The only reason why this got four instead of five stars is because it was so cold on level two where we were seated and we asked several times could they please make it warmer. It was really weird because as soon as you went to the stair area on level two it was warm and then on one and three it was warm. We had a reservation for 6 guest. We arrived and was immediately seated. Took 15 to 20 minutes to get water glasses filled, then 15 more minutes to get a drink order, then 15 minutes to get drink order and take our food order. 30 minutes to get food and other tables in the area had their order taken, eaten and left and turned the table with new guests seated during our wait. Had to ask for tea refills and asked for 2 extra glasses of tea since the waitress never checked on us. Got the food which was good but Saturday and Sunday from open to 3pm you can only order off the brunch menu and we wanted to try the chicken fried steak since everyone raves about it. They have CFS with eggs and breakfast potatoes and no fried bologna sandwich. read more

I'm not sure where the reviewers who are giving Reba's 5 stars are coming from. We visited Reba's today at lunch while passing through Atoka. Being a HUGE Reba fan I was so excited. The first red flag was that it was the lunch rush and there were hardly any customers in the place. For anyone who is saying that reservations are needed, well, I can't see that as an issue. Yes, the displays are great. That's the only reason it gets 1 star. While we were sitting down, the table next to us was talking to the waitress. The sandwich that came out to that table was completely soggy. I could see it from my seat. It looked lke the bun had been drenched in water. The waitress apologized and went up to speak to the Manager who just seemed to be hanging out at the bar. Fast forward about 10 minutes when the table of ladies to my left received their order. They began to eat then all looked at each other. I could only hear one lady state "it's not good." I couldn't see what they ordered. They spoke to the same waitress who, again, went up to the Manager (still at the bar) and spoke to her. Neither time did the Manager speak to any of these customers. I began to see why there wasn't a wait during lunch rush. Our food arrived. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and french fries. I'll give them credit...the fries were good. The chicken was horrible. If I was a betting person I would bet that it was frozen. I've had frozen chicken tenders from Walmart that taste the exact same. Not good. So, I paid $17 for a chicken sandwich that was HORRIBLE. My husband and I talked about complaining. But, I felt sorry for the poor waitress who was taking the brunt of all of this. You can imagine her attitude at this point was poor. So, we just paid our bill and left. It was apparent that the Manager had no intention of trying to correct any of this. Her customer service skills rate a 0! Definitely won't go back or suggest Reba's place to anyone. It makes me wonder if Reba herself knows what is going on here. And, before anyone makes the smart comment of "well, could you do better".....Heck yes, I could and I'm not a trained chef or Manager. But, I know that even in the face of a poor product, customer service can save you if you care at all. Go elsewhere. It's expensive and not worth it at all. I still love you, Reba. the wait was soooo long 3 hrs to get a table on an early Saturday lunch. they do not accept reservations. You come and wait. Im from the Bay Area, CA and even at the trendy restaurants there is not a 3 hr wait. The wait was definitely not worth it. although the food was yummy, its laden with fat and fried with all kinds of heavy carb foods and the menu is super limited. There was nothing light and healthy on the menu. I wanted to check it out but it was exactly as ai expected- high calorie, low quality, low on technique - it was basic grub you can make at home. I will not be returning unless i feel like inflammation of the arteries is needed. the high points were friendly waitstaff and the Manager Garret who is Rebas oldest niece was a gem. Made the hour drive from North Texas for my 56th birthday and it did not disappoint at all!! From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted and seated so welcoming. Our waitress Jade was so sweet and made sure we had what we needed at all times. Even the guy who brought the bread & butter was so sweet. Listened to great music while we ate delicious food. The food is amazing. It starts with fresh veggies and a cool in house made ranch dressing the we got Fried Green Tomato's they were crisp and fresh with a pimiento cheese and relish. We then ordered a Old Fashion it has orange peel with a square ice cube with an R in it and a orange with a sweet dark cherry on a cute musical note pick. We then enjoyed the Cherry Coke Burger .... Fresh Strawberry with Shortcake muffin and sweet cream with a dust of powdered sugar. It was a beautiful meal the service was above and beyond With the most beautiful venue having a rich history. The live music was a great topping to an already amazing meal. The gift shop is on the third floor it hold every thing from beautiful clothes boots to some is the best candles I have run across and everything Reba. I love Reba the person, but the Restaurant with her name on it in Atoka needs some help. The Food was bland and it was a looong time between the time we ordered until we received our main course. Tried Fried Green Tomatoes and the Banana Bread served with Salted Butter on the side. The main course was Fried Fish, but found the Fish to way too thick and not Crispy enough. My Friends ordered the Philly Sandwich and were not impressed. I saw most people ordering Brown Beans and Cornbread, but we did not try them. In short, a new Chef would be in order or maybe some new Recipes. Brother-in-law had a Hamburger and did not like it either. We came on Saturday afternoon and they were having brunch. First, they pour warm water in little clay mugs which was pretty gross. They handed us extra large paper menus as a souvenir to take home, which was awkward because our table was tiny. While we waited, the music was so loud and it was offensive...he was singing about life in Dixie. When my biscuit plate came, it was unlike any biscuit I have ever had. The atmosphere was very comfortable in the main dining area and everyone has a great view of the stage. I didn't see much of the second level seating, but part of it was open and you could view the stage below. The top floor is the store where you can buy some souvenirs. The staff in the store were very friendly and there is a nice sitting area off to one side. However, the service was very slow in the dining room and the food was not good at all. The staff were very pleasant, but it took forever to get our food and even longer to get a refill of our waters. We all three had different entrees and we didn't finish any of them. I had the chicken fried steak which was a generous portion, but thankfully the peppered gravy helped me get about a fourth of it town. The mashed potatoes were good, but I didn't eat the other side at all. It was dark green and looked very unappetizing and according to my son was just awful. I didn't try other two entrees which were the salmon and a bbq shrimp. The singer, Jordan, put on a really nice show. I think this could be great for Atoka as well as the other local businesses, but not with that food or the slow service in the dining area. read more

