I started seeing Dr Jones in 2022, now I have already hired an attorney to sue her for not being diagnosed properly and being misdiagnosed, putting my health in more danger and because this Dr Jones was the rudest doctor I have ever met, and I'm being kind when I say that. She kept telling me for over 3 years I'm just getting old and the body is gone make noises. I told her my short term memory is almost gone, I was already there, I was constantly peeing in my underwear as I had no control, etc... I kept going back for years and finally told my Physician, please find me another neurologist. She did and my new neurologist and cardiologist (both test for same things) and I was sent immediately to 5 MRI's and EGG and so much more, finally I was being taken seriously. When tests come back they immediately referred for surgery. As of now, my surgery is scheduled for next week. Both specialists said they were amazed!! That this was not caught before?! I have a spinal flattening in 3 places, my spinal cord flattened in my thoracic spine has a cyst and a web and fluid leaking out of my spinal cord, that has to be removed along with spinal decompression. On my cervical, I had prior surgery, so I'm considered extremely a sensitive case as my surgery will be very scary as I got so much worse over the years. On C6-7 Disc protrusion pressing nerve and on T6-T7 Arachnoid web/cyst indenting spinal cord. Small disc protrusion to the left side -- pressing on or near the left C7 nerve root. indentation on the spinal cord at T6-T7, from an arachnoid web or small cyst. So my spinal cord is leaking out spinal fluid, and I have a possible small web or cyst at T6-T7 affecting the spinal cord being. I have had a previous thyroidectomy, so not looking good for me. in which I died and they bought me back, ending up with over 50 surgical staples, so if you can imagine I'M VERY SCARED. So, when my surgery will be completed, there will be 2 surgeons, and they will use robotics as well and I just pray every day that I will not die in this surgery. All this I found out as I was still complaining that I still can't control my blader and my memory is so so bad. I worked for the government okay so I'm not dumb. This memory I get let go. I have suffered unbelievable a lot!!!! because this Dr has screwed my life up. There is so much more, but impossible to put it all in here, instead of her saying I'm just getting older, and the body is gone make noises, she should have listened to me and tried a little harder to find out what was wrong with me. I wanted to tell my story; in the hopes it will help Somone not go through what I went through. If I survive my surgery, I'm taking her to court. And one more thing, they told me after my surgery (if I survive) my short term memory will come back, and all my symptoms will go away, as it is happening due to spinal cord flattening etc.. so please pray for me as I'm scared for surgery. And one more thing.. I want everyone to know this, the office kept telling me I missed some appointments, and I did due to my medical condition I could not help it as my short term memory was so affected, and they blame me for missing 3 appointments, when the Dr should have known this person is in danger and needs help, instead of just saying it was my fault for missing 3 appointments, instead of owning up to it as she never texted me for the right thing, in 3 years time, but I lost so much more, I lost one job after another. So this doctor does not care, okay, she should have known my symptoms and ordered the right MRI's etc.. I suffered greatly, and I'm scared. I've read some poor reviews of Dr. Jones and I'm very surprised. I've been going to her for over 10 years and not only is she very nice she is also very thorough and knowledgeable. Yes, often you have to wait a while in the waiting room. This is because she actually talks to you about any concerns you may have without rushing you. I waited 45 minutes to see her, she stated " I'm the only dermatologist within 30 miles " she booked pts every 10 minutes. My appointment was in the morning so imagine how backed up she was in the afternoon? She looked at me for 5 seconds to say I didn't need to go back . ( which I would never go back) very disappointing, I had several people tell me NOT to go there, one of them was a retired physician. Wish I had listened. Very poor service. read more

She brushed off a spot I asked her to look at as a Reaction to a bug bite. I had had the spot for a good year. A second opinion At another office diagnosed me with melanoma. I had to have 2 major surgeries with a wide excision to remove it. She was nice enough but in my opinion not thorough and was so rushed she spent about 3 minutes with me with an insanely packed waiting room. My last appointment was over 2 years ago in her office. I had a mole removed and it grew back as too small ones. I also had a bug bite which she said was a reoccurring one, but it has since then blossomed and has become 4 times the size. I need to find a different dermatologist. Dr. Rebecca Jones is a dermatologist. Which is almost a shame, because I liked her better than most other doctors I've seen. I kinda wish she could be my primary care physician. There are signs in Dr. Jones's waiting room instructing patients to make another appointment if they have more than a couple matters to discuss with the doctor, so as to allow them to keep to a schedule. Once I met Dr. Jones, I decided that this was probably a passive-aggressive attempt by the office staff to get her to hurry it up, because she actually likes to spend time talking to her patients. Which may suck for the schedulers, but is very welcome if you are the patient -- not to mention being pretty unusual. Rather than jumping straight to the reason for my visit, Dr. Jones inquired about another medical condition I have, and feelingly opined, "That sucks," after I told her about it. She told me about an article she'd read about it, and wrote down the source for me -- none of this had anything to do with dermatology! She then dealt with the mark that was the reason for my visit. She ended up drawing dots on my arm in three colors of marker to show me what were and what weren't worrisome moles/freckles. She took the time to explain things to me, and left me feeling listened to, reassured, and respected. Since I just had one consultation with her, I can't say how she treats various ongoing conditions (like, say, eczema or acne), or how she does when there is a worrisome mole. But I can say that if you want a doctor that first and foremost acts like a real, caring human being, she is an excellent choice. read more

Just called to make a skin check appointment. Was told for that a skin check appointment I would have to wait OVER A YEAR to be seen! Seriously?!?!? Thankfully I just wanted a general skin check, and wasn't worried about a mole--by the time I could actually get in and be seen it could be a disaster! read more

I do not recommend this Doctor .She makes you wait about 40-50 min in a small waiting room, and when it's time to see her, she doesn't even look at your skin, in fact she spends the time on her Ipad finding the worse medicine for your skin . After 7 minutes she is ready to leave the room. The medicine she gave me made my skin worse and I got better when I stopped taking it. Terrible experience! read more

I second the other reviewer's regret that they can't also have Dr. Jones as their PCP. If you are an educated patient who has read a great deal about your own condition from reputable sources, Dr. Jones will talk with you almost like a peer. It had been years since a practitioner has treated me with so much respect, and at the same time, got immediately up to speed with my medical history and concerns. She is truly remarkable in a world of cookie-cutter medicine: realistic, whip-smart, patient and sympathetic. She doesn't watch the clock or sweep you out of her office.
