Very disappointed in Reasonable Moving Services. Scheduled a move date with them a week or so in advance with a show window from 8a-10a (because I had to be at the new location for internet set-up shortly after). 9:30 am comes around and I text the owner to see if they're still coming and he gives me the # to my mover. I contact the mover and they are GETTING THE TRUCK SERVICED with no idea when the servicing will be finished. Mind you, they had 30 minutes to meet the window. I asked if they knew how far away they were from my location and the mover said "I don't know, I haven't even checked where your address is." WHAT?! I ask where the shop they're at is and they say PLANO. I was moving from ARLINGTON, which is an hour away. I tell them that and the mover says "that's not my issue, I'm just the mover". I tell them I need to cancel because they were severely going to miss the window and I could not wait for them because I had other things to do. How unprofessional and irresponsible. They ruined my entire day and messed up all my plans. I had to hire another moving company last minute and pay $300 more than we planned because they were unprofessional and could not plan accordingly on when to service their truck. What professional company services their truck DURING the time they're supposed to be moving someone and not even call to tell them plans have changed? If I didn't call them, they wouldn't have called to let me know about any delay. Proceed with caution. read more

We moved from a two story home to another two story a few blocks down. We requested moving service for a 4+ bedroom with three movers. The guys came and only had a 3 bedroom move on their paperwork so they had to adjust a little. The team was hardworking and had to move us in the heat, so we are grateful for their positive attitude and demeanor. Our wood stairs and walls got banged up pretty good, but we expected some damage moving the furniture downstairs. We will definitely need to go in and put the top stair coverings back on and repair/paint the walls. Assembly was included in the moving service, but we decided to only have them assemble the office desk and we would take care of the rest. The desk was the last item they moved and assembly was rushed. When I went to use the desk, it fell apart. The door was broken off the hinge and it collapsed in, beyond what is repairable. We were told we would get a refund in the amount of .60 cents/pound. The desk cost about $300 and we will get a refund for about $100, so we're out some money. I would say overall, the guys were nice and worked hard but some of our stuff took a beating. read more

The movers (2 men) arrived within the agreed upon time period and immediately began to move my things. They were polite, kind, and professional. The move was super fast as all of my belongings were already boxed up and no disassembly/reassembly was needed. They did not move any appliances as I had none. They wrapped the furniture, etc. I moved from a 3rd floor 1bdrm apartment to a 2nd floor apartment; and my new apartment location was 5 minutes up the street. Additionally, there were no surprise charges when the job was finished. My job was a 2 hour minimum charge and they finished within that 2 hours. The only negatives I have is that when the job began, I realized on the paperwork they had indicated a 5 hr minimum when it should have stated 2 Hours minimum. Also, one of the movers was trying to "suggest/hustle" me for more of a tip than I provided. I didn't like that at all because the tip is at the discretion of the customer. So, be aware of that. Yelp doesn't allow you to not choose a star - I would not give 1 star for this service. Beware! Recently used this service. Very disappointing. Wish I would have canceled when they asked me the same question multiple times when planning the move for my son. They arrived at his apartment and asked for cash for the move which was never mentioned previously. They asked if I had tape?? When they realized we were moving our items to a storage unit (informed them 2 times when booking the service) they refused to use move furniture pads. They wrapped some furniture with plastic but did not protect our furniture and we now have damage. The furniture they did not wrap has stains on the material now. The movers sent an an email guaranteeing pads to cover furniture, plastic wrap to wrap furniture and items AND they stated they provide mattress protection/covers. The crew ran out of wrap, refused to use pads and were rude when I complained particularly about not providing a mattress cover. I showed them the email and they were indignant stating no one told them about that and the customer should provide it not them. After the move, I contacted the company about damages and as expected from their shady operation, they have not responded. They do not prorate their time either so mover beware! If they go one minute over an hour, you owe them the full hour. read more