We have eaten at Reba's Place on two occasions. Both in the afternoon/early evening. The first time was just before the "official" opening and it was a bit on the trial side (which was to be expected) the complimentary vegatables and bread were excellent and a wonderful suprprise. We we're extremely disappointed that they were out of the Quail Poppers but this was a new establishment just starting up so felt that was understandable. The service both times we visited was very good. Our second time was for our anniversary and we were happy to see that the Quail Poppers were available. We were seated on the ground level in front of the stage and were disappointed to find out there would be no live music due to football season. The game was on the big screen however we could not hear it, we had to ask to have the volume turned on, which was promptly done. I can see the game being on however it would have been nice to have had Reba's music playing. After ordering we were told that they were out of the Strip Steak! It was 5:00pm, how do you run out of steak. But the real problem was the Sweet Tea. I have lived in Oklahoma all my life and never have I had such a disturbing glass of sweet tea! I asked what it was sweetened with and was told sugar or corn syrup, which I highly doubt. It tasted as if it came from a premixed container and artificial sweetener was used. Absolutely unacceptable!!! In closing, the service was great, food adequate, but due to the poor quality of the sweet tea we will NOT be back. read more

Have always wanted to come here since they opened but I live in Texas and it's kinda out of my way. I so happened to be passing through town while traveling and thought I could grab a quick lunch there. They have a sandwich on the menu that sounded amazing for lunch since it was 1:00pm. And since I'm "passing through" while driving on the interstate I called it in ToGo. Was informed they don't do ToGo that I would have to come in and set down to order. Like really!? This was my only chance to actually get to try this place out and due to my time restraints I wasn't able to stop and eat. You just lost me‍ I won't ever try to eat here again if I get the chance. Me and my family have come multiple times to eat and we always love it! The food is amazing and I love the meatloaf! The pimento mac and cheese is so delicious and we always have a wonderful server! Recently they have started having dinner pairings the last Thursday of the month and we got to go to the Sips and Screams for Halloween and it was super fun! For our appetizer, we had the Quail poppers. DUDE!!! They were amazing. My husband said next time we're there that's all he's getting. He had the filet mignon and sweet potato casserole. His ordered his steak medium rare, but was borderline medium ( not a big deal). I had the chicken fried steak with the brown butter mashed potatoes. I only needed a butter knife to cut it. Flavor was great! For dessert, banana pudding in a jar. Ohhhh my goodness! I'm a banana pudding fanatic. The Chantilly cream, amazing. The pudding, YUM! But it's the rum soaked banana bread that sends this over the top!!! If you go to arena's Place, ask for Randall! He's an absolute great waiter!!! He's entertaining and fun!! We decided to stop off here on the way back from Texas in Jusince it just recently opened. It did seem to take a long time getting our food even though there were many empty tables. The staff seemed to be still working out assignments and knowing what to do. The guy singing with the guitar on the first floor was awesome. And that made our waiting enjoyable. There were stairs and elevator offered to reach the 2nd and 3rd floors. I had a steak with soup and my husband had beans and cornbread. Any sides were extra cost, not included with the entree. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress came with 3 slices of sweet breads and 2 slices of watermelon. They were both very good. We were offered additional breads before we left which was nice. It looked weird when my steak was brought out on a large platter with nothing but the meat with a little squiggle of sauce for an artsy touch. I ordered the steak medium and it was cooked appropriately. The soup and beans were over salted from the kitchen. The meal was kind of pricey but that was not a huge surprise since one pays for name and unique atmosphere. I wouldn't mind returning and trying the catfish dinner or Jack rabbit stew, as long as it's not real salty. read more

There were new items on the menu which were enticing but the flavor really lacked this time. The coke burger had no flavor, the green beans (on the meatloaf plate) were bland at best. I don't post much about anything. However, I took my mom for her birthday to Reba's Place in Atoka, OK because she really likes Reba's music. We drove for 2 hours to get there and before we could even be seated they have some crappy policy that you cannot have a birthday cake, but if you do they charge you $3/slice to have. Their service was so slow waited for 30 minutes before they took our order then another hour before we got our food (they were not busy). Manager was completely rude and music wasn't awesome either. I hope the owner of this place is keeping an eye on this place. I will not be going back and thanks for disappointing my mom on her birthday. read more

This restaurant was a disappointment. The only reason we gave one star is because we were seated at the bar and the bartender was very nice and attentive. We went on a Sunday. You need to know that they ONLY offer a Brunch menu until 3:00 pm. There are only a few items that aren't breakfast related or do not have a breakfast type food integrated into the dish. We ate the fried catfish and it was nothing special. Long wait, disorganized staff and food that was just ok did not equal the experience that we would have expected from a restaurant with such a big name. read more
