such a friendly lady! We went here because we were shopping in Destin and this was nearby. I saw the review stating this had the best crab Rangoon ever and knew I had to try it. I love crab Rangoon but I'm also very picky about it because I only like them if they are sweet. This was not only sweet but had the extra element of curry flavoring which was a nice touch. The crab Rangoon is probably in some of the top crab rangoons I've ever had. I also had the red curry with beef which was fine but a little disappointing after the amazing appetizer.
