    Strip bar next to massage

Amazing massage, hit all areas, it is closed to a strip bar, other than that, $80/hr 60 min massage, and they speak English

The reception area, with a waterfall adding to the sense of tranquility when you enter.

My wife and I have been regular clients for the past couple of months and Yiu-Yiu and Emily have done a fantastic job with our deep tissue massages. They are very friendly (though we--okay, my wife--mostly speaks in Mandarin with them, which may have helped) and have definitely helped out with my back and my wife's general achiness. Our regular appointments have benefited us so much that we feel compelled to add the business listing to Yelp; even though we live in East Bay, we can't help but come back!

They did a great job releasing stress and relieving my shoulder pain. The place is quiet and relaxing, almost fall asleep.

There are 2 therapists there, Emily and Yu-Yu (I hope I'm spelling it right), and both are wonderful.

I've been going to Lucky Foot Relaxation Massage for quite some time now, and I can honestly say…read moreevery therapist I've worked with has been experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and very well trained. What I appreciate most is that they take the time to understand my specific focus areas and adjust the massage based on what my body needs that day. They really listen and tailor the session to what works best for me, whether it's deep tissue focus, recovery, or overall relaxation. And then they always take time to make me feel comfortable. Another thing that stands out is their flexibility and customer service. Many times I've reached out last minute because I happened to be nearby or wanted to book same day, and they've often been able to accommodate me with therapists ready to go. Consistently professional, clean, reliable, and high quality service. Highly recommend.

I had already planned to leave a tip, but when it wasn't what they considered their "minimum," I was questioned about it and even laughed at. That alone was unprofessional, but it didn't stop there. The front desk staff then pulled out a tip sign that was hidden behind another sign--something that should have been clearly visible from the start if it's truly their policy. On top of that, I was charged more on my card than what I was told. Fifteen percent does not equal twenty percent, and that kind of discrepancy is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the towels used during the service had a noticeable mildew smell, especially the one placed on my face, which completely took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. Overall, between the lack of transparency, pressure around tipping, being overcharged, and poor hygiene standards, this was not a professional or comfortable environment. I would not recommend this place.

I called ahead to make an appointment for a 60 minute massage, but when I arrived, the only person available to do my massage was the receptionist. Kim did a good job on the massage (excellent pressure and very relaxing), but she had to run out a couple of times to address her front desk duties. I was happy with the massage, so I tipped 20%, which came out to be less than $20 (this is worth mentioning for what happens at my next appointment), then was on my way. I should also mention that on my way out, a man next to me at the counter who seemed to be a staff member but very well could have been a customer was clearly staring at me but not talking to me--creepy! 2nd experience (today): 1 star. I made an appointment for a 60 minute deep tissue massage. I arrived a bit early. No one was at the front desk, so I waited until 5 minutes before my appointment time to ring the bell. A different receptionist help me get set up and into my room. My therapist, Amanda, started my massage 10 minutes late, but to her credit, she made up the time so that I got my full 60 minutes. Although the pressure was fine (I needed the strong pressure for my knots and sore muscles), she was a bit rough and sloppy with the massage. For example, she would grab my skin so that it felt like I was being pinched (I discovered a bruise from this when I got home), and she yanked my underwear around a lot (she could have done this with more care). As a result, I only wanted to tip the minimum 15%, but after she counted how much I gave her in front of me(!!), she pulled out a sign that the business requires a minimum of a $20 tip for 60-minute massage because she couldn't express herself in English and got her coworker to explain that tipping at a massage parlor is different than tipping at a restaurant as the therapists work very hard. There are so many things wrong with this. My initial complaint is that they should be more transparent with their pricing by posting this sign up with their prices, but guess what? That's illegal, which is why they showed me a sign after the fact. Also, asking for a tip makes it not a tip. Finally, I would sure love to hear what restaurant servers have to say about her response because I guess servers don't work as hard as massage therapists? In all seriousness, if businesses need to provide a better wage for their workers, increase the massage price; tips need to be earned! Tips were traditionally meant To Insure Proper Service, but I definitely did not receive proper service. Try at your own risk, but the quality of your massage is hit or miss and I wouldn't want to support the business practices and customer service that I experienced.

Coming from someone who has seen chiropractors and massage therapists since age 12 (now age 44), I know a thing or two. However this was refreshingly different. I felt heard, understood, seen, and all the things you wish for in any given relationship! However I don't know about you as the reader , but for me I'd MUCH rather be MOST LISTENED TO and understood BY THE ONE who is going to help in (hopefully) making me feel better not just physically but mentally as well, by reliving the pain in my body. Amen right ? Well that's what has happened for me here. From my over explanatory phone call about my pain (I'm sorry and grateful to and for the woman who had to listen on the other end) to my over explanations to JONATHAN , who by the way is by far the best massage therapist IVE EVER HAD (and I do not ever LIE nor would I ever joke about pain management /relief). Jonathan truly listened, heard and understood me. That was blatantly clear by how he worked on my body. Done deal he's the best! But of course none of this could be possible without the man himself, Dr. Leslie Chui. The man exudes excellence, integrity and kindness. He's the type of guy whose presence calms your entire being , without even trying. His chiropractic technique and skill are above and beyond , just like his practice (Back & Body Wellness , in case you didn't pick up my hints ). Dr. Les has created something special here, not only proving that science can be medicine, but it takes the right type of people to orchestrate this type of healing. It shines through in his hand picked staff. I give Back & Body Wellness ALL of the stars, I give it a 10 out of 10. I don't think I'll find anywhere else that is so unique, full of skillful people and so dedicated to helping others. I Thank you so so much Dr. Les, I am ecstatic to have found your practice, and you