The 2 men that showed up were very sweet, but wayyyy too old to be moving. It took them almost 4 hours to make MAYBE 6 trips. My husband ended up moving the washer himself, I moved bedframes, etc. In my email, I stated that we would be in the same complex, just a different building. They were told by someone in their office that we were just going to be moving to the floor right under us. So instead of sending a big truck like stated in the contract, they sent a tiny budget truck. So even if we kept them around to finish the entire job, they would've had to send another truck, which would've taken more time and cost more money. Very poor communication on their end. You get what you paid for "Cheap" movers who rents budget rental trucks and not having one of their own. They've moved me twice within a yr apart . The first time I realized I had numerous scratches and dents and didnt say anything because i recognized it to late. This recent time 1/03/21 .... they were rushing and wasnt to my standards of "being careful " . They arrived 30 mins from their 9am-11am window frame. THEN once moved in to my new residential home. I noticed more scratches because they did not wrap my bed boards nor mirror to my dresser. I DO NOT RECCOMEND....just pay a couple of bucks more for a company who looks presentable and have their own personal equipment.(truck).. and will wrap everything/take better care when handling. The team did a fantastic job in not just packing and moving but also unpacking and cleaning. The entire move process took four days - 1 day to pack, 2nd day to move, 3rd day to unpack and another appointment to clean. Diana took care of all the planning and prep work which helped us be ready. Misty and Christina really helped us to make sure the packing, unpacking and cleaning was done really diligently. Booked them for a short distance move before the holidays... The 2-man crew arrived on time, but dispatch sent them with a truck that was too small for a 3/2 house, so I ended up moving a lot of items myself, instead of making 2 trips with their hourly rate. It did take a good bit longer than I expected (of course) , and they didn't bring the proper tools for big screen TV and bed assembly, adding to the time. I was happy that they wrapped all furniture well for transport, and there was no major damage. They generally handled all items with care. Probably could have been faster, but overall a decent experience, except for the tip shakedown at the end. The crew leader apparently expects a minimum of $100 for himself, with additional cash for his helper. Also, after they had finished, he stated that the credit card machine wasn't working, so the entire $600 invoice (plus tips) had to be paid with cash only. read more

I initially wanted to give a good review, but ended up having one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. The service was cheaper than other local companies I called, and i was able to get a move scheduled on short notice. That is where my positive experience ended. My move was from a 1 bedroom apt to a storage unit less than a mile away. I only had two large items (sofa, queen bed) and a few boxes. I moved the rest myself. It was an easy move for the movers that took less than an hour and a half total. I paid for 2 hours per the policy of the company. No problem there. After getting to the storage facility, I overheard one of the movers make multiple comments under his breath about me not helping out with the move and how "things would go faster if I helped out." Eventually, I did just that. I ended up taking some of the dollies of boxes myself and unloading them myself. Then, at the end of the move when it was time to pay, I paid the total amount plus a tip. I looked up online that an appropriate tip is 4-5$ per hour per mover. Even though I was upset with the comments and the fact that I had to do some of the work myself, I followed that policy and paid a 15$ tip. 1.5 hours for 2 movers. As soon as I handed the mover the money (not the one who I heard making comments previously) he counted it and said quote, "We always get 20$ each. You're giving us 15 to split. That's not enough." I was stunned and didnt know how to react. I sarcastically replied, "What do you want me to do, go back to the atm?" His reply, "We'll follow you." He then got in the truck with the other driver. I went to my car unsure of what to do and waited a few minutes but they still just sat there waiting. Eventually I got the nerve to walk back to the moving truck and tell them they needed to leave and accept the tip I gave them. Luckily they did so, but I was very nervous having that interaction. If I could rate them lower, I would. I will absolutely never use this company again and I advise anyone reading this to do the same. read more

Hired this company after being let down by my previously scheduled movers. They arrived at the arranged time for the move and the people who were sent as the movers were polite but took the two men 5 hours to move a one bedroom apartment with no appliances or extra large furniture to another unit within the same complex. One of the movers was quite obviously sweating out liquor while moving us and caused minor damage to two pieces of furniture (they took off $20 from our end total fee for us to find and replace a broken part of the headboard). At the end of the move we were being pressured to pay in cash so they could pay their helper- which was not discussed at the time of scheduling- and had a hard time contacting the office to make a card payment. We were able to pay by card but I wouldn't hire this company again as a first choice due to the slowness and weirdness at time of payment. read more

Scheduling went well and the movers showed up within the 2 hour window. Everything was moved well with no damage to my stuff. At least none discovered so far. Problem is, this was a small move on a 1 bedroom apartment. If the team had not needed a 15 minute break after the 1 1/2 hours point, they would have finished within the two hour timeframe. As it worked out, their 15 minutes break put us over by 10 minutes and I was charged for an extra hour. And then the movers said the get a $50 tip for these moves. I can't help but feel like I was played. I reported this to the company and simply got a response that they don't prorate. Disappointing. My prior move took 1 1/2 hours total. Scheduling the movers was a breeze. The agent that booked responded back ten mins after I requested quote, and after we finished talking, he sent my quote via email. Moving say was a nightmare. The quote stated that three movers were supposed to arrive between 1 and 3. The driver called me at 1:30 and said that they had a flat tire and wouldn't arrive in the expected time window. I understood, because things happen, however I never received a phone call after that. When I finally called them, the driver stated that they were 30 mins out. They didn't arrive until 7pm. The movers were very professional, but the driver was not apologetic at all. They broke down the beds, wrapped the furniture and loaded the furniture on the truck very quickly, but the truck was small. We moved out of a two bedroom apartment and only the furniture fit on the truck. My husband asked were they going to come back to get the boxes and about how long they estimated that would take so that he could make sure that he got enough cash for the total number of hours (they request that you pay with cash) and the driver said "no man, we got another job after this so we can't come back for these boxes". They were four hours late and we still had to hire another set of movers to move the boxes. read more

Beware! Most unprofessional moving company. We scheduled a move with arrival time at 9-11am and they were suppose to call 30 mins before arrival. I called at 8:45am in the morning, spoke to James and he confirmed I'm suppose to be the first move of the day. Then I called James at 10:45 to find out why I haven't gotten a call yet and was told to call Greg. After numerous calls/txt to Greg that were unanswered, I found out from James that despatch accidentally sent them to another move instead. They offered no solutions other then they will be there around 3pm. When I tried to call/txt James and their office for another solution there was absolutely no answer. If they are this unprofessional at the start of a move, can you imagine how they would be if they damaged something and you contacted them for a repair. I'm not sure how they have 4 stars on Yelp but when you look on google they have 2 stars which makes a lot more sense. Save yourself time and stress and pick a different moving company! read more

Greg and Alex were such a big help to my life right now. I recently moved here for my mother and she recently passed. i automatically took a hit to my finances, emotional stress bearing and a car wreck that left me feeling helpless and hopeless about the move i had coming up. I was offered a last minute offer to move out early to reduce any rent from my previous apartment the only problem is i would have to move out in 3 days and all three days i was booked with clients so i needed to find affordable and honest movers who could help me move not just my boxes but my mothers stuff as well last minute, at night time, for a low price. James the Rep was amazing at helping me set everything up. I was able to get the next day set up to move out. Not only did greg and alex do an awesome job of taking everything down they were polite and courteous as well.the best part and the hardest part was the fact that we were arriving around 9pm basicly to move in. because it was late and the truck was so big we couldn't get to the closest elevator to my building without having to go up a grand entry staircase. Luckily the guys were pros and moved on it as quick and fast as we could. I wasn't prepared for that and pitched in as much as i could but the guys did the rest. they were fiar with the price and will continue to use them again for my next move.
